I can't say enough good things about Elite Auto Care and the incredible service we received from Dave Bell and his team. After hitting unavoidable debris on the highway, our fuel tank was punctured and leaking gasoline--it was a stressful situation, especially being at home with a newborn and two other kids without a car. Originally, we took the car to the shop last year in December for suspension work. They replaced the struts and did some brake work. They noted a power steering hose problem and replaced the hose. On leaving the shop we noted the blower fan was making a noise it had not been making before the work was done. We were advised the noise would quit over time. Total price: $2,400. We left town for a couple months and came back. After coming back to town, we noticed the front end was bottoming out on the driveway and the fan was still noisy. Took it to the shop and asked they look at why it was bottoming out and repair the fan. They quoted me over $1,000 to replace the front controller arm brushes. They also suggested we get new tires. Agreed to the new tires and asked that they also repair the fan. We agreed to a total of $1,500. They did the repair and gave me the new tires, but did not repair the fan. I refused delivery of the vehicle until the fan was fixed. Reluctantly, after some debate, I agreed to paying close to an additional $325 to have the fan fixed. I asked that they provide a quote for a 60k mile tune up that I'm going to need in fall/winter. When I picked up the car I was presented with an invoice, without tax of more than $2,000. I was upset to say the least. He refused to take my credit card and would only take cash: The total cash I had to dig up late afternoon on a Friday: $2,176.46, otherwise he was going to charge overnight storage for Saturday and Sunday. Advice: Shop around for your repairs. If you need an oil change, basic servicing or tires maybe use these guys. Anything else, and these guys are expensive. If you need specialized work done on your vehicle go to shops that do the specialized work. Do not take your car to these folks. After more than 4 or 5 years with this guys, I'm done with them. Based on their pricing, I'm not a happy camper. read more

I ended up having a major oil leak and they weren't willing to fix it under the warranty or do anything to rectify their mistake! They quoted another $1170 to repair the leak! Total scammers. Did they make an expensive mistake and lie to avoid having to correct it? Or was it their plan to scam me from the start? Either way, Jasen Harviston took my money, did not give me what I paid for, and told me that it was now my problem to solve. On Thursday, April 9, 2026, I found a Facebook Marketplace listing made by Eric Nicolini-Calderon who said he was selling a set of 4 KMC Impact wheels through his employer, Elite Auto Care. I messaged Eric and told him the exact wheel size, offset, bolt pattern, and color of Impact wheels I was looking for - 4 17x8.5", 0mm offset, 6x139, Machined Silver wheels. Eric confirmed the shop had the exact wheel I was asking for in stock and even sent me a picture of a KMC box with my requested specs. We agreed to a price and time for me to stop by the shop that day to buy the wheels. When I get to Elite Auto Care, I ask to speak with Eric and while I wait for him, I start browsing the different display wheels the shop has in their lobby. I wasn't able to find the exact wheel I had asked for, but I did find a KMC Impact wheel in black on display. I was checking out the wheel when Eric meets me and I confirm that I am there to buy the 4 Machine Silver wheels that I had messaged him about that morning. Eric asked if I was interested in adding some new tires with my purchase. I tell him that if he can match a price for a deal I had set up, I'd take them up on the offer. Eric and I talk to Jasen Harviston, I'm assuming the shop operator, and we agree to a total price for the new wheels, new tires, balancing, and install. While I went to a nearby bank to withdraw extra cash for the extra items being purchased, Jasen offered to have the shop start working on my truck while I was away. I agreed, the shop took my truck, I went to the bank, returned to the shop, and waited the next 1.5 hours in their lobby. When I was told my truck was ready and asked to pay, I paid my bill in full in cash, was given back my keys, but the shop did not give me a receipt of purchase. As soon as I stepped out of the shop and saw my truck my truck, I turned around and rushed back inside. The shop had installed KMC Impact wheels onto my truck, but in the wrong color! Instead of the Machine Silver wheels I had messaged and verbally talked to Eric about, the shop had installed black wheels instead. I pointed out the huge mistake to both Eric and Jasen, and showed them both the written proof of our Marketplace messages that I had always been asking for Machined Silver, so how could they make that huge mistake. Jasen looked at the messages, including the photo for the Machine Silver wheels I got from Eric, and told me "I don't see anything about Silver wheels" - A straight lie to my face and the proof in front of him. He then tells me "I saw you looking at a black wheel (the Impact display wheel), you pointed to a black wheel when talking to (Eric), so I made a deal with you for black wheels. It doesn't matter what you talked to (Eric) about, because you didn't specifically tell me silver." I argue with Jasen that the shop had to right the mistake - that their assumptions shouldn't have replaced what I had confirmed in writing and verbally. I told them to swap the wrong black wheels for the correct silver wheels I paid for, or reinstall my old wheels, tires and give me my money back. "No. Those are used wheels and tires. I don't buy used wheels. I think the black look better anyways. It's too late, they are already on your truck," were the excuses from Jasen. Jasen's only "solution" to me was that he'd sell me a second set of Machined Silver wheels and the shop would install those, but the black wheels were "now your problem." We kept arguing but they refused to own up to their mistakes (or maybe it was all according to their plan?). 2 weeks later, after calling and emailing Jasen to go over my proof of purchase and asking for an agreeable resolution, Elite Auto Care still refuses to make the situation right. You work hard for your money. Don't go to Elite Auto Care where they won't give you what you pay for. read more

I was visiting from Bay Area and drove my car down. Went to an off-roading spot for the day and noticed some loose bolts. Usually would not be a problem but I didn't bring everything with me so I called around and found this spot. Location: They are centrally located around shopping malls, gyms, and other auto shops so customers can always run errands while getting their car serviced. Customer Service: Lets just say that Dave has such a charming personality. From answering the phone to meeting in person, he helped me right away and had one of his guys tighten a few things to get me out of there in like 10 minutes. They had a packed parking lot too so it wasn't like he had downtime when I came in. I really appreciated the urgency as well as professionalism that he gave me during our quick interaction. Office: The office space was clean and has a seating area. There are two people in the front desk for quick service. Would recommend this place to anyone that lives in the area or just needs some work done while there. Hopefully I don't have to be back but if I need any type of emergency fix, I would drive a little out of my way to get to this shop if I was in SoCal again. !!!!!NEVER GO HERE!!!! Jasen is completely unprofessional when it comes to customer service and truly is a complete liar and lunatic. Kept claiming that he "wasn't throwing parts at the vehicle" but that's exactly what he did. Then he tried to charge $2600 for a tipm replacement. He claimed the part cost 1200 and the rest labor and said he could do a "cash discount" of 2200. I looked later and saw you could order the same part for 350 and I called the Chrysler dealership on beach who said they could install it for 650-750. Making it a grand total of 1100 on the high end with a oem nos part and dealership work. When he was questioned on it he threatened to have the car towed and a lien put on the vehicle. Not to mention also trying to charge storage costs and fees on a car he was "actively repairing". This place is truly a giant scam and rip off with a horrible manager. read more

To start I'll say this, simply don't come here. Service - 7/10 Communication - 1/10 Work quality - 5/10 Parts quality - 7/10 Short version - they did good work but caused other issues. Horrible communication and some bad attitude. Wouldn't recommend to others. My car had an issue where it kept leaking coolant despite replacing coolant lines and other components. I couldn't figure it out and didn't have the time. This place had great reviews and I have heard about it so I decided to come here. My car was reaching about 3/4 of the temp gauge at time but not quite over heating. Gave them the car and they said it's normal and they usually have this happen with this type of car. They replaced the water pump, coolant system components and others. They quoted me just under $800 and as hard as that is for me I accepted it and figured it'll be alright. Next day I get a call. They said the intake manifold is bad. It's gonna be $1400 but since they have never seen this type of failure before he said he can do it for $950. I was so thankful and happy and just couldn't believe it! I come the following day to pick the car up. I dipped into my savings and gas $1000 cash ready to go. They hand me the paper and it says $1950 on it. I paused and asked what's up with that. They said it's about $900 plus the $1000 or so. I said "on the phone you said it was gonna be 1400 but managed to do 950. He laughed and said "that was only for the intake manifold, you thought the whole thing was $950? That's stupid! We use high quality parts and non of that cheap S***. " So I just said okay and paid. The next day I noticed my temp gauge on the car wasn't going up. I figured maybe it's staying super cold but after a long drive I noticed the gauge was now broken! It worked fine before which is how I knew the car was having issues. I went back and they changed the sensor 3 times and thermostat again and said that my instrument cluster was broken. No way to fix it since they didn't break it. I told them it worked fine before but they said it just happened to break after they replaced all the temp sensors and coolant system components. I was annoyed and knew there is such a slim chance that could happen but said okay. A few days later I go to change all the coils and sparks as a tune up in the car. As I'm pulling the coils they all come off no problem except for one that just spins. I was very upset because the screw goes into the intake manifold they replaced that's oh so high quality apparently. I know to replace the manifold you have to remove the coils and put them back. Which means they over tightened it and broke the thread insert then gave it to me thinking I wouldn't notice. So I bring it back and they argue a bit about it and take the car. They call me 2 hours later and said "where is the new spark plug and coil pack?" I said "I have them at home" he says "ok what do you want to do?" I say "I'll come pick it up and change it myself" he responds "okay see you here". I walk in and he asks "where are the spark plug and coil pack" I said "at home, I said I would do it myself at home" he then turn around and yells "this F****** guy didn't even bring the F****** parts! Put the car back!" He then turns to me and says "keys in the car" I turn around and go out to the car. The hood is open and a mechanic is working on it for about 30 seconds. He grabs his tools and closes the hood then gives me a thumbs up. I then get the key on the trunk and stand there for 3 minutes waiting for someone to tell me it's good to go. Then after realizing yhr thumbs up I figure it's good to go. starts right up and I drive for about 1 minute when the car sputters and dies in traffic one block away from the shop. I open the hood and see the intake for the car is completely unhooked and sitting on top of the engine. I place it back and drive home with a misfire. I open the hood and go to replace the coil pack. It stinks of gas. The coil pack was ripped in half. Now this isn't unexpected but had the guy on the phone told me it was broken I would have brought the coil and spark. I just didn't want them working in my car anymore. So replaced spark and coil pack. Put intake back together. I don't like this place at all. Yeah they fixed some issues but caused others and make you feel like s*** for pointing it out. So don't recommend this place at all and will never be coming here. Also $145 an hour is a good price for a place you never have to warranty because the work is impeccable. read more
