Came here twice so far and had great visits each time! Great food and friendly service. Got their shrimp salads both times because it's just that good! The shrimp are big, well seasoned, and tastes very fresh. I usually get it on a toasted roll or hero with lettuce, tomato and mayo. There's a gentleman who works there (wears glasses) that was friendly each time. He says that they'll pretty much make whatever you order so you can really customize your sandwich to how you like. Ample and clean seating in the deli if you choose to eat there. Overall highly recommend! read more

Harbor Deli Too is such a great sandwich place . We absolutely love every thing on the menu it's like endless . Today I ordered the Grilled Chicken Capri panini and my husband got Turkey breast with cheese and ranch dressing . It was all so good. The service is out of this world . They're so nice and keep you informed when it's busy and always apologize for any delays and the ambiance is typical Italian style Deli. Ordered a "#9 Harbor Style" to go. The combo of the steakhouse bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato hard boiled egg and mayo on roll was very good! Don't think I've had ever had steakhouse bacon, but it's essentially thick and kinda tough ham that's super flavorful. Also never had a hard boiled egg on a sandwich that I can recall, and enjoyed. Good mixture of toppings for the Harbor Style. The portions were enormous. I was hungry and could only eat a little over half of the sandwich. It made for a second meal the following day. read more

Painfully slow and disorganized. Ordered by phone. Was given an estimate of 20 minutes. Showed up 25 minutes later and waited over 30 minutes for the order, which was missing one sandwich. Fortunately, I checked the order before leaving, then waited another 5 minutes for the missing sandwich. There is clearly not enough staff, and they don't have a systematic way of tracking orders. read more

Buyer beware: pickup orders thru Seamless need to be picked up at the other Harbor Deli location. When calling to complain about this, there was nothing they could do and that the order needed to be picked up at the other location. This is extremely misleading and the fact they couldn't even bother to fix this is a load of BS. It's obviously their fault that this issue exists, at least make my food there? If you aren't able to pick up at this location, fine, but at least take it off of dining platforms? Oh, and if you try to order in store, it takes forever. This has been a problem since Bayview. So the only option is to order online (which is glitched now and this deli doesn't seem to want to fix it) or order in store. Calling in is an option, but they basically make the sandwich there and you'll have to wait for all orders in - not worth it. Sandwiches are OK, nothing to write home about. But when I opened it, not to my surprise, a pretzel roll. Not the biggest thing in the world. But when every time you try to give Either of the Harbor delis a chance to get your order right, they manage to get it wrong. Almost every time. Every time. Something missing, something wrong, something not right. I would love if the food/service was consistent. And I'm not even saying ohh poor me, I want a refund, I'm just asking that when I pay 40 bucks for a couple sandwiches that they're at least to my liking. read more

What it has going for it: - plenty of parking - same great menu - Mario - plenty of seating - pricing on par with similar establishments What it has going against it: - nothing so far So I moved from the area 4 years ago.... what is amazing is how prices barely increased. Menu is mostly the same as I remember.... people should appreciate this place because outside of the NYC area they don't have delis exactly like this... they have sandwich shops were they would charge more and give you less... I've done only takeout. Ordered online and picked up on time. No issues - heroes are ginormous. I eat a lot and I stopped ordering it on a hero i need to ask for it on a roll so I don't waste food. The heroes can be two meals. The owner may be a biker as a number of heroes have motorcycle names My go to is 25 attacker. The staff has no personality and gives you no information on your order and timing. The staff is SLOW. If you order ANYTHING give them a VERY long time before you expect it to be ready whether you are there or ordered ahead. I go to TOO once a week or twice a week, since it opened. I work close by and its easy. I avoided the old place after to many times sitting in the old place waiting on line and having to leave without food. In the beginning it was just as bad , but I have been hoping it would get better. It has, but it still takes way longer than any deli I have ever been to! Be prepared to go to a different restaurant when ordering! Despite ordering at the Old Shore Road location (which is confirmed not only in email but text!) you have to travel to a different restaurant to actually pick up your food. Do they tell you beforehand? Nope! You have to get there and find out for yourself! Hopefully you have a car and don't have to walk to two different restaurants. Oh and does seamless care? Nope! Food is amazing, so really they have a great product. The food is unrivaled by any other local deli. Unfortunately, the service here is excruciatingly, painfully, unbearably slow. I can't say enough about how much the process here needs doctoring, as you can gather from the other reviews, this is really the truth. My fiancé and I ordered food almost 30 minutes in advance, we were given a 20 minute wait for food. It's now been almost an hour that we have been waiting for 2 sandwiches and iced coffee to be prepared. It's over 90 degrees out and it's absolutely brutal today, so we really wanted to grab food and get back home to eat comfortably. If I could give them 0 stars I would after my experience today and the last time I was there. Let me first start by saying that I love Harbor deli, the one on Main Street was my go to for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Harry, the owner is awesome. Always friendly which is more than I can say for a lot of the business owners in the area. They recently opened this location, which is walking distance from my work so it was an easier one to get to than the one on Main street. But after my last two experiences, I doubt I'll be back. The staff, minus the one latino fella, needs to be fired and or retrained. They either have 0 clue of what they are doing or are just flat out not interested in giving the customer a pleasant experience. Whenever I go, I more often than not order online that way I don't have to wait too long, well this morning I may as well have gone behind the counter and helped myself cause apparently the "gentleman" behind the counter wasn't interested in helping me. I walk in and there is literally one other customer waiting to be helped. The guy working the register sees me, pretends not to and goes about helping this other customer. That's fine, I assume once he's done with him, I'll be next to receive such focused service, right? Wrong. 3 ppl have since walked in, one lady only gets a coffee, throws her money on the counter, whatever, I paid that 0 attention. The one she's with, who has no concept of personal space btw, then tells the guy behind the counter, who still has yet to acknowledge me btw, that she placed an order online. You think he tells her that I'm next and he'll help her when I'm done? NOPE! That would be the right thing to do, so why do it? That's when I lost it, because this is the same guy who on my previous trip there ignored me to the point that the latino fella I mentioned earlier had to come from all the way down on the other end of the deli to ask me if I needed help. One thing I hate about this town is that if you don't look a certain way, they tend to treat you as if your money don't spend like everyone else's. So guess what? That's how you feel? I'll take my business elsewhere, although as slim as the pickings are in this town, who knows where that will be? Absolute worst customer service. Ordered a sandwich online to show up 45 minutes later to pick it up and it was not even made yet. The order sheet was still sitting in the fax machine. After waiting an additional 15 minutes for them to finally make my sandwich and my drinks they managed to mess up both of them. After driving all the way home they gave me two lemonades (not half and halfs that was made very clear on the online order) and forgot to put half of the ingredients on my sandwich (also made very clear on the online order). I will never go back to this deli. It is horribly ran and has terrible service. read more

This is far and away the worst deli I've ever been to. I have been going to the original Harbor Deli for years now and have no complaints. But I have zero clue how Harbor Deli Too remains in business. Today I called 45 mins ahead of time to order two wraps. The first time I called I was put on hold. After 8 mins of nobody checking with me, I hung up and called back. Immediately spoke to a different person who took my order right away (already bad communication there). They told me over the phone that my order would be ready in 15 mins. I show up 40 mins later after grocery shopping to find a line of people all waiting for pick up orders. My order (and the 5 people ahead of me) were ALL told that our orders were being worked on now...after some confusion amongst the workers who seemed to have no idea what orders we were talking about. After another 10-15 mins, I finally got my wraps. If this were the first time, I might have let it go but this is my 4th or 5th time trying this deli (first in about a year) and it is always the same story. The other reviews seem to speak for themselves as well. Absolutely pathetic service and workers. Could not recommend less. read more

My sister and I went in today, the staff was friendly and attentive. It didn't take long to receive the order. they went out of their way to accommodate our requests. had not been in a while (only because we went to Harbor Deli on Main) and it seems all the kinks from the first few weeks of opening have been ironed out. food was good will definitely frequent more often. I have always loved Harbor Deli since I was a kid. It is so much better that they have opened their second location. It is more convenient for me (distance and parking). It has only been open a couple months, so they are still getting the kinks out. The line is usually long, so I ALWAYS use the online pickup. Bring your sleeping bag and/ or a good book and maybe you'll have a sandwich waiting for you. My wife and I just waited 20+ minutes for a sandwich and a wrap just to find out the sandwich was given away to the customer before me. At about the 17 minute mark the guy who took our order said "just another minute" but my sandwich had walked out the door probably 5 minutes before that. Clearly just making things up and if he wasn't paying attention to our order, who was? Then after the situation unraveled, there was no offerings to remake the sandwich or anything to make the situation right. Just a bunch of blank staring hoping someone else would take the blame I guess. I get they just re-opened or whatever which was the excuse we got but the previous deli had the same issues they just have new paint and fancy TV's now. The only reason they'll stick around is because they're is no local competition.
