We hit Harbor Town Pub for breakfast because of good Yelp reviews. The pub only serves breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays. The Pub is colorful and interesting vibe inside. Sport knickknacks and service badges cover every surface. TV monitors played soccer championship games. A large game-room offers pool, electronic games and pinball. Indoor and outdoor seating are available and dogs are welcome. Rock music played in the background. I ordered a Linguica Scramble, which was a mix of tomatoes, cheese, spicy sausage, scallions and cilantro scrambled with eggs and topped with fried tortilla strips. The egg mix was accompanied by a generous portion of delicious crispy hash browns. The sausage was a bit spicy hot. My breakfast was hearty and delicious. My brother had a Breakfast Burrito filled with eggs, French fries, avocado, cheese and bacon. The burrito was hearty and he said it was delicious. Nina, our server, was amazingly upbeat for early morning breakfast. She made an effort to learn my name and introduce herself. She called me by name the duration of my meal. Food came out quickly. The bar is interesting and fun with regulars stopping in for breakfast and an eye opener. There is nearby free street parking. We walked.

    Jameson...Friday cheers!

Harbor Town Pub in Point Loma is one of the places my friend likes to go to because it's casual, offers food/drinks, tv monitors throughout and music blasting so loud you can't have a conversation which is perfect since he's not there to talk. The place is dark, dank but looks clean enough approachable. There's a room with arcade games which attracts adults and children. This pub is also dog friendly. All the female staffers are not friendly and not helpful, despite the fact my friend is a regular..is NOT good service. The polar opposite effect from the male staffers who are friendly helpful and cool. There's limited spaces at the back for free parking. After parking and upon entry from the back door, you order and prepay for your drink and food from the counter before finding a place to sit. The staffers will bring your food and drink, no table service after that if you're in a booth. Service at the bar isn't any better since the one bartender seems to get overwhelmed and service falters :( My friend is a typical swm: single white male who likes beer, whiskey and bar food to his health detriment. He finds this place tolerable and it's one of his hangouts. This pub can be considered a dive to some or just a cool get away pub for others. The menu does have some edible foods: Brussel Sprouts, Fries and Poke nachos all of which I've tried, when I had a minute to seat and stay. My friend has tried nearly everything on the menu but his favorite are the burgers and the fish and chips. Good service is sadly inconsistent but Harbor Town Pub has been here for years and it's a community anchor located close to the harbor. Caveat emptor!

Came on a Wednesday before noon, which happened to be the opening day of the World Cup. They were showing the Mexico game, and the staff was nice enough to turn on the sound after many of us customers requested it. The FIFA vibes were definitely on. Our drinks were good, and the BBQ pork nachos were so flavorful that we couldn't stop talking about them after we left. The service was excellent that afternoon. We decided to come back later that evening to watch the night match. It was a different crew--still friendly, but less attentive during dinner service. We ordered the nachos again, and they were just as delicious. One downside was that there was no sound for any of the games (the Stanley Cup Final, FIFA, or MLB). Instead, random music was playing throughout the restaurant. They also host Bingo on Thursdays, which was a lot of fun. Would come back during lunch!! Came on the Wednesday before noon that was the start of the World Cup. They showed the Mexico game and the staff was nice enough to turn on the sound as a lot of us customers asked. Did somebody say Happy Hour?!!!!! HTP never fails, and my recent visit was more of the same. The music is always bangin', the food is always delicious, and the crew is supremely awesome. Here you'll find delicious burgers, fresh salads, and beautiful fish (relying on my +1's for that part). Came out for an afternoon lunch that ended up spilling into a beautiful Thursday happy hour, 3pm-6pm, experience. For lunch, I enjoyed a spectacular, juicy, and deftly seasoned burger with chopped bacon, pickled jalapeño, and you guessed it, BLUE CHEESE BABY! This 1/3 lb burger, $15.95, was thick, cooked to perfection (the standard is medium so if you don't like medium just tell them your preference), and served with beautifully crispy fries. I'm more of a 1/2 lb burger man, so I should have added an additional patty for about $5-6, but I still had my fill. But as lunch waned on, happy hour kicked up the excitement with a straight plinko style showcase that included a recurring drumroll and a rotating highlight of a different special every 30 minutes. Let's gooo! This created a vibrant shift away from my delicious, yet dwindling burger. Can you say $3 whiskeys, with a $2 upcharge to make it an Old Fashion? Or how about $3 Pacificos, or $5 Moscow Mules? Each of which were one of the highlighted specials during the 6-30 minute specials during happy hour. Accidentally or otherwise, I indulged in several, whilst making new friends at the bar-Heyyy Grant and Claire! I really enjoy this kind of happy hour experience and they definitely knock it out of the park with this one. Shout out to bartenders BEN and NINA who not only provided 5 star service, but consistently kept the vibes on 10! Did I mention they play good music hear, from older hits to hip-hop classics, I often find myself singing along to hits from yesteryear. I didn't play any games, but they've recently expanded with even more games and seating. If you're into to pinball or those pop-a-shot type basketball games, this might be your go to spot for food, drinks, and fun. Many thanks to the cast and crew at HTP! You guys rock! Note: If you like Waterfront in LIttle Italy or The Hills in La Mesa, you'll be happy to know they're all under the same ownership and share a some similarities. Enjoy!

Ari and Ben thank you so so much for your service!! This place has a great ambiance, and is a place to kick back. They have amazing frozen margaritas and burgers. Thank you for the good laughs, we enjoyed your vibes!! You guys are wonderful and deserve a shoutout for being great at what you guys do. Definitely check this place out!!

Great food and drinks! As soon as you walk in the energy is great. Everyone's having a great time. Beer is cold. Food is hot. What else do you need

This place was such a pleasant surprise! Completely unassuming from the outside but right when you walk in you're welcomed by the fun decor, great energy, plenty of games, and tons of TVs. You order at the window and they bring your food to you. We shared the wings and I got the Chinese chicken salad. Both were good but I would probably try different things next time. The waffle fries looked really good I was eyeing the persons food next to me. Will definitely be back again!

Garlic Fries and Jalapeño Bacon Burger
    Joey E.

Gotta admit that the food here always hits the spot each time I come in here. You really can't go wrong with whatever is on their menu as each item is flavorful. I got the Jalapeno Burger and a side of garlic fries, if you're a fan of that you already know what you'e getting yourself into. We also got the Cali Burrito which the meat was highly bomb.com Super cool vibe, friendly staff and food came out in a timely manner. Will for sure be back.

    Ahi Tuna Salad
    C M.

Servers here are always nice, so that goes a long way when considering returning. I've eaten here 4 times over the years, and it's always good, and at times excellent. It's got a few TVs playing whatever sports are on, an arcade that's connected, and the the generally rock/pop/90's music dialed up, so if your a sensory overstimulation-type, just go outside. Tables are small on the patio, so not sure about large parties, but perfectly fine for 4 or less. I am going to keep watching the health inspection reports here in Yelp though... they are trending down over time and 90/100 is pushing my comfort level. That said, it appeared clean and' the food was fresh, so I'm hoping inspectors see things differently next time!

Jalapeno Bacon Burger and Sweet Potato Fries!!
    Evangelia G.

This place is fun!!! Firstly, they have a popcorn machine and you can serve yourself popcorn, so I was already very happy. Full bar, and the food is SO good. We were a big group so the pics are just what my friend and I shared. Ahi Tuna Tostada- they give you a good amount of Ahi and it was very good and fresh! Buffalo Cauliflower bites - super tasty! Jalapeño Bacon Burger w sweet potato fries- easily 9/10. A little salty but sooooo tasty and the perfect amount of spice. Will def be going back, and will actually try to place some arcade games lol ALSO they give the ENTIRE bar a round of shots. Big win

Great beer, vibe, arcades and staff. We came here on a Sunday for the arcade and enjoyed a couple drinks and some really tasty food.

    Great atmosphere!

Best pub grub in SD The Spicy Chicken the best anywhere I get the Argentinian, which is a lightly marinated steak with arugula, cheese and chimichurri sauce. Super good. They're hamburgers are among the best in San Diego. This place definitely knows how to make pub grub.

Beets, Brussels, Bleu cheese salad, absolutely delicious.

Picked up food to go tonight and was wonderfully pleased by the filet o awesome sandwich that I got as a lettuce wrap, garlic fries, and beet, Brussels sprouts and blue cheese salad. Everything was really delicious and it was blessedly quiet in there. The lady that helped me was amazingly friendly and positive also as it seems they almost always are these days.. I really appreciate that.

Instead of simply assigning us a table, she went above and beyond by letting us choose the one we liked. Her attitude was warm, welcoming, and set the tone for what we hoped would be a great brunch. Unfortunately, our server, Conner, wasn't as welcoming. We upgraded to the bottomless mimosas, but every refill required us to flag her down. My brother and I each had around four mimosas, and not a single refill was offered proactively. It honestly felt like every pour was being rationed, as if the bottles were coming out of her own pocket instead of being part of the service we had already paid for. The most disappointing moment came when I flagged her down for one final refill. She told me, "I'm sorry, bottomless mimosas end at 3:00." I looked at the time...it was 3:02 p.m. After spending the entire meal chasing our server for refills, being denied over a two minute difference felt incredibly petty and left a bad impression. Because of the level of service, I chose not to tip waitress Conner. Instead, I gave my tip to the hostess and Mrs. Danielle because that's who genuinely elevated our experience. What surprised me most was Conner's reaction after noticing this, rather than handling it professionally, she visibly became upset, creating an awkward ending to what should have been a relaxing brunch. Literal tantrum. In public. Mrs. Danielle immediately stepped in, apologized, and handled the situation with professionalism and grace. She completely salvaged the experience, and she's the reason we'll be willing to come back. The view was BEAUTIFUL. I hope management recognizes how valuable employees like the hostess & Mrs. Danielle are. At the same time, I hope Conner receives coaching on attentive service and professionalism, because the contrast between the two was impossible to miss. As someone is the service department, those two minutes were negligible.

The first time I just stopped for a quick pre-flight beer. They have solid choices and I was pleasantly surprised that their hazy was delicious. I believe it was a Sierra Nevada beer. Service was great and kind my first visit. The second time I came here I definitely needed a bite to eat after a packed morning and had a hard time choosing what I wanted, but I went with the Tortilla Soup. I gotta say I definitely chose wrong. The flavor was decent, but the soup was incredibly watery and for some reason I expected there to be chicken but it was literally just broth. Thankfully I paid extra for avocado for some added calories, but paying like $15+ for a bowl of just broth is crazy work. Again, it wasn't awful in taste, but the quality of the dish in general could've been much better. Drink choices were still on point and I sat in the same spot as my previous visit which was comfortable and had an outlet for me to charge my phone. For that soup, 5 stars is kind of high. But the saving grace was the bartender/waiter I had the second time. We had great conversation and he was incredibly nice - I think his name was Peter! Halfway through my beer he slid me a notebook and I asked what it was and he told me "whenever I get a cool vibe from someone I offer up this guest notebook for them to share whatever they wanna share." I read through past entries of people sharing where they were coming from, where they were going. Funny entries, sweet entries, you name it. I felt seriously so honored to be "picked" to share something in this fun little journal that connects a lot of strangers. It just goes to show small acts of kindness like that go a long way. Peter deserves a raise, and Prado will always be my stop because of him (and next time I won't get the soup tbh).

Or friend Josh is a talker so thank you for chatting with him beyond his order lol As usual after a long workout, you want to enrich your body with something healthy. I have eaten at this establishment before and remembered how tasty the meal was. I ordered the Seabass with the seasonal veggies. The flavors were all there perfectly cooked perfectly seasoned. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it. My husband ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich I took a bite and it was yummy as well. Our food was brought out in a timely fashion, and Annie surprised us with some freshly baked cookies. We really appreciate the kind gesture. The restaurant offers indoor seating and outdoor seating on a large patio. lots of umbrellas to cover you from the San Diego sun. The inside and outdoor area were clean. Bathrooms are available inside. Street parking alongside the courtyard and parking lots as well. These are the human moments that make you continue coming to an establishment. Thank you tender green staff for such a lovely experience. We will be back soon. I would highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

We ordered sea bass with roasted vegetables with Sushi rice. Chipotle chicken with Caesar salad and roasted potatoes. They have changed the recipe with the potatoes and I wouldn't recommend it. They were flavorless and had chili pepper flakes also dry. For dessert chocolate chip cookie and a carrot cake. These are always good.

The lunch special is a good deal: burger, fries and a drink for $14. Didn't go on a Sunday BUT they have tons of tv's for your NFL team. They are technically a Detroit lions bar, so if you've got grit, this is your place. Family friendly and convenient location in liberty station which used to be the old Navy boot camp back in the day. Maria is attentive and funny. She's the best. Would recommend for anyone visiting.

This place is stacked with TVs so perfect for football games too. We came on a Saturday and it was a tad busy so should there be games definitely come early. We shared their 50/50 burger. Fries were great and the burger was solid. They have numerous beers on tap. I like ciders and they had some of those too. The real winner looks like their brunch. 1 dollar mimosas with a purchase of an entree. Special shout out to Ryan who was doing double duty by both bartending and serving. He was super attentive to each table and wanted to ensure everyone was having a good time. It's right by a parking lot which is helpful. All in all a solid restaurant/bar to watch the game. Their patio is also dog friendly.
