    Cobb Salad - 04/13/2026
    Natasha F.

Cobb salad was on point - very fresh blue cheese was delicious and so was the bacon - cream cheese bagel with lox was good my daughter didn't want to assemble it and asked for extra cream cheese! Good drinks orange juice, unsweetened iced tea and diet coke with ice . Always corteous food servers here - Very pricey though salads were $21 each bagel with lox over $17. I know they have to make a living and area lease is probably pricey but just to keep you in the know.

Each time I go to the Landmark Diner I am happy with my meal! It is a very large diner with two floors but usually seating is only on the first floor. Parking used to be difficult but the building next door is now vacant so parking is plentiful. Service was good - not necessarily friendly but he was attentive. It is a clean diner with ample seating, and fast service. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a traditional diner with many options on the menu.

We are going to do a quick update here as this diner certainly still holds up. Not as great as it was last time I went, but I would keep this diner as a full four star spot. Came here initially to dine myself and then was met by my dad. I was seated by the counter at one of the smaller booths, which is great because I love dining in this area usually. Shout out to the woman who actually sat at the counter and ordered a glass of Merlot at 11:25am on a Tuesday. Do we all need to get on her level? Went simple this time and got the cole slaw with pickles and a French onion soup. The cole slaw was solid and the pickles were pretty generic. The French onion soup left something to be desired. It was jammed pack with cheese, onion straws and bread, but it just lacked flavor. The French onion grilled cheese I had on an earlier visit was a lot better and I think that's what I was hoping for. Finally, this diner is on the corner of Searington Road and Northern Blvd. so it's a great spot to meet someone quick for a cup of coffee, or for lunch. Also not too far from St. Francis hospital where there is a lack of food options.

so many gluten free options!! i was so happily surprised to see gluten free breads and pancakes on the menu so had to get one as a side to my eggs, and it was pretty good! our waiter was extremely friendly and delivered our food fast. he never rushed us and had a very pleasant experience here. i've been here a number of times but now that i know of the gluten free options, i will be back more often!

Even by Long Island diner standards, Landmark has a huge menu. You'll definitely find something you want to eat and it will taste great. Service and ambiance are fine. What more can you ask for from a diner?

Very traditional American diner with very good food. The portions sizes are very large and the dishes simple yet delicious! I would recommend trying their French toast - it was extremely scrumptious and soaked with eggs. Each bite led to a flavour explosion with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Decent diner! Fun menu with interesting options and fun names. Generous portion. Relatively reasonable time for food to come out. Tasty, generous portion. Bathrooms needed a little sprucing. Service was fine.

Our chicken gyros were weak in the meat department & the pita was hard as a rock. One dish had more fries than the other and the worst part was the Greek salad which wasn't Greek! In our large Greek salad there was soft lettuce, about 6 olives, & a very small amount of feta. There was NO Peppers, red onion, grape vine leaves, no anchovies ,cucumbers, and instead of olive oil & red wine vinegar they gave me some creamy crap I didn't use. I mean where the hell was the oregano? The salad was terrible, & we only had about 5 chicken strips in the gyro. The service was average, & the place looked the same to me. Food was pretty lackluster even for a diner. Onion rings were ok, chicken tenders were like every other cheap restaurants. Ordered the Chinese pork roast sandwich and was a total disappointment. Also did not give extras like other diners do. Only saving grace was Banana Silver Dollar pancakes. They stick to their traditional roots and put real heart into their food. The home fries are seasoned to perfection--crispy on the edges with a soft, perfectly cooked interior. While the eggs on their own are standard, pairing them with their hollandaise, Canadian bacon and an English muffin turns it into an absolute home run. The real star, though, was the pecan banana bread buttermilk pancakes. I was initially worried it would just be a lazy sprinkling of pecans on top, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The pancakes were pillowy soft with banana chunks inside, and--the ultimate game-changer--served with WARM syrup. Something so simple, yet so rare! Hats off to the chef, owner, line cook. This easily beats any over-hyped "trendy" pancake spot out there. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

WE WERE OVERCHARGED TWICE BY $10! We ordered two omelets, and our check somehow came to $45 with no itemized breakdown. When we questioned it, our server--a petite brunette woman who appeared to be in her late 20s to early 30s--insisted it was correct. After we pushed back, she claimed she had confused our order with a different omelet. There isn't a single omelet on the menu that costs anywhere close to $22 each, and that excuse makes even less sense considering we were the only customers there. She adjusted the bill to $35, but the total should have been less than that as well. Even then, the tax was still wrong. On top of that, they added a credit card fee without any notice. There was no sign, no mention on the menu, and no warning beforehand. The food was just as disappointing. The home fries were mushy and barely edible. Despite overcharging us more than once, our server NEVER APOLOGIZED! Hidden fees, inaccurate charges, terrible service, and mediocre food--this place is a rip-off, and we definitely won't be back.

We've been there several times, and while not everything is amazing, the food is generally good and comforting. The star of the menu for me is the avocado toast - that's where they really get it right. The avocado toast is consistently fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly done every time. The pancakes are also very good: fluffy, tasty, and great for a weekend breakfast or brunch. One small thing that would make the experience even better is hot syrup. Warm syrup with those pancakes would take them to the next level. Service can be hit or miss depending on the day. On a previous visit, we had a server who dropped off the food and then basically disappeared until it was time for the check, which was disappointing. On our most recent visit, though, our server was the complete opposite: very attentive, friendly, and professional. It really made a difference in how much we enjoyed the meal. When we arrived this time, there was a line, but since there were only two of us and a table had just opened up, we were seated right away. That was a nice surprise and helped start the visit on a good note. All in all, Floral Park Diner is a nice local place, especially for breakfast or brunch. The food is good diner fare, some dishes shine more than others, and when the service is "on," it's a very pleasant experience.
