This restaurant was the first recommendation by a local businessman so I decided to check them out. The area where grilling is taking place is huge. I managed to beat the lunch crowd when I arrived and walked right up to the order taker. When I left around 12:30 there was a twenty person line waiting to place their meat order with the grill men. Yep, that's how you do it here. Select your meat and how you want it cooked then proceed inside for sides and fixins. Two large dining areas, one inside and one outside although outside is enclosed except for one open wall. I ordered the 8 oz ribeye dinner and a baked potato. With that I got a choice of bread, beans and a drink all for only $21. Texans are so lucky to be able to eat great steaks at such low prices because it sure isn't that way around the rest of the country. My food was delicious and cooked perfectly. I would eat here once a week if I lived here.

I'm from Pa and always wanted good Texas bbq and this place did it / from waiting in line and they are cooking right in front of you you feel the heat the smell , food was the absolute best barbecue I had in Texas just actually amazing do not skip this place. Only draw is it a little expensive but I'm willing to pay good money for good food and good service and everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back.

It is never a HARD time to come here. We LOVE LOVE all the food. There is so much to like about this location. Food first! The barbecue and sausage were totally on point this time. My mom loved her bacon, jalapeño wrapped shrimp treat. ;) We also like the beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. Besides the really neat ambience here I totally love the people! The people outside at the grills/smokers are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help you decide. The people inside work like a well oiled machine. Very friendly also. And they keep the inside of this location so nice and clean. The restrooms are always clean. We will be back!

Hard Eight was a super fun experience. You walk in to the pit area and tell them what you want. They cut it right they and serve it up on a tray. You then go inside to grab any sides or dessert and your drinks. They is plenty of seating inside and out. Fun decorations too. We had the brisket, turkey, two poppers (chicken & shrimp) and a sweet potato. Everything was delicious except for the brisket. We got the end piece which was very hard. After talking to our server, she went and got us a new cut. It was much better but too fatty for my liking. The bbq sauce is very good, I bought two bottles to bring home. I really enjoyed the poppers and wish I would have ordered more of those.

Great place to get barbecue by the pound. The baked potatoes and chicken poppers are also tasty.

Really good! What I really like is the complimentary cheese and bacon bits. The potato salad was on point.

HUGE RAVE FOR SIDNEY AND R&R BARBECUE (aka "another restaurant review")…read more Today, my beloved bride and I decided we would patronize the above name establishment once again. I arrived at the drive-through window at 1550 (that's 10 minutes until four for those readers who might not be familiar with military time). I was greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Sidney. I proceeded to order our favorite culinary specialty, which is known as a "Bean Bowl." A bean bowl is a more-than-adequate container that holds a mixture of sliced sausage, chopped brisket, and pinto beans. I like to think of it as an MMM (that stands for "macho Manly meal." Then again, I might want to rethink that, because a lot of women love them too. Let's talk about the food; the brisket was smoky and tender as Texas brisket should be. The sausage was extremely flavorful and chopped just right, meaning that one slice is less than a mouthful, at least for me. And speaking of my mouth, mine has never wrapped its gums around more tasty pinto beans! They were tender, seasoned perfectly, and not overwhelmed by an army of jalapeños, like some barbecue places make them. And did I fail to mention that you can get onions, pickles, and barbecue sauce, added, or on the side with this dish? If I did fail to mention it, please allow me this opportunity to mention that you can get onions, pickles, and barbecue sauce added, or on the side with this dish! Now let's talk about Sidney: I am an old man, and having the pleasure to meet her, I saw a young lady who is kind, can multi-task, has a very professional and congenial manner with customers, and in short is the type of young woman whom I would have wanted my daughter to be if I had ever had one. The R&R Barbecue restaurant and Sidney are ROCK STARS! These folks can play on my team any day! In closing, I'm sure that you all have heard about the world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay. I have no doubt that some of his signature dishes, like beef Wellington, grilled scallops, and others, are quite tasty. But to quote an old bald-headed man from Morgan Mill, "As for me and my house, we will always prefer bean bowls." I hope that y'all have enjoyed reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. If you haven't already, give this restaurant a shout and ask for Sidney. You will not be disappointed!

We walked in and over to a booth... the table appeared clean but the seats had food left in them for ... well I'm not sure how long. Moved to another booth that the guy way "wiping down" with a wet dirty rag and no cleaner. Yes, I am aware that some restaurants soak towels for this purpose, but I promise this was not the case. He did not wipe down the seats, but the food on the seat was to my right and there really was no other option, since all the chairs at the tables had hand prints on the top of the chairs and black dirt on the legs of the chairs. I informed the waitress that she might want to remind her bus boy that he should wipe down the seats. She apologized and I hope she passed on the information. While sitting there, I became more uncomfortable. Food on the walls. Air vents were black, like the AC filter has never been changed. I observed people behind the counter on an "ice rink of grease" sliding all around. The floors in the restaurant haven't been cleaned in days. It was 10 am, no way could they look like that from just a few hours. The grill has not been cleaned in well, it's been a while.... See photos, the aluminum wall guard was swiped at. But the controls on the grill were just nasty Waitresses were eating and drinking behind the counter, in front of customers. I didn't get to the restrooms, but if they are anything like the rest of the restaurant..... Coffee was as far as I wanted to go here. But my mom wanted to eat. So we ordered a burger and a steak sandwich. 40.00 plus tip. Food was subpar. Does were cold. Burger was not great. Mom liked her steak sandwich. Would I recommend this place. Absolutely NOT. We will not be going back. A giant waste of money.
