We were greeted by every single one with a smile and happy energy, despite how busy the place was. There are so many times when you sit at a bar unnoticed and patiently wait for someone to look your way, but this was the opposite of that. Our drinks were ice cold and served super fast. We didn't try any food, but they do have a small menu of bar bites that sounded really good. My cider was crisp, and not too sweet. It seemed to be "the spot", because there were lots of people but we didn't have any trouble finding seating. Lots of people had their dogs with them, which is always a plus!! Overall a really nice vibe here!

It is very enjoyable to sit on the covered deck and enjoy the small stream that runs along the side of the brewery. There is parking across the street and in the field across the stream. There is some street upgrades in progress in front of the entrance that may limit access to the parking lot across the stream. These improvements should be completed soon. I highly recommend this business for a relaxing and enjoyable outing. I am sure you will be pleased with the experience.

That's fine in normal cold weather, but at 22 degrees the overhead heaters just don't quite cut it. I think this part of the experience could use a little revision. My wife had pancakes with vanilla syrup and sausage. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs, grits, sausage, and toast. Everything was very flavorful. My only complaint was that my food was lukewarm. It seemed like my food may have been finished and sat for a few minutes while my wife's pancakes were completed. On a cold morning, I would have preferred a hotter meal, the grits weren't warm enough to melt the butter, and the toast was cold, so I didn't even attempt to butter it. That said, even with the temperature issue, the food was still very tasty, and given how cold it was outside, I'm willing to let it slide. Everything arrived quickly, and the restaurant itself is very quaint, set in an old home that is very clean. On our first visit, they offered chocolate chip cookies to go, and they were excellent! They didn't have any this time, but we'll be back again to try our luck. To those about to nosh, I salute you!!

I have been here several times over the last 6 years. I know people I have gone with have liked what they got. The meats are a little dry, I think it is meant for you to add sauce. They do keep 5 different sauces at the tables (regular, hot, mustard, white, and vinegar). I personally am not a fan of any of them. I like the sauce on the ribs and I think to use the beans at sauce. The style is to order at the counter and they call your name to come get your tray. They are very friendly and easy to interact with. With a limited number of inside tables, sometimes you do have to clear one to use it. I don't count that against the service because you are supposed to clear your table before you leave. I think that is pretty standard at BBQ places I have been do in the past.

Apparently the Stuckey's where this Dairy Queen is located is under new management. And I must say, it's been quite an improvement, from when I last visited years ago. Decades ago, this was a nice restaurant/gas station. Then something happened (I don't know what), and the place turned into an absolute dump. It stayed that way for years. (To be honest, I stopped visiting for more than a decade, because it was always so awful.) Today was my first visit back, & things have drastically improved since my last visit. The new management clearly cares. They are in the process of installing electric vehicle charging stations. There were several friendly employees working. The place was reasonably clean, & the bathrooms were in good shape. Does it still need a bit of work? Yes. But it seems like they are on the right track. Can't wait for my next visit, when I plan to order an EVEN LARGER churro cone- seriously, I could've eaten two of those things, it was so good!
