Love this place! I'm glad they finally opened up a location closer to me. Parma Heights is a bit too far! The store is in a great location, less than a mile from I-480. The layout is good and everything is easy to find . It's a pretty good sized store, maybe a tad bigger than the Parma Heights store. The employees are friendly and checkout is quick for the most part. They do need to check on the quality of some of their products though. For instance, I bought the Mechanic's Roller Seat, http://www.harborfreight.com/mechanics-roller-seat-3338.html and the threads on one of the screws was messed up so I couldn't put on one of the casters. I went to exchange it for another and I put it together and sat on it to work on my car, and 1 of the casters broke off and onto the ground I went! It supposedly has a 250lb weight capacity and I weigh 183lbs...Piece of junk! Or maybe I just bought a lemon because there are some good reviews on the website. Who knows. I returned it and got my money back. Their floor jacks and jack stands are fantastic though! Never buy anything without a coupon! They usually have 20% coupons and sometimes 25% off. love harbor freight this incident will not stop me from shopping there. I called on the phone and the employee told me he didn't have pipe taps. Harbor freight has everything in tools. I couldnt believe they didn't so I stopped at the store and asked again , same thing, but he turned around to find the manager. Manager gave us an isle. , sure enough you had 2 or 3 different sets of taps. I went up to ring it out and the same Store manager was there. I told him he should inform his employees to not say you don't have something until they check. The manager said not to tell him what to tell his employees. I said I was just trying to help. I could spend all day in this store. It's got so much to purchase. Now my wallet says otherwise. The staff always greets me as I walk in. The shelves are normally fully stocked. I very rarely have to ask for assistance. But when I do. The staff knows where the product is that I'm looking for. read more

I went in just to pick up a socket set and when I asked the manager how to get them off the package since they were supposedly theft proof she didn't give me answer accept its that way so nobody steals them. I understand that, but when I got home I could not get them off the device they were permanently attached too, and there are no instructions on how to get them off. I'm just going to return them and never use this location again. What a horrible experience for people who are not mechanically gifted!!! As a new homeowner ya find ya need random stuff ya don't normally need when you rent. Kinda sucks but fun at the same time. This is the closest one to the crib so we come here once and a while. Its also right down the street from Fatheads so beers after shopping ease the pain. Pretty easy to find stuff and the coupons for this place make it a great deal. Store does not honor coupons. An item sold out but when the manager was asked if a substitute could be made he refused. Made no attempt to help or try keep me as a customer. The cashier was also clueless about what to do. I have found the merchandise is of questionable quality. You get what you pay for. read more

Not a bad place to grab some tools when you are in a pinch but cheap isn't always better. Most, if not everything, is made in China. It seems to me that the checkout lines have gotten worse. Last time I was in there, to get a tarp for leaf removal, I waited in line for 15 minutes because the persons' name wasn't coming up in the system, etc.... Huuuuuge pain in the ass. Then when I go to pay and the dude wants my number or whatever to look me up in the system I tell him no dude, I need to get this tarp and get these leaves out STAT as I was losing sunlight rapidly. He informs me and the many other displeased customers waiting to check out that they will get written up if they don't enter the persons' info. People that are doing projects don't have time for this nonsense. Either have plenty of lanes open for checkouts during peak seasons or get rid of keeping track of your customers purchases. read more

Great variety of tools. The tool quality is good for a home owner or light duty home mechanic. I would not recommend the tools for a professional mechanic or machinist. Most, if not all of the tools are made in China. If you know what you are looking for and know what you are buying then you will be good.
