saffron adeni tea and saffron milk cake
    Fatima H.

Been to Haraz Coffee in Plano a couple of times and enjoyed it every time. I always get a pot of the saffron adeni tea to share and love that you can customize the sweetness -- half sweet is perfect for me since I prefer less sugar. This last visit we also tried the saffron milk cake and would recommend it. Even my brother visiting from out of town said it's one of the better adeni teas he's had and would come back again.

It was busy when we got here but really didn't wait long to order and get drinks. Love, love the different drinks! They have turkish coffee, which I love, and have a hard time finding it anywhere. But also, many different coffees too! They even have a psl! Still I should say, too! Many places have it seasonal and it's already gone but maybe here I could have it longer OR maybe year round?! Nice and warm atmosphere. Really gives you vibes of sitting and talking with friends.

A really nice Arabic coffee house with great ambiance, lots of seating, and friendly staff. We were a large group, 11 total and got a pot of tea to share along with some desserts. The biscoff cheese cake is about as good as it sounds and as good as it deserves to be. The tea was well made and served in a pot along with the tiny glass cups that are a hallmark of this style of coffee house. There are so many of these popping up now and they all tend to be quality establishments in my experience. Haraz is not going to be breaking that trend. Solid 5 stars.

ORDER Haraz Mufawar - this is a Yemeni traditional coffee made with Yemeni coffee drink made with coffee, cream, and spices like cardamom. I will say, personally, I'm not that much a fan of spices, so I didn't enjoy this drink as much, but I can see the appeal. I think the spice was just a bit overpowering and I couldn't taste that much coffee flavor as I would have hoped. Biscoff Milk Cake - the cake is very moist and has that like wet milk taste. It's a tad bit on the sweeter side but it tastes very delicious! VIBES Seems like a great place for a hang out or catch up with friends. It's alright for studying, but there are not that many outlets and tables are a bit on the smaller side. There is seating from tables of individual chairs to booth seating and a small couch area. SERVICE Service is great and everyone is very polite and they're quick to get food and drinks out !

The coffee I had was very good (I think it was called the Haraz) but expensive compared to other coffee shops. The ambiance is very nice and spacious on the inside. It did take a while to receive the coffee but when it came I was pleasantly surprised. Due to how expensive the coffee was, I wouldn't come here often as that is too much to spend on such a small amount (almost 10 dollars), but I would and will go back at some point.

This was the perfect spot to catch up with friends! It was so nice to share a drink together in such a beautifully decorated space. We got the Adeni/Karak Chai and it really hit the spot on a cold December night. The service was amazing, and everything felt cozy and welcoming. I'd definitely come back!

My first time in this cute coffee shop and I am in love! The pastry case is filled with so many beautiful and delicious options. We decided to try the chocolate mosaic cake, pistachio milk cake, and the chocolate nutella supreme. I also got a Red Tea (black tea with cardamon) to go with my pistachio cake and it was a perfect pairing. What I loved the most was that it came out piping hot! My kids were loving the shaped plates and the forks. Hard to explain but you need to come to this coffee shop and experience it yourself! Plus the decoration and high ceilings makes for nice ambiance!

It's a beautiful coffee shop! I've been to many coffee places in the area. This one is most impressive! It is spacious with plenty of seating and is ornately decorated to show the ethnicity. I love Yemeni coffee and tea, especially the adeni chai. The full-bodied black tea flavored with various herbs creates a unique aroma and taste. If you like a sweet floral note, try the version with saffron. You'll like it! I also like their "honey comb" bread. It's crusty outside and cheesy inside. I also have their pistachio cake, which is moist, nutty, and chocolaty. So delicious! The baristas are very friendly and courteous. Stop by and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Customer service was great, latte was good just a bit too sweet for me. Great place to study!

Haraz was my first love when I discovered Yemeni coffee. This place has it all, great coffee, great tea, delicious pastries, excellent service and an amazing atmosphere! I quickly fell in love with the coffee and the ambience of the coffee shop. The interior is impeccably decorated and the seating is comfortable. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and hardworking and have always make my drinks exactly how I like them. The lattes are exquisite and have just the right amount of flavor. My husband loves the pistachio latte, this is actually one of the few places he can find it. He also enjoys their Oreo Milk Cake. I also enjoy the pistachio latte as well as their Adeni tea. I just wish this place were closer to my home as it is quite a drive, however, the drive won't stop us from visiting every now and then for the Pistachio latte it is definitely a must have for us!

I am happy to see another upscale and unique coffee shop in DFW. Haraz Coffee is a Yemeni coffee shop with a beautiful interior and a very cozy atmosphere. They serve delicious coffee, tea and pastries. This place is very spacious and clean. They are on a pricier side (Haraz latte cost is 7.85$).

Made an impromptu stop at this location and was delighted to discover the best chai coffee and pastries I think I have ever had! The decor and music is absolutely top tier and is only rivaled by the amazing treats. Didn't catch the name of the person taking our order, but he suggested so many things once we said we were visiting from out of town - he told us we were in for a treat and he wasn't wrong!

Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

The baristas are all super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions. It's also super cozy with dim lighting, and the music isn't super overpowering or loud. There's mostly comfy couches but also a few tables and high top seating. Just a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. I was able to comfortably complete some work on my laptop, with working wifi. There were also people here socializing in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast tacos, so I opted for a bacon cheddar scone at one visit and a lemon blueberry scone on another. They were both delicious! The baristas told me that their chai leans toward the sweeter side versus the spicier side, so I opted for an iced sugar-free vanilla latte, which was not overly sweet. I also tried the beez neez (latte with honey and cinammon) another time and enjoyed it! They offer 2% milk, which I don't always find at coffee shops. Since it's in downtown Plano, there's street parking, which wasn't difficult for me since I came at 8 AM. I believe there are parking garages located nearby. Overall, I've greatly enjoyed 1418 Coffee and will most definitely be visiting more throughout this month while I'm working in the area!
