When I got to the store she saw me and asked if i needed assistance. I showed her my screenshot. We looked in the section where it would be. Then we looked in the clearance section and it wasn't there. And then we looked in the last known place on her zebra where it was last and the date said Dec 28z The inventory was wrong and it said Negative two but in my app it said six in stock. So I really drove there for nothing. I just wanted to praise Makaylah on her customer sevice and attitude even though I walked out empty handed. Disappointed on the accuracy of the app.

I asked the cashier about purchasing the exchange tanks for propane. She had to call someone to check if they had any (although online they showed 253). She directed me to the self checkout at the front of the store to purchase and pick up. Cashiers up there were swamped with customers and told me they would call someone to help me get my tanks exchanged. It took a while but they finally got it done . Their pricing is inline with other home improvement stores on island. Nice store too bad about the service level.

Today I tried calling and all I get is the virtual assistant. I keep asking to speak to a human being or customer service person and I wait on the phone for over 10 minutes and nobody answers the phone. I literally had to drive down to the store and asked them if the cutting machine was working, which they replied no. They said I can take it down to the honolulu store and get it cut. The other hardware stores did not carry Sherwin-Williams paint and I found out that there was a S-W Paint Store in Kapolei. This store is tucked away in the Kalaeloa Industrial Center of Kapolei and next to a Bikram Yoga Studio. All I had were the names of the colors and was easily overwhelmed trying to find the particular paint swatch. I figured it would be easier to ask CASEY (the only employee in the store at that time) to help me find it. He took down the names and quickly tracked them down and gave me the paint "swatches" in a very quick manner! No waiting at all! He was so thorough and courteous! I even had him looking for a color that I was certain was a Sherwin-Williams brand only to find out that it was a Benjamin Moore product. When asking about how effective those apps are that give you an idea of how a color will look in your room is he informed me that colors change throughout the day, depending on how the sun or lack of it hits a room and hence, that app is probably not the best way to decide on a paint color. He suggested buying the smallest size paint and having them tint it to my specifics (the paint was only $7-8.00 a can) and then applying that color onto the wall in a medium size patch and see how I liked it at different times of the day. Great advice!! I made the "mistake" of painting a wall in my house three years ago without a sample paint and I haven't been happy with it since then. Hubby isn't thrilled either since I'm asking him to re-paint that wall again. Either that or go with one of Sherwin-Williams's preferred contractors (listed in their showroom). Either way, I'm pretty sure I've narrowed down my color choice down to 3-4 colors and I'm a ba-zillion percent sure that THAT is the right color. Again, SUPER GREAT customer service from Casey!!

I don't have a Walmart account, so I didn't have to open one just to pick up my diapers. This was my first time doing curbside pickup, but the instructions aren't exactly rocket science. I park, press the button that says I've arrived, and wait. My baby was crying in the back. He had been crying since we left the house, so I made him a bottle. I was sitting there waiting when I realized I had gotten there at 6:45 and had already been sitting for 15 minutes without seeing a single curbside employee walking around. More cars started pulling into the parking lot. One, two, three, four... It seemed like everything was happening pretty quickly, but in reality, it was already 7:10. At this point, I was upset from waiting, and I had a crying baby who just wanted to get out of his car seat. I gave him his bottle, but my plan was to grab the order, drive off, and maybe walk around Walmart or somewhere else afterward. More cars parked. More time passed. By 7:20, I was tired, and I saw someone park in the curbside area and walk inside, so I decided to do the same. I grabbed my baby and walked in HOT. I went to the curbside area and said, "Excuse me," into the area so the people on the opposite side of the room could hear me without me having to yell or deal with an echo. Up walks a kid who looked like he was either in high school or around my younger brother's age. When I saw that I went back to my senses mentally but I still let him know I had been waiting outside since 6:45, that my son was upset, and he could probably tell that I was too. I may not have been big a dramatic for someone to pull out their phone and record me, and I definitely am still a work in progress, but this young man was honestly better than me. He had the BEST customer service. He apologized, asked if I had checked in, and when I told him yes--and that there were eight other cars waiting outside--he immediately got to work. He helped me swiftly, directed his other coworkers (who all looked around the same age) to go check on the other customers outside, and apologized for something that was clearly **not his fault**. From what I could tell, it seemed like the system itself was the issue, not these employees. So I really want to applaud these young men, Walmart, and whoever raised and/or trained them. They were such a breath of fresh air. They took accountability for a mistake that wasn't theirs, treated me with kindness even when I was clearly frustrated, and immediately tried to fix the situation. To the young men working curbside on 9/10 at 7 PM: thank you. You handled that situation better than I did, and I genuinely appreciate you.
