So yummy!! Wish I'd gotten more perogies-- the filling was delicious. Chicken was tender and soft, didn't even need a knife to eat it. Mashed potatoes were also delicious on the side-- classic mashed potatoes and very filling. It is in a food court, so ambiance is fairly plain -- just a mall food court. Tried their apple strudel and their frozen Siberian pelmeni with beef and pork. The pelmenis were tiny morsels of bite sized dumplings that wasn't bad. The strudels were not too sweet which was really nice. read more

Went here twice. Overpriced for what you get. Not good value for price you pay. Beef stroganoff was decent tasting, but tastes better with ketchup. Piroshka is a bread bun with rice & ground pork stuffed inside. Was underwhelming , kinda bland. Also had a ground pork with rice dish, which was quite good actually. Ordered through delivery app. I had ordered two different meals but they ran out of one and gave me 2 of the same. It was stroganoff x2. Let me say that this is the worse stroganoff I've had. I can't cook well but I've made better myself. Did they open a can of Campbell's chunky stew and pour it over macaroni noodles? Cuz it tasted like it. The 2 cabbage rolls set is killer. The cabbage roll itself is great. They are about the volume of my fist each so 2 of them makes for a solid lunch. There's some rice in the meat but apart from that it's a pretty low carb option too, which is a plus for me. Borscht is great. The worst Russian food I have ever tried. Not tasty at all and overpriced. No seasoning, no salt or pepper. Russian cuisine isn't like that.

Delicious, homestyle food and exceptional customer service! Today one of my takeout lunch items was accidentally not packed (an honest mistake), and I didn't notice till I was back at the office. When I called to request a refund for the missing food, they apologized profusely and then proceeded to suggest an even better solution: they sent the missing item via Skip The Dishes courier to me at no charge. They even included a tasty crepe by way of apology! Now that is great customer service, and I'm a happy (and full) customer! I'm pregnant and for some reason the baby has been craving this Russian cuisine, so I've ordered from Russian Spoon once per week for the past 3 weeks (usually via Uber Eats) So far I've tried their pierogies, pelmeny, borscht, chicken combo, cutlet combo, okroshka (a summer feature: cold soup made with kvas), cabbage rolls, and blini. All are tasty and filling, but my favourite dishes are the okroshka and cabbage rolls. Also, the potatoes included in the combo plates are really satisfying my pregnant cravings! At any rate, pregnant or not you should definitely try out this gem of a food court kiosk. read more

I feel robbed and so, so disappointed. I ordered the cabbage roll plate for $22.95 that said in the description it feeds 2 people through Uber Eats. I received one (1) cabbage roll and about 2 tablespoons of mash, for $22.95!!!! Definitely not the case, not enough to wet one person's appetite. I also ordered the stuffed crepes at $15.95, and received 2 small crepes. So disappointing. The food was good, but so very expensive for what was received, especially considering this is not even a restaurant but a food court place. Very affordable lunch option. It's filling and tasty. I've yet to try their mains. I tried their cabbage roll, perogi and borscht. I've also had their piroshki and their napoleon and honey cake. All were very tasty and different from what's around (asian food). Love their desserts! Pairs so well with coffee. They're usually quick. I detest the food in North American food courts di was so happy when I discovered this place in Harbour centre. Russian food and homemade. I had been craving borscht for weeks and was happy to order some which was delicious and swerves with fresh baked bread. I also ordered the pilmeni dumplings which if you have never tried you must! They are freshly made and you have to wait a little extra for them but it is so worth it not to eat food court food that sits in a heater all day. The service was great and friendly. Both women had on Russian inspired outfits. I'm eager to back and try their other dishes. I also had their homemade cranberry drink Mors. Go here you will not be disappointed! read more

I treated my boss for International women's Day to a couple of cakes and also took a couple home. Outstanding traditional eastern European desserts made with a very light touch. We enjoyed every bite. Nathalia and her staff were all very sweet and charming. i only wish there were a location closer to my home. we will definitely be back for more sweets and looking forward to trying there hot food. Rush here for some Russian food. Nothing beats that home-cooked comfort food feeling, and you get a lot of that goodness from this restaurant. Can I call it a restaurant even if it's a kiosk in a food court? This place is a hidden gem, it doesn't attract too much attention, people overlook this place and that's too bad for them because they're missing out. Service may or may not look inviting due to common Russian stereotypes, but go ahead and talk to the ladies, they're actually sweethearts. English is a little off but they're super nice and accommodating. Try their perogies and borscht for sure, those are my go to dishes. But try the other dishes too like their buckwheat chicken meal or stroganoff. I'm also a fan of their piroshkis which are kinda like Russian hot pockets with grilled veggies or meat stuff in the middle. There aren't a lot of Russian restaurant choices around the Greater Vancouver area, and it's a damn shame too, because Russian food is tasty good for you. I work in the neighbourhood, and visit this kiosk in Harbour Centre at least once a week. It really is an overlooked gem. The food is outstanding - homemade and fresh, with good portion sizes. Thus far I've tried the pierogies, cabbage roll (delicious-meat and rice, with tomato sauce), and beef stroganoff. They also add on little sides to your plate such as sauerkraut, pickles, and of course sour cream for dipping. In addition to their entrees, they have a bakery case with an interesting ever-changing assortment of traditional Russian desserts such as blinis, honey cake, and delightful walnut-shaped cookies called oreshki. The counter staff are very friendly as well. Highly recommended for anyone who likes home-cooked Eastern European food! read more

This is by far the best food place in the food court. HOME MADE food. Not greasy or questionable . It's soooo good. I think a lot of people don't understand what Russian food is. Personally I haven't ventured out past the typical cabbage rolls, pierogis and borscht however I ordered all 3 from this place and it was delicious. The most legit lunch spot! Im close to the building and the Russian Spoon is now my immediate go to. I LOVE the pelmeni, so so flavourful and juicy. For those who don't know (i had no clue before I had them) they are Russian dumplings. Not like perogies at all. They are lighter with a meat filling and super juicy inside with more of a broth. They make them to order so as long as you've got 12-15 mins to wait, they are so damn worth it. You also get like 15-20 of them for $8. Such great value. They also give you sour cream on the side for dipping. The women are also lovely who work at this stall. I can't wait to try other bites here and will 100% go here when I don't bring a lunch to work. I've told all my coworkers about this spot too and some had already said how much they loved it too. Do yourself a favour and skip Thai Express and head here for a hearty, delicious and much healthier home cooked meal! read more

Recently found Russian Spoon in the Harbour Center food court, and was very impressed! The food here is fresh, authentic, tasty and filling. I really have no complaints on that front. You can get cabbage rolls, sausage, beef stroganoff, perogies and more... plus some baked goods too. It's nice to have a homecooked meal prepared with love and attention, vs. other typical food court vendors. The only negative I will say is the price... it's a bit pricey for what you get, and the quantity of food isn't enough IMO. I've been here twice for the cabbage roll + perogies meal and while it tastes great, it's just not enough food for me for the price, and I end up not being full. If they could increase portion size or lower the price by $2.00 this would be 5 stars for sure.
