They're expensive, that much is true. The ambiance is beautiful, and the quality of their beverages is amazing. I get the pistachio matcha each time and I get it every time. I can't think if another place that (1) offers the same item or (2) could do a better job. It's generally busy and loud, and not a spot I'd pick to study in back in my law school days. A good friend from Houston took me to Haraz coffee house in Sugarland, TX. Loved their bee bites, ambiance and especially Pistachio latte. When I was searching for a coffee in Plano area, I found this place. Since the staff was cleaning, they took my order of Pistachio latte and bee bites only after a 5 minutes wait. I was a bit concerned about ordering the last pie of bee bites and it turned out hard and borderline okay. It took about 10 minutes to receive Pistachio latte. But it was worth every minute. Been to Haraz Coffee in Plano a couple of times and enjoyed it every time. I always get a pot of the saffron adeni tea to share and love that you can customize the sweetness -- half sweet is perfect for me since I prefer less sugar. This last visit we also tried the saffron milk cake and would recommend it. It was busy when we got here but really didn't wait long to order and get drinks. Love, love the different drinks! They have turkish coffee, which I love, and have a hard time finding it anywhere. A really nice Arabic coffee house with great ambiance, lots of seating, and friendly staff. We were a large group, 11 total and got a pot of tea to share along with some desserts. The biscoff cheese cake is about as good as it sounds and as good as it deserves to be. The tea was well made and served in a pot along with the tiny glass cups that are a hallmark of this style of coffee house. There are so many of these popping up now and they all tend to be quality establishments in my experience. Haraz is not going to be breaking that trend. Solid 5 stars. read more

I have come here three times now. The service has always been excellent. They're friendly,take my order right away, and the quality of what I receive-- the coffee-- always keeps me coming back. It's the flavor of the coffee Mashallah. It's really delicious. I love to get the mufawar which has cardamom in it. The beans are also roasted perfectly. The ambiance in this coffee house is amazing. There's enough space between the tables that if you want to have a private conversation with your friend then you can. The cups for tea and coffee are amazing Mashallah. And the decor is superb. The one thing I've noticed is that the coffee is always really hot. I wish they'd make it a tad less hot. Be careful taking that first sip! read more

05/09/26 - 3pm. My very first time in Haraz coffee house and I ordered a chai and the cheese boat. I was very disappointed with the quality. The cheese boat borders were extremely hard -- I could not bite into it or even cut them properly with a knife. When I asked the server whether this was normal, she casually mentioned that the cheese boat had probably been sitting out for too long. She acknowledged that it is usually soft, yet there was no apology, concern, or attempt to address the issue.They just ignored me. Unfortunately I stood there for more than 5 minutes as well as another patron waiting to be served and both of us were completely ignored. I will say, personally, I'm not that much a fan of spices, so I didn't enjoy this drink as much, but I can see the appeal. I think the spice was just a bit overpowering and I couldn't taste that much coffee flavor as I would have hoped. Biscoff Milk Cake - the cake is very moist and has that like wet milk taste. It's a tad bit on the sweeter side but it tastes very delicious! VIBES Seems like a great place for a hang out or catch up with friends. The coffee I had was very good (I think it was called the Haraz) but expensive compared to other coffee shops. The ambiance is very nice and spacious on the inside. It did take a while to receive the coffee but when it came I was pleasantly surprised. Due to how expensive the coffee was, I wouldn't come here often as that is too much to spend on such a small amount (almost 10 dollars), but I would and will go back at some point. read more

We stopped in a Saturday evening after dinner and to catch up with friends. The seating was surprisingly full for that time of evening but it wasn't too loud so we could enjoy our conversation. Since this was our first time in and the young man working the counter was very helpful. He talked us through the different coffee option and I love that they offer adjustments to the sweetness level of your latte choice. I love Yemeni coffee and tea, especially the adeni chai. The full-bodied black tea flavored with various herbs creates a unique aroma and taste. Haraz was my first love when I discovered Yemeni coffee. This place has it all, great coffee, great tea, delicious pastries, excellent service and an amazing atmosphere! I quickly fell in love with the coffee and the ambience of the coffee shop. The interior is impeccably decorated and the seating is comfortable. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and hardworking and have always make my drinks exactly how I like them. The lattes are exquisite and have just the right amount of flavor. My husband loves the pistachio latte, this is actually one of the few places he can find it. He also enjoys their Oreo Milk Cake. I also enjoy the pistachio latte as well as their Adeni tea. We stopped in today in between soccer games nearby. The interior is gorgeous and comfortable with good natural light. Despite being busy, we got quickly through the line and were seated with table numbers for our order. Our orders slowly (as expected with this time of day and how busy they were) trickled out to our tables and were gorgeously presented on the plates! I tried the kanafeh cheesecake, which was phenomenal. I even got my little dude nephew to try it and he gave it two enthusiastic thumbs up. My sister got what I believe was a tiramisu type croissant. If you're a tiramisu lover, it's a great little treat. I got the strawberry lemonade to drink, and was sizable for the cost with fresh strawberries - perfect mixture, not too sweet not too sour. Cool new Yemeni coffeeshop in east Plano. Interior is stunning with a lot of nice finishes throughout. They offer a lot of pastries and desserts, and it's hard to choose. We got the saffron milk cake, which is kind of like a tres leches cake. It was delicious. The Adeni chai was great, and the latte was pretty solid as well. Their branding is on point with their cups and merchandise. The only downside is that they are pricey, though they do give big sizes. An option for smaller sizes would be nice. Ordered Iced Harazi Mufawar and Hot Maleki ($15). Both tasted incredibly watery so we ordered an double shot of espresso ($8) to add roughly a shot to each drink to add to the coffee flavor. The espresso was sour and burnt and just ruined the crappy coffee even more. Waste of money, really disappointed in the drinks. Arwa is significantly better, definitely not coming back. I like that the iced coffee Harazi has a distinctive taste cardamom and warm spices, quite different from the usual coffee and cream. The pistachio latte, made with ground pistachio paste or syrup, was decadent , sweet, creamy, rich and can be a dessert by itself. 1st time here and we are hooked, although myself I cannot drink this everyday, because these iced coffee drinks are so scrumptious they have to be calories bombs! He first gave me a 2 oz cup and kept saying it's store policy and when I asked him why this wasn't communicated when I had requested an extra cup at the time of placing the order, the other kid said they can give an 8 oz cup. Came here right after they opened and there wasn't even a Yelp page to check in. It's a bit out of the way for us but we will definitely be back. The tea is a little strong but so good. You can get a pot that serves 4 or 6 and it's enough. Definitely try their mosaic cakes and other pastries. There's one that's stuffed with cream cheese and drizzled with honey that is delicious! Haraz coffee is an upscale coffee shop with beautiful chandeliers and premium single or group comfortable seating. However, this is a coffee shop not a lounge so how's the coffee? Mediocre at BEST.... The cortado was good but $7!?!? WHAT?! I was debating if I should get it and I did. Taste just as good as a $3 or $4 cortado at any coffee shop. The pistachio latte is decent but not sweet and the worker said it was sweet. Minimal flavor to be honest. The rose milk cake was good but again for $8....the menu says $7. The service was weird because they came and gave us our desert and drinks but each one was delivered separately. Just wait until everything is ready and give it at one time so we won't have an awkward waiting while the drinks get cold. I paid $26 for latte, cortado, and cake. Yes it was decent but not worth $26! I can get the same quality at any other coffee shop for $15. I would recommend DERA coffee or BLOOM coffee which is just as good (probably even better) and you will pay $7-10 less! My recommendation to this place is take off the chandeliers and lower your prices maybe it would welcome me again. For now, I am not coming back! read more

Honestly, this place is all hype, a sprinkle of ambiance and literally nothing else of value (a factor we'll get to later). If it wasn't for their opportune location relative to the Muslim community, you wouldn't see them so successful. In terms of service, I can't say much. Their first month was rough with POS issues and lack of employee training. It's clear they weren't prepared for the crowds they were getting, which is really unexcusable considering the brand they started with. They have improved considerably since opening but it's ended at nothing worthy of note. As for their actual food and drinks, I have absolutely no idea how they managed to grow so big. This isn't a one off bad experience mind you, but this comes as a result of multiple visits both by myself, as well as family and friends picking up. Their coffee is grainy and bitter with no real aromas to speak of. Their Hallmark Adeni/Karak chai is always burnt with far too much raw spice they take no time to truly extract flavor from. Their juices are barely hidden syrups, and don't get me started on their baked items. Nearly stale pastries, sour milk cakes and after that all, way, way too expensive. In the economy we're in, even if they were serving up quality items, $50+ for a family of 4 to enjoy a nice dessert out is insane. There is truly nothing redeemable about this place, and trust me I tried to find out if there was. I very rarely hand out ratings so low, but I have never once walked away from here happy. I've been reviewing places for a long time and I'll keep chugging along, so if that means something to you, don't bother coming here. read more
