Let me preface the review by saying that Hardee's has somehow became a road trip tradition for us, but after today's visit...we may have to reconsider. We stopped by this location to grab a few things to eat on the go. Our go-to's are always the Frisco Combination with onion rings and the Hot Ham n' Cheese with fries. While Hardee's isn't known for being the cheapest fast food, paying close to $23 for a fast food lunch was a little much. This is the first reason for our reconsideration. Second, the food quality itself was lacking today. The Frisco burger, which was ordered with no tomato, came with tomato and was cold with a burnt burger patty. Overall, it was a let down considering how much I love and craved that burger! The hot ham n cheese was solid, however it was extra messy due to being over saturated. The fries and onion rings were on point, both fried well and tasted good! Drinks were another issue. My first choice was sweet tea, but they were out of it. So then I get me a cup of Sprite, and it tastes flat and gross, so back to the board I go where I land on Mello Yello. The MY seems to be out of co2, resulting in another flat beverage. I ended up with a Cherry coke, as that was one of the only ones available. Service was ok, they were friendly and helpful at the counter. Overall, this Hardee's was disappointing on several levels and I would imagine that we will go ahead and put this spot on our "no thanks" list for road trips! read more

The employees have been very nice every time my husband visit, which makes going there even more pleasant. I love the choices (especially since Red Burrito is part of it now) and the good value. It's fast food prices and speed but so much better quality. Plus they are one of the few fast food places with Coke Zero, which my husband and I love! read more

I ordered 4 biscuits and gravy. I saw the cook put up 2 of them under the light. The cashier took 5 more orders and they were served up to those customers. I asked the status of mine. The 2 were taken down and placed on the rack outside the lights. The cook went to the back to get a pot of gravy and then, I guess, had to wait for it to heat. After 20 minutes, I finally got my order but of course two of the biscuits and gravy were already cooled off. The survey will not allow me to comment on their service. read more

My drive through visit started with me sitting in line for 15 minutes before getting to the window. It was 2pm. There were two cars in front of me. That's an average of 7.5 minutes a car. When I got to the window, there was no one there. After 30 seconds, someone wandered up to take my debit card. Then, she disappeared again. To her credit, she did say, "sorry for the wait." However, I can't forgive waiting 20 minutes for fast food in a drive through line when I am the third car in line when I pulled up. My order? A hamburger, a bottle of water, and a cup of coffee. Oh, the coffee was fun. I asked for, "coffee with milk and sugar." I received a cup of coffee and a carton of 2% milk. Then she asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I guess it was partially my fault for not noticing the milk on the screen. I admit that. But...really? Anyway, I choose fast food not for the health benefits, not for the price, not really for the taste, but for the convenience. I get it because it's fast and easy. When fast food is not, especially in a drive through, it really has no redeeming qualities. I cannot recommend this place. I would give it a one star, but the hamburger wasn't bad when I finally received it. read more

The service was crap. Girl working drive thru was not properly trained and double charged for one item and did not apply coupon. She did not know how to fix it and consulted the manager who then repeatedly told me I was charged correctly and I "wasn't hearing her". After 30 minutes in line and attitude from the manager, I was reimbursed for the overcharge and left with cold food. read more

I sat in the drive thru for over 15 minutes. I had my daughter go in to see what was going on. They only had 3 people working. Of course, I have seen places running smoothly with 3 people, but this place could not get anything together. I have given them the benefit of the doubt, but it has always been the same. Man, this place is weird. Everybody who works there is like a NAVY Seal of customer service. Seriously, I don't know why, it's a bunch of young people in a fast food place, but every time I go, they act like professionals, getting orders out fast, smiling at people even outside at theory smoke breaks. Last time I went, we were at the window and the line had wrapped around the building and was going to block us from leaving. The employee quickly jumped out to go ask them to make way for us. He reacted in a split second, went up to a stranger and communicated with them to help us out keep things operating well. What kind of man had that kind of dedication to his job? A hero, that's who. But I've come to expect nothing less from Phoenix City Hardees. And this is beyond the fact that their biscuits are amazing. read more
