Really good food with the exception of the flank steak, which was a little overdone. Sides were delicious. Service was fantastic. Ambience was what you expected to be in a pirate theme hotel.

Five stars for dinner, two for breakfast so I'm rounding it to four stars. One of my favorite parts of this play is there is a play den with legos so when the kids get bored waiting for dinner you can send them there. I wish every restaurant had this. Dinner is family style where supposedly you can choose one of three options, but since I don't eat pork they told us that we could substitute in anything we wanted. That's how we ended up with brisket, flank steak, shrimp and rotisserie chicken. Our friends were able to add sides of meat to their option so it seems like the entire menu is fair game under the price. The starter salad was excellent and I loved the bread, even though I was trying not to fill up on carbs before the main dish. The brisket was super fatty and I absolutely loved it. I'm still thinking about that brisket. The shrimp was a family favorite and my husband is still thinking about the shrimp. We also got chicken tenders and fries on the side for the kids. I loved the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I also really liked their mushroom sauce. The rice was just ok and I could have done without the baked beans. The dessert, which was a cookie with ice cream was also very good. If you tell them you're celebrating a birthday they'll bring a candle. Even though they gave my son a birthday button our server didn't know he was celebrating his birthday until we told him, so don't assume just because you have a button that they know. On the other hand, breakfast was pretty bad. It comes free with the room or else I'd never pay for that. The eggs were overcooked, the breakfast potatoes were pretty dry, the vegetarian sausage was bad, really the only good things were the biscuit and the french toast sticks. The coffee was also very acidic. However, our server was amazing. I wish I got her name, but she was a wealth of knowledge about the parks. We got there between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and didn't have to wait. However I noticed starting around 8:30 a.m. that a line starts to form. By 9 a.m. it's pretty long. I liked this restaurant and how convenient it is when you're staying here. The pirate theming is top notch, I love the look of the place.

I LOVE this restaurant. The staff is sooooo friendly and amazing. The cook was amazing at jotting down and asking about our allergies and being super conscious of them. I'm so grateful staff cares so much about children. I appreciate this place so much that I will be back. The ambiance was great and the kids always had a place to play. 10/10

We had breakfast here during our stay at Legoland. This place is pirate themed and even has a room in the middle with legos to play with. The presentation was good and we had a friendly server. The food was yummy and everyone in the family was happy!

We went here for dinner one night and breakfast another. Great service and over the top with the experience and decoration. All to be expected with Legoland. What was unexpected was the food. Both experiences were great! We are plant based so I was a bit concerned on how it would go. We told the server at dinner and they prepared a whole family style meal all plant based. We got fresh bread and salad. Our server did miss that there was cheese on the salad but no big deal as we had plenty of food coming. The platter had tofu and broccoli, potatoes, mac n cheese, cauliflower, green beans, vegan meatloaf, and pot stickers. Dessert was vegan chocolate fondue with fruit and marshmallows. Everything was great and all vegan! We also enjoyed some white wine and our son liked the pirate bandanas at the table and kids Lego area within the restaurant. We went to both the main hotel restaurant and shipwreck for breakfast during our stay. Both were really good! I enjoyed the fact that the chef came to our table twice at shipwreck to check that everything was good. I think cooking the plant based platter was a welcomed change/challenge. Shipwreck served us toast, vegan sausage, just egg, and lots of sautéed veggies. We had fresh fruit before that. We saw another table order small cartons of silk almond milk. Would have loved to have known that was an option earlier in our stay.

We came here for my son's 5th birthday. They made everything special! So much food! It was a family style dinning. So you choose the meats you want and you can get unlimited side dishes. We actually had some that we took as leftovers and the kids ate it the next day in the park for lunch! We went with the "Pirate Platter" which was more BBQ meats but we asked if we could sub the ribs for shrimp and they did it. In the restaurant too they also have a kids building area while you wait on your food. As you can see I have a very happy 5 yr old and 1yr :)

Legoland Shipwreck Restaurant is located inside the Legoland Hotel, specifically the Pirate Legoland hotel area in Florida. Easily, one of the best breakfast family style service I've had. The breakfast platter consists of a variety of breakfast options. When we had breakfast one of the mornings, it included waffles, biscuits/gravy, banana, sausage, bacon, and eggs. This is unlimited! You can get refills whenever you need, all you have to do is put in a request. Each morning, the breakfast platter will change, sometimes they'll put pancakes instead. Free refills on drinks. You're provided initially with orange juice and water, but you can ask for other selections such as soda. I really enjoyed eating at the Legoland Shipwreck. It was one of the best experiences I've had at the Legoland properties. The service was absolutely outstanding. The team members were constantly visiting our table, asking if we needed anything. The wait-time each morning wasn't too bad, approximately 30 minutes. I'd recommend coming and eating earlier before the theme parks open if you can. Legoland Shipwreck restaurant opens as early as 7 a.m. Scheduling can be a little difficult, especially if you wait around 9:00 A.M to book a reservation. I saw wait times would increase by 1+ hour around 9:00 A.M on a summer weekend.

    Starter salad

your served 3 courses family style . The salad has sliced almonds , cranberries & sliced apples in it & was very good . Your main course is a choice of 3 different platters which you can customize & the portions are plentiful, you can also request more of anything & take home leftovers . Dessert had 2 choices , we had the chocolate fondue with strawberries, marshmallows & bananas & added 2 decadent brownies . Expect noise this is a kids place after all , there is a Lego play room & the place is decorated on point to pirate decor

Legoland has improved their vegan options dramatically since our last visit 3 years ago. The crown jewel of these improvements is at the Shipwreck Restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner there 3 days in a row because of the great options for our plant based family. They were also able to accommodate a gluten and quinoa allergy as well. For breakfast they had fruit, vegan just eggs, gf vegan pancakes, gf fried potato cubes, gf spinach/mushroom/pepper/onion hash, gf vegan sausage, tomato based sauce, toast, vegan butter, soy and almond milk. For dinner they had a great salad (no cheese), gf vegan loaf (no teriyaki sauce for gf), gf fries, gf vegan Mac n Cheeze, gf vegan baby potatoes, teriyaki tofu with broccoli (not gf), veggie potstickers, gf vegan baked beans (REALLY good), green beans, gf cauliflower steaks, vegan cornbread. Plant based desert was not good but, the kids were so stuffed they didn't seem to mind skipping it. Tips: Make a reservation for dinner. We ate around 6:30 every night with very little wait to be seated. If it rains, go early to minimize your wait. They open at 5pm. The later it gets the busier they got. Plant based food is cooked to order so expect to wait a little extra to have it prepared as compared to the other menu items that are ready to serve on arrival. Allocate about an hour for dinner. They open at 7am for breakfast. No reservations. Plant based food is cooked to order so expect to wait a little extra to have it prepared as compared to the other menu items that are ready to serve on arrival. Allocate about an hour for breakfast. The park itself still needs some additional options for vegan dining but I highly recommend Shipwreck as well as Victor & Mika's Vegan Bakery and Cafe (about 10 minutes from the park).

Ask the Community - Legoland Shipwreck Restaurant

Does anyone know if Shipwreck serves alcohol? Hard to find an answer online. Thanks!

    They have beer and wine!

This seems like a lot of food! Is the cost per person? Is the cost different for an adult versus a child?

It is a lot of food and it is per person. The price is different for children. There is a pic currently two months old of the menu/sign out front that says 36 oer adult and 15 per child.

How do I make reservations? Tried open table did not find it at all or any LEGOLAND restaurants?

We made them at the front desk a day or so after we checked in. I would suggest doing it as soon as you arrive!

These fine folks are 35 miles from my casa and off the beaten track for me. I was in the area for another reason, and they were calling me. Arriving- their address is 5th Street but think Route 17. The parking lot is fine and there are some solid handicapped spots. Ambience- You enter through the outside patio. It's very nice and shaded but you're still going to be eating with cars whizzing by. That's never been an attraction for me. Inside has got a 50s vibe. Everything is spotless. You see the buffet almost immediately. There is a semi-open kitchen in that you can see part of it from some seats. The menus are laminated to the tables. The men's bathroom was spotless. Customer Service- Maybe 8 stars! Just awesome! My drink arrived within seconds of sitting down. My order was taken within seconds of when I was ready. I was checked on appropriately. My bill was on the table, and you pay the cashier when you leave. Nothing but good stuff to say. Food- Standard American menu with no big surprises. When I try a new place for breakfast, I always get an omelet. This time it was a Meatlovers with potatoes and a biscuit @ $11.99. The omelet was 4 eggs which is a little unusual. I was asked if I wanted my home fries cooked on the grill or deep-fried. That was something new! I choose deep fried. Everything was out quickly. My biscuit (not pictured) was warm and soft. My omelet was just fine. An average amount of meat and cheese and cooked nicely. It didn't seem like a four-egg omelet. Just the usual three. I could get this omelet anywhere and that's not necessarily a bad thing. OMG the deep-fried home fries! Did you see my picture? These are not from a bag but homemade. They were piping hot and just damn amazing! I never had anything like them, and they'll be in my dreams tonight. So, my breakfast with excellent service was easily a four-star experience. I can't speak to their lunch. Their average on Yelp is 4.3 which I think is justified. Give them a try!

The outside patio is beautifully decorated with lights, tables and chairs and greenery with foliage to create that natural outdoor vibe. When you enter, it's like walking into a small home where you greeted and seated by a hostess or server. There's a main great room and 2 smaller rooms that have seating as well and ambiance lighting throughout for intimate gatherings. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with necessities. As for the food, I got the Brussel sprouts salad without goat cheese which was delicious . It was about the size of my fist for $13. I assumed it was more of a tasting menu. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. Last but not least, Beth our server was kind and sweet. She was patient and very accommodating with great table manner and should certainly be recognized for her gracious nature and hospitality.

You will notice young girls working here and I am assuming the owner is a italian or greek lady calling shots when a booth needs a server or cleanup etc. This is a cheap place to get diner style food and some of the burger baskets meaning burger no cheese with fries (no drink) start at $6.95 So here for ice cream - Started with a small cup of 1/2 and 1/2 maple walnut with rocky road. They go by cup on ice cream and not scoops. So a small cup they can give you 2 flavors if you want. I take advantage of this so I can try the array of favors that they do offer. The spcial flavors today was Key lime and Pistachio but they sold out. The other small cup was their homemade fruit sherbet which I chose watermelon and 1/2 coconut ice cream. So the ice creams were ok. The coconut stood out the most. The watermelon sherbet was refreshing but tad too sweet for me. I would probably go for the coconut again because it had shreds of coconut in it. Ordered the Chili Cheese Fries and for $4.95 it was a large amount very cheesey and full of chili with beans however it needed more salt to taste. I would def order this again. Tap water even with lemon still tasted "tap" so just be mindful. Service here was ok - but the girls do hustle and bustle.
