Where do I start. First of all, the shop is just gorgeous and has such a wonderful vibe and aura. Artwork all around, tea, good music and kind people. I got a half-sleeve done by Ashely and the experience was more than perfect. We experimented, communicated, and figured out placements and fillers to build a piece that I adore. I cannot thank her enough for being patient, working together with me, and having a true passion in the work she was putting on me. I always have great experiences here, imo its the best shop in the foothills area.

Aleks has tattooed me for HOURS!!! I have trusted her with her artistic expression and her ability to tattoo. My tattoos have healed perfectly because I listened to her advice and followed up with her. I will keep coming back to her for tattoos that are within her style. She is awesome! I had an absolutely amazing experience with Raven. Her talent and skill as a tattoo artist is just incredible. She spent extra time making sure the placement was exactly right. My tattoo came out absolutely perfect and I couldn't be happier. As well, she was incredibly kind, patient, and a joy of a human being. I would highly recommend Raven to anyone. 10/10. I'll be getting my next tattoo with her. The shop itself is very clean, and is extremely comfortable to be in. I recently visited the shop for the first time as a friend of mine is starting to tattoo there. I didn't even go for a tattoo that day, just to check out the shop and hang out for a bit. I immediately felt SO WELCOMED! First, the overall vibe of the shop is cozy with pleasing aesthetics which makes walking in a much calmer experience than many/most shops I have ever been to. Then, the staff was SO KIND and INVITING! A lot of times shops can feel like everyone is too cool for you, but these folks were smiley, warm, and I enjoyed laughing with them. And of course, they have awesomely comfy couches to chill on where Pheonix even offered me tea. This shop is the most approachable I have ever been in! I would give this a negative star if I could. This review is main on my personal experience with 1 artist in particular, hondre. He is extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy. Let's just say I am now out +$1000 and an unfinished tattoo that I have yet to find someone to finish. Don't get me wrong. This guy has talent, but the way he goes about conducting business is shady. My advise is go elsewhere but here. The shop is cold and is known to have spirits. If that is the environment you like then you found it. read more

My roommates and I wanted small Roman numeral tattoos and Hondre at Utopia did not disappoint! The shop has such a clean, calming, artistic vibe that made us feel welcome and excited to get tattooed! Hondre was personable and we enjoyed getting to talk and laugh with him as we all got tattooed. We will definitely be back to get bigger pieces! read more

I accidentally came into this tattoo shop with my friend after a hike looking for the entrance to the Thai restaurant next door. They were extremely friendly and offered some great information on steps to prep for my friends first tattoo as well as their experience in dealing with diabetic clients. The shop is gorgeous with lots of beautiful plants and artwork. Top notch service! Extremely friendly and welcoming, so glad that we stumbled in there! read more

I was looking for a new tattoo artist when I came across Nico and knew his style was exactly what I was looking for!! The shop was so inviting and everyone was so friendly!!! Nico really took his time and put a lot of thought into the bat tattoo I wanted on my arm. He made it fit around my other pieces that were already there and put so much detail into my bat! From the texture design on the inside of his wings, to the fur on his body, to the smoothness of the outside of his wings. I'm truly impressed with how it's coming so far! I had a few appointments with faelien (ashley ) and she messed up on her booking and blamed me for not knowing the dates of our appointment even tho we had agreed on a certain date. In the system it came out wrong but i didn't notice because she did it right after i left. the month was off by 1 but the two dates were correct. the first time i met her she massaged herself, complained about her body hurting, and asked me if i had sexual trauma and then tried convincing me that i was autistic. I was really excited to work with her because i've been working with the owner of the shop to finish a sleeve that's taken almost 3 years to complete. when i let her know that the dates were wrong she said that we had never talked about the first dates we originally planned. she completely lied saying that she offered me dates she never did. she said that she never had me booked for those certain days and tried to make me pay another deposit. first she said she's had a vacation planned for those days for months now, then she says it's a family emergency. and she cannot admit that we had a date planned already. She completely lied, could not take accountability in the mistake. i tried taking accountability for not notifying her about the mistake in the month. but she couldn't even remember what days she had me booked, and even the dates that were there and were proof she still denied and kept asking for more proof. overall just a shitty experience given that i had told her about my shitty tattoo experiences in the past. i pretty much got robbed. and i noticed that if these people don't want to work with you they take long to email you back or they are confusing in email. I am a local and I am completely disappointed in the service and will not ever spend my money here ever again. read more

I remembered that Tyler told me that Selena is the piercer that works here. So as I headed out for the day, I stopped in to say hi to everyone. I got to say hello to Tyler and officially meet Selena! Everyone was kicked back and it was so chill in there. Great vibe! I wanted to give them a little business, so I purchased a new nose ring and tongue ring. She pulled out the jewelery and after selecting what I wanted, she sanitized the chair and jewelry. Brought me in and started pushing the jewelery into my nose. After being out for a few days, it needed to be pierced again. OUCH! Selena had to grab the piercing needle (I forgot the word she used for it) and push it through. Then, she had to push the jewelery through. It was rougher this time because I had scar tissue in there. She also put my tongue ring in for me and made sure it was on there nice and tight. She took good care of me, spayed my nose with saline to keep the area clean. I really love the vibe when I walk in here. Am I weird or is there something soothing about the sound of the tattoo gun working? I'm looking forward to when I am ready to get my next piercing because I will be coming back here to see Selena!

so i totally was blown away when i first set foot in this place!!!!! the chairs, the lighting, the frends, the artwork, everything was just awesome. from the second i walked in i was already at home. chris is a good freind as well as the only one at the moment i trust to put some ink on me in the whole world. yet i have a sneaking suspicion that ill be getting something from joey in not too long. its sterile, its fun, and its goodtimes in general. best place EVER!!!!!!!! read more
