Looking for a elevated dining experience that is also very laid back? Harbor side is a place to stop by. The food is fresh, and well prepared. The service is a little timely, but when they get to your table are attentive and friendly. Check their specials, I tried the Cajun snapper and it was delightful! The coconut shrimp is also a well hitter. But the Oreo cheesecake took it home. The waterfront views are breathtaking. There are also boat tours / dinner boat tours available so looking forward to checking that out in the future! Highly recommend stopping by this gem of a spot. Their Playlist is also great, 80s rock/pop, they really know how to set the tone for comfort and quality. I will also be back to try one of their boozy Fishbowls.

Another one of my favorite places to go to when I am in Winter Haven! The most recent time I went I tried the lobster roll and it was incredible! I wanted another one it was so good but I knew I wouldn't get through it. The wait staff is always incredibly friendly and does a great job of checking in with you. They have 2 different areas where you can sit outside by the lake and it's wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit back here!

The restaurant was busy so service was a bit slow but the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful., We sat by a large glass window overlooking the lake. It was our Florida Christmas with our grandson and it couldn't have gone better.

    Magnificent view off the pier.

Only perk to this restaurant was the view at sunset. The hostess was rude, the food was mediocre and the ambience reminded me of an old folk's home.

Fake flowers just looked cheap. But that view!!!!

We tried this restaurant because the views and the menu looked amazing. Immediately we were disappointed when our waitress came over, took our drink order, and turned around and left. No introduction. No specials listed. She brought water and our drinks in a timely manner. We ordered. She brought out some stale bread and tasteless butter. Well, this was not a good start.... I ordered white fish and shrimp. The shrimp were so overcooked. The whitefish wasn't bad. Onion rings were good. Presentation was lacking for what seemed like a nice restaurant. My husband had the filet and loved it, as well as the chipotle pineapple margarita! The manager was present checking on tables. The Overall, I wouldn't come back. Service was lacking and unfriendly, food sub par. I'm sure at one time this place was amazing!

Took my family of four to Harborside and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious--we tried the gator bites, calamari, and pasta, and everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The views are absolutely stunning and really added to the overall experience. Our server, Somer, was great! Great food, great atmosphere--we'll definitely be back!

Lovely outdoor view of a lake. The clam chowder was OK, I've had better. Unfortunately while my steak was cooked beautifully to perfection at medium rare, it was unfortunately doused with waaay too much salt. The fish sandwich was good and plentiful. Service was excellent.

We were here celebrating my son's birthday with a party of eight. When we first sat down, we were not given menus so eventually, I just went to the hostess stand and got them myself. Our server was attentive, but it seemed to take a while to get our drinks. My sangria was probably the best sangria I've ever had. It was just light, fruity and just hit right. My mahi tacos were flavorful. Several of our party had steaks which were cooked just right. The big catch fish sandwich was delicious as well as the grouper sandwich. The french fries were exceptionally crispy and tasty. When we first got there, it was a little difficult to hear each other because the acoustics are not good. But as people left the restaurant, it was better. The views at Harborside are breathtaking. The food is good. The service was just kind of haphazard, but Santa was there.

Great location, views and staff. Food was flavorful and came out quickly, well priced with great drinks. Lauren was our waitress and she was attentive, personable and friendly. Would absolutely go back again.

I am lactose intolerant so always look for vegan choices as they are safe for me to eat and I don't recall seeing any.

They were steadily busy throughout the evening so a wait is possible if you were to arrive at peak time. The setting is casual and in an old house- hence the name. If you ask to be seated in the back room, you'll have a view of the lake. The servers were very friendly and efficient. Food and drinks were prompt! We shared the onion loaf to start and had a variety of dishes around the table from steak, lobster tails, grouper, scallops, and the multitude of accompaniments. Everything was cooked beautifully! Especially the scallops. That was probably my favorite since they melted like butter in the mouth. I also enjoyed the hush puppies that were served with every main dish. Bonus points for the fact that many of the dressings and sauces are made in house. Since it was an occasion, we had some chocolate cake for dessert which didn't disappoint. The cake was rich and fudgy. My dad is a regular so I am definitely sold. The man is a critic and if he is impressed, I know something must be good! From the time I was seated, to my waiter (Matthew) service and talking to the owner (Ray). Being from The Villages area, my friend & I like to visit restaurants that are not in our area; usually we go to lunch. My friend got the Chicken Parm & the piece of Chicken was huge & very tender. My choice was the Italian Deli Sandwich which was very yummy. I am a travel agent who does many local bus trips & I am planning on bringing a group of 34 ladies to this establishment. Before I got home, Hailey (Ray's wife) already sent me several group menus. I was very impressed with how quickly Hailey responded. FYI - I did not make a reservation so Ray did not know I was coming over ahead to time. They just treated me like anyone else. I would highly recommend this restaurant for you personal pleasure but also if you have a group who would like to go somewhere different. When you walk in the ambiance is like an upscale place but the pricing is great and compares to other eateries. So do your self a favor & give them a try. You won't regret it.

We were seated in the back room for a birthday dinner celebration. The room was extremely dark and we couldn't turn on the other lights because it was connected to the most dustiest ceiling fans that had at least 1/4 of an inch thick of dust. The woman who was coming in and out of the room to pour water in the water glasses had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. I asked her a question about the menu and she very dryly told me "you can't order that unless you are on the other side" then walked away. That's when I was inquiring about the bistro menu. At that point I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat anything there due to their lack of plant based items or even easily adjustable items so I just ate the bruschetta. However when we placed the order for the bruschetta it never came out. So once we asked about it, it was then comped and brought out. Our waiter was very irritated and annoyed it seemed with the large party he had to tend to but his assistant which was a younger more personable guy was way more pleasant to be around. The cost point for the food was beyond the taste and size of the portions. When I asked about kid options, the waiter told me he could have the chef make a kids steak or chicken tenders and fries. It was my mistake for not asking for the price since I assumed it was a kids portion. Granted the tiniest steak did come out I still had to pay over $24 which I would have purchased the regular adult size if that was the case. So some clarity on the menu options for the kids would have been greatly appreciated. I can go on and on about this place but ultimately I would recommend not to go here unless you don't care about customer service or price points. Upon leaving the family event, and getting home I then realized my debit card was never returned to me by our gracious waiter. So once we returned to retrieve the card another day we were greeted with the rudest and most annoyed individuals at the host station. Needless to say we will never ever return.

The outside patio is beautifully decorated with lights, tables and chairs and greenery with foliage to create that natural outdoor vibe. When you enter, it's like walking into a small home where you greeted and seated by a hostess or server. There's a main great room and 2 smaller rooms that have seating as well and ambiance lighting throughout for intimate gatherings. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with necessities. As for the food, I got the Brussel sprouts salad without goat cheese which was delicious . It was about the size of my fist for $13. I assumed it was more of a tasting menu. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. This place is absolute paradise for my Lego loving child. It's pirate themed and has epic Lego creations. My son loves the area where kids can play with Legos and it's nice for the parents too as it gives them a break. The food is served family style and you get a lot of bang for your buck as you can reorder as many things as you'd like. We chose the Pirate Platter which includes: a delicious salad with apples and pecan and honey bread upfront, then a platter of assorted meats such as brisket, steak, sausage, chicken, and ribs. The brisket is our favorite. It comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I really wanted to try some of the vegan platter so they brought that out for me at no extra charge. For dessert, we got a pan cookie with ice cream as well as the vegan chocolate fondue with fruits and marsh mallows. All of this unlimited for only $39 per adult and $19 per child with drinks included. Delicious and such a fun dinner experience! Since I stayed at the hotel, I also came here for breakfast as it is included in the stay. Breakfast is the same across all three Legoland hotels. It's also served family style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, French toast or pancakes. You can add fruits, yoghurts, cereal, oatmeal at no up charge. And it also includes drinks such as coffee, milks, juices, etc. The staff was very accommodating about letting me take things to go and ordering extra stuff.

Older lady, you can tell she's been around as a waitress for a while. Kind of reminds me of like the old diner waitresses "What are you having" lol. Anyway, she was awesome. She let us pick off both options. We ordered the pirate one which is BBQ choices and we got some of the sea dog options for the seafood side. So sweet. We first got our bread. It was good. Tasted like a yeast bread. Came oiled and with sweet butter. It also came with a salad as well for the table which had cheese, tomatoes onion and greens. The salad dressing was light and sweet. The main food came. It came with ribs, flank steak, pulled pork, brisket, beans, string beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sausage, and shrimp. 3 sauces came with it, regular bbq, mango bbq and mustard. The mango bbq had real mango in it. Now, preface by saying I understand this isn't a 5 star Michelin chef meal and I wasn't expecting much. However, this was actually very good. The steak was very good. Not dry. The brisket was good. The ribs were good not dry. The pulled pork was dry. The salmon was good, The shrimp was good, Sausage was good, the string beans were ok, the macaroni was very heavy but good and the mashed potatoes were good. Overall I was very impressed. Then for dessert came our chocolate chip covered ice cream with heath bar bits. So very fattening.
