    All gone! Every last bite

First let me say, I'm from California. I have heard about Texas BBQ forever. I have been living in San Antonio for the past 18 months. I tried many BBQ places but was never overly impressed. It tasted good but, it was NEVER hot. I prefer my meal to have protein that is more than body temperature! So, we are moving to Oklahoma.. and driving thru this little town, it's past lunch time we need a break! I just had the BEST brisket in Texas! Right here !! It was hot, juicy.. tasty!! It had great smoke, SO moist.. perfect! I sadly can't say I will ever be back but should I ever need to drive through this area again I will plan the trip with this location in mind!!

Have heard that it's super good and reasonably priced. Some BBQ places are higher than an upscale steakhouse! R&R fits the bill!

Better BBQ than Hard Eight. Good service. Really like the salad bar. Sometimes you have to ask them to refill it. Food is good.

By far the best BBQ in the area. Hard 8 is really good, Tumbleweed is ok, but R&R is absolutely amazing. Try the cornbread salad!

Another favorite is the waffle sandwich for breakfast . U can't go wrong with ordering the homestyle potatoes with any meal. I've lived here for 26 yrs and I still need to try other items on the menu but I keep repeating on ordering the same thing.

We walked in and over to a booth... the table appeared clean but the seats had food left in them for ... well I'm not sure how long. Moved to another booth that the guy way "wiping down" with a wet dirty rag and no cleaner. Yes, I am aware that some restaurants soak towels for this purpose, but I promise this was not the case. He did not wipe down the seats, but the food on the seat was to my right and there really was no other option, since all the chairs at the tables had hand prints on the top of the chairs and black dirt on the legs of the chairs. I informed the waitress that she might want to remind her bus boy that he should wipe down the seats. She apologized and I hope she passed on the information. While sitting there, I became more uncomfortable. Food on the walls. Air vents were black, like the AC filter has never been changed. I observed people behind the counter on an "ice rink of grease" sliding all around. The floors in the restaurant haven't been cleaned in days. It was 10 am, no way could they look like that from just a few hours. The grill has not been cleaned in well, it's been a while.... See photos, the aluminum wall guard was swiped at. But the controls on the grill were just nasty Waitresses were eating and drinking behind the counter, in front of customers. I didn't get to the restrooms, but if they are anything like the rest of the restaurant..... Coffee was as far as I wanted to go here. But my mom wanted to eat. So we ordered a burger and a steak sandwich. 40.00 plus tip. Food was subpar. Does were cold. Burger was not great. Mom liked her steak sandwich. Would I recommend this place. Absolutely NOT. We will not be going back. A giant waste of money.

My fav is the two eggs with sausage patty, I get it with the home fries, toast, and a single pancake. Their coffee is great too!

The ribeye was perfectly cooked, tender and perfectly seasoned. My wife always gets the chicken fried steak. It's a huge meal and a heck of a deal. Each plate came with mashed potatoes and some veggies. I love desserts and I am always trying new places to find the best desserts. I can honestly say that Newton's bread pudding is the best bread pudding I have ever had and is one of my favorite desserts. I follow their social media and I always see their burger Tuesday's. We happened to be passing through and decided to stop in. Carlos was our server and he was on top of things and he offered great customer service. I got the triple meat smash burger with grilled jalapeños and bacon added. My wife got the buffalo chicken sandwich. They were both tasty. I would definitely stop by again for their burgers but their steaks are still my go to. And of course we had to finish our meals with a bread pudding!!

My wife had the filet and the kitchen was nice enough to sub a gluten free pasta for the blue cheese gnocchi that was on the menu. The pasta was buttery and rich, very rich but my wife enjoyed it and said the steak was up there with the best steak she's ever had. Get the bourbon glazed carrot.. trust me.
