They checked all of my tire pressures, topped them off with air where needed, and even helped me get a price match on a pair of TRICO Apex Si silicon ceramic windshield wipers that I've been needing for my car. Luis even helped install them for me on the spot after I purchased them. As someone who isn't especially knowledgeable about cars, I really appreciated how patient they were with all of my questions. They explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushed or talked down to, and made the whole experience approachable and stress-free. It's not easy walking into an auto shop by yourself (especially as a woman). Having a team that genuinely takes the time to educate rather than upsell me made such a lasting impression. I also have to mention how efficient they were. This location has air conditioning, complimentary coffee and water, and Wi-Fi in the waiting area. I took it another tire shop for a second opinion, and they also confirmed there were no issues. 1 star for wasting two days of my time -- one day at 714 and another for making me drive out to Sensei6 in West Covina -- only to be told by them and another tire shop that there was no issue.

Since my truck was out of warranty, I wasn't sure where to turn. I reached out through Yelp and heard back from Ed almost immediately. He had a good idea of what might be wrong and invited me to bring the truck in for an assessment. After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. He walked me through everything clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate for a full rebuild. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Ed then took the time to work directly with my insurance company--providing detailed documentation and expert insight. Because of his effort and experience, the claim was approved and the repair ended up being fully covered. That level of service is rare these days. I truly appreciate Ed's honesty, professionalism, and follow-through. He did exactly what he said he would do and then some. He is a trustworthy, fair, knowledgeable family guy who has been a mechanic for 33 years with his own shop for 24 years. I was referred to him by a friend and he has handled everything from oil changes to larger repairs to even finding me a great deal on wiper blades and the driver-side mirror that I had managed to mangle. He knows everyone in the business and I can always count on him to get me a great deal. But much more than that, I totally trust him on everything to do with my car. I have a bus that was giving me all sorts of problem with the DPF filter and Catalytic converter. I had a weeklong job coming up and was stressing that it would go into limp mode on me while driving my clients. Hector and his crew came through and solved the problem for me saving the job for me! We were referred to HAD Automotive by our neighbors after our 22 year old car failed its smog check. Hector took a look at it and was very honest and forthcoming on what the car did and didn't need, and wouldn't give up until the car passed its test!! I was really stressed because I couldn't afford the repair out of pocket, but they were incredibly helpful and told me about Technet, a credit card specifically for auto repairs. I applied and was instantly approved. They even fixed my car and waited for my card to arrive in the mail before I paid them in full. What really stood out to me was how kind and patient everyone was. They explained everything clearly, what the problem was, what caused it, and how they were going to fix it. They even paid for my Uber rides to the shop and from work while my car was in the shop, with no extra charge. It's hard to find honest and caring auto shops, especially when you don't know much about cars, but they made the whole experience so much less stressful. Whenever I need service again, I'll definitely be coming back.

I first visited JC Alignment before the axle housing replacement and Johnny took the time to inspect the Jeep, explain the alignment readings, and answer all my questions without charging me. After the axle housing replacement and a new alignment elsewhere, I still felt the steering was too light and the Jeep required constant corrections while driving. I returned to JC Alignment for a second opinion. Johnny reviewed everything, adjusted the steering wheel to center, fine-tuned the toe alignment, and took the time to explain the caster limitations of my current suspension setup. The difference was immediately noticeable. The Jeep now tracks much straighter, the steering feels more stable, and it no longer requires constant left and right corrections. What impressed me most was Johnny's honesty and professionalism. He did not try to sell me parts or unnecessary work. He explained that if I decide to install new lower control arms in the future and need another alignment, then he would charge for that service. He even told me that the alignment performed after the axle housing replacement was good and spoke positively about the other shop involved. In today's world, it is rare to find a shop that is this knowledgeable, honest, and willing to help customers without trying to upsell them. Schmidty's also honors their warranties. Recently, I got a message on my dash board that my tire pressure was low in one tire. It was from a nail or screw. Schmidty's replaced it under warranty. They warranty all their tires. Last week, my car wouldn't start. I got it jumped and learned it was down to 11 percent. I was encouraged by the roadside assistance technician to purchase a replacement battery with a three year life, but I chose to take it to Schmidty's out of loyalty. My four year old battery turned out to have a five year warranty and Schmidty's replaced it. Yes, there was labor, but the new battery was no charge. My previous experience for 20 years was with other service companies because I drove a fleet vehicle and was required to use certain brands. I don't recall ever being told something that needed replacing was under warranty. That is why Schmidty's shines, in my mind. I did not have to point out the warranties; they brought them to my attention. They also saved me having to get my vehicle towed by allowing me to drive it with them right away so the tire went flat and the battery died on their property.

What makes it worse is that they clearly knew something was up they even told me they had to contact the dealer for information. Because of that, I ended up paying a couple THOUSAND dollars I didn't need to spend. In hindsight, they were aware it was likely a recall and didn't disclose it properly. Very shady experience definitely go somewhere else.
