It has been 10 years and this place still makes my blood pressure skyrocket when I see it. I took a bike there for warranty work and they kept it for so long without touching it that by the time they got around to it, it was out of warranty and then they wanted to charge me full price for repairs that were supposed to be warranty. I was active duty military at the time and did not have the time or resources to sue them in court. I picked up my bike that they had for over 3 months without fixing a single thing, and had to repair it all myself. I love that bike and in the 12 years since new, my absolute WORST experience ever at a motorcycle dealership was at this one. That bike has been with me in 5 states and three countries and it wasn't until I took it to Quantico, while also being active duty military, that I was treated like absolute shit and scammed on warranty work and forced to eat it. At one point they said "go ahead and sue us. We get sued all the time. We have the money set aside in our operating budget to settle lawsuits like this." Real nice. read more

This place had the nicest bikes hands down with plenty of parking spaces. I came with a group of 6 on a Wednesday and was fortunate enough to meet the owner Ken Barner. Really to notch dude! He gave us some complimentary poker chips and showed us around. They are doing some really cool things with their bikes and an awesome line up of clothing brands. We ran out so quickly to grab a late lunch down the street before they closed I didn't get any photos or T-shirts. We had to return after lunch to complete our experience. Let me start off by saying we've been going to this place for YEARS. Bike after bike purchased here. Parts and clothes purchased here. All of our service needs done here. That all stops now. Never will we ever step foot into this place again. Ken is rude, arrogant, judgmental and disrespectful. The only thing this dude cares about is what scam he can get away with. He sold my husband a tire that was defective (and if you're reading this Ken, shove off), and could have taken my husband's life due to the danger of the defect. So naturally we take the tire back and they tell us yes of course we will take care of it and you. Kept the bike for four weeks because apparently it takes that long for him to sit and stare at a bike and contemplate if a riders safety is important (and note to Ken, again if you're reading this, you made it abundantly clear rider safety does NOT matter to you). Nevertheless, after four long weeks we get a call from service telling us that Ken wouldn't take care of the defect. Excuse me? Yep you read that right. He sold us a shit tire and decided nah I don't give a shit that your safety was compromised, you need to pay the difference for a new tire even though his dealership and him were THE DUMB ASSES WHO SOLD US THE TIRE AND YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCTS YOU REPRESENT AND SELL. But nooooo he didn't and doesn't care. So guess what? Now I don't care and I'm going to let every single platform I know of know what a giant waste of intelligence you are. You had one job and you failed. You have one job and you have failed. Got a somewhat decent deal... however, they are all about passing on hidden cost like most . Purchase was mildly acceptable... however, make sure you get what you want in writing. Once deal is made, their politeness and service disappear. They over charge service horribly. I asked about having speakers put in, they quoted 5-7 hours labor. I went to Harley DC, they quoted 2-3 hours labor. Apparently HD dealers are now structured differently so they don't all have the same pricing scale. This particular one is worse than most. If you want fair pricing, knowledgeable sales folks, and an efficient business office, make your way to Quantico HD. I shopped at several local HD dealers and my experience with QHD was the best. They had a good selection and they worked hard to earn my business. My sales guy, Mike, is incredibly knowledgeable about everything Harley-Davidson. The business office didn't try to upsell me, which I appreciated. The service folks were able to install some items on the spot. Overall, I highly recommend QHD. read more

Fair honest and accurate review here. I made a trip (about 5 miles) to Harley Quantico to LOOK at bikes. Talked with Matt I sales and test rode a couple of Street Glides. Instead of pressuring me to buy the most expensive bike available, Matt helped me weigh the pros on cons of multiple bikes specifically looking at the best bang for the buck and the best deal for me. I bought a bike, I got a deal, and I'm happy. Matt is fantastic and anytime I've stopped by the dealership for gloves, phone holder etc. he always recognizes me and asks if he can help. Sue in the scary money office was amazing. Straight forward with no BS. Informative and no hidden costs. She went through every document and answered all of my questions before I asked them. She might be CIA. Now for Motorclothes. I stewed about a Harley jacket for two weeks. Went in finally and got a clearance jacket with Superior assistance from the clothing sales ladies. I walked in to just sit on the Sportster to make sure it was what I wanted. Bob came over and walked us through the different models and made this first time rider feel so comfortable. I ended up purchasing the bike. We drove two hours to the dealership and had our two young kids and since we weren't prepared to drive it home that day they ended up delivering it to us. This dealer is shady and can't be trusted. I bought a 13 street bob from these unprofessional thieves. Had I known how bad they were I would've stayed away. 4 months after I purchased the bike I was out riding and got caught in some rain. The next day I was riding and as I was in a low speed turn and the bike cut off. I didnt have enough momentum to stand the bike upright out if the turn so I had to jump off it and watch it fall. Minimal damage just some rash to my exhaust. I tried to run thru the reset for tip over procedures and nothing would work. So I pulled the seat off to inspect the battery and pull the fuse box cover and right there plain as day is EXPOSED wires. I had the bike picked up by Colonial HD and they found 3 more exposed further down and determined the exposed wires had grounded out my hand controls. Now this was covered by my extended warranty via my 50 dollar deductible. So me being as pissed off as I was I called HD Corporate and filed a complaint on these incompetent dirtbags who could've actually got me killed. I get a call from Don from the service department and starts off nice. I tell him the entire story and he immediately places the blame on Stonewall HD who inspected it before it was sent to them and added to their inventory. I tell him replacing the heat shields on my short shots would be nice and to refund my deductible. He says he needs to speak to the director. I told him to give me a call back the following week and if I didn't hear from him I would call Corporate back. Well no call from him ever happened until I called corporate again. He tells me they will NOT replace the heat shields. This director/owner didn't even have the common decency to pay for my deductible. They said they are NOT responsible for the condition of the bike before and after the incedent. This business sold this motorcycle but refuses to own their negligence. As an Active Duty service member I can't stress Veterans and other Yelpers enough to stay away from these substandard folks, they only care about profit not the consumer. read more

I so wish I could do business with the Q-HD service department as I live in Stafford. But unfortunately I take my business an hour away to Richmond HD. I heard of the reputation of the Q-HD service department long before I went there from a number of riders. But I have now lived it (twice) and can attest to the deplorable service. The sales staff and parts department at Q-HD are fine. I've never had an issue with either of these departments. I have not purchased a bike there but I have good friends that have and they said it was a seamless experience. I have purchased parts, riding gear etc and found the staff helpful and courteous. But the service department is woefully bad. It is unprofessional, disorganized, non-commicative, unhelpful, incompetent and needs to be completely blown up and restaffed. I, and a lot of other riders were hopeful once the dealership became under new ownership that the service department would do a 180 and be professional and squared away. Sadly, it didn't happen. They need a newly retired MGuns maintenance chief to take over kick the asses that need kicking and square that place away. If you need parts or to purchase a bike by all means go there but for service stay away, stay far away. And the new dealership in Fredericksburg, Old Dominion is the same ownership as is the old Waugh dealership. Not sure if the new ownership just cares about sales and could care less about service or what. A head scratcher for sure. All HD dealerships offer the same services so what sets them apart and makes them stand out is customer service, good customer service. The manager and owner(s) of Q-HD should visit other dealerships and get schooled on what good customer service looks like. For service go to Whitts, Patriot or Richmond. Anywhere but here. D. the times I had my bike in for warranty work was anything but negative, every time it was either the dept. supervisor or the technician would call me to keep me updated on the progress with my bike. I live just outside of fairfax city and with a dealership just down the road because of their ripping me off for $498.84, warranty work THEY said wasn't covered I wouldn't go to them for air for a tire. Last time I picked my bike up from Quantico H. D. It looked almost cleaner than any time I washed it and Kevin came out to me and told me I was good to go, no deductible or any cost to me. Worst customer service department ever. Their inability to manage appointments is unprofessional. I trailered my bike into them to speed up the process but due to their incompetence it had no effect. When I called to ask the status (twice) I was told "it's the next bike in line." It took them 13 days to fix a loose electronic pin connection within the start/kill switch. The labor was 2 1/2 hours but my bike sat for 13 days. No communication was made to inform me of them being backed up. Upon getting the bike home I found that they didn't connect wire connector for the heated grip plug on the throttle side. UPDATED: STILL NO REGISTRATION or a temporary from the dealership. Why do we pay a $259 document fee if you can't give me the documents? I recently purchased a bike from Todd B. and I am totally satisfied with it. They delivered the bike 9 days later to me in Arlington and ever swapped my license plates for me. The only hiccup I've had was getting a temporary registration. Almost 30 days later and two phone calls later, they are going to e-mail me a copy of it today. Sue is financing has been extremely helpful by agreeing to e-mail it over to me. Only tip: Include a temporary registration when delivering a bike. I shopped around at two other HD dealers in the DC area and Quantico is by far the best even if they are further away. read more

I came to this dealership to purchase a new 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide and was absolutely shocked by how friendly the entire staff was. My financing had been approved and my credit union ended up changing my pre-approved terms after the deal had been made. Finding that getting service for a Harley can be difficult. Long back ups and waits. They clearly need more maintenance space. Tried to make an appointment for the bike I just purchased to get the mandatory $500, 1000 mile service done. Earliest they could do it was 3 Aug. that would have meant keeping the bike in the garage all summer. Non starter. I explained my frustration to the manager who was able to help and squeeze it in. Went in here recently wanting to get a 4 month old battery replaced on warranty. Negative battery lead had melted and they had said that that probably wouldn't be covered under warranty., but they went the extra mile and provided me a replacement! On Saturday 12 Dec 2015, I took my Harley Fatboy in to Harley Davidson of Quantico to have some maintenance done. The service department informed me that all the necessary service would be completed the next day and i can pickup the bike. I picked up the bike today and all the service was completed to my satisfaction. I spoke with both the service manager and technician who worked on the bike before leaving. It was good to talk with the tech because he was able to give me specific details about what he found. I personally prefer to talk with the tech and the service department to get the level of details i need about my bike since i do some of the maintenance myself. I'm read some of the comments and reviews before going to Harley Davidson of Quantico and decided to go anyway. I enjoyed the experience. The personnel were helpful and attentive both in the service department and the dealership sales area. I had a very positive experience and would recommend the dealership to anyone who asked me about their service based on my experience this weekend. read more

You may want to look for another place to have your bike repaired. 3 weekends so far and still no bike. I don't think the service manager knows how to schedule, so he lies and makes up excuses so you don't get mad and start yelling at them. If you can't do the work in a timely matter you need to let people know so they can take their bike somewhere else who can repair it in a short amount of time. Waiting over week for ordered part. I could and should have ordered part from jp cycles or Dennis Kirk and had it the next day or 2 at most and given to them to install. Let me start out this Saga by saying that I ride a Victory motorcycle. Nothing against Harley....just went another direction. So, myself and four friends go to visit some other friends in VA back in late July/early August. Knowing that I wanted to ride a specific motorcycle from Harley (a Road Glide), I made a reservation about 3 weeks prior. (Problem #1). Upon arrival, they said that I didn't have a reservation (even though I had the confirmation email with me) and the bike that I wanted (a quartz black Road Glide) was no longer available. Luckily, it was available for one of my friends that was with me. Even though he made his reservation after I did. (Problem #2) Now, for me they had a nice white and turquoise Road King. (Insert sarcasm here). No fairing. No stereo. Awesome color (more sarcasm). But hey.....I'm on vacation and I'm not buying right? So i deal with it. So, we all get out motorcycles (me on the crappy baby blue one) and ride to Quantico to check out the Marine Museum. The bike is making a funny noise from the front wheel, but hey, I don't ride a Harley....maybe that is normal. I have one of my fellow riders listen and they confirm what I thought. That something was wrong with this 2015 Road King with just over 2000 miles on it. So we head back to the Dealership. Upon arrival, the associate at the Rental counter doesn't believe me. (Problem #3) He asks me to go to the bike and show him. He points at the engine and asked if "That was the noise?" I said "No, it is in the front wheel, and only makes it while moving." He still doesn't believe me and decides to take it for a test ride. While he was gone, 2 service techs states that "They knew I was going to bring that bike back". I believe they were basing this on the fact that I expressed dissatisfaction with the color, but that isn't too important. Other than the fact that they were very rude. (Problem #4) Upon return of the test ride, it was indeed confirmed that I wasn't lying, and there was a noise (a clunking sound) coming from the front of the bike. So, they were able to get me another bike. (This time an Ultra Limited). Little better, but I will not get into my personal dislikes of the bike, as that isn't the issue. What the main thing was now is that we have wasted about 2-3 hours, where we could have been out riding. So, no further issues on the trip. I returned the motorcycle on July 31st and was done. That is until I checked my debit card account yesterday. The charges for the motorcycle just went through on 11/18. So, obviously confused, because I thought I had already paid, I called Quantico Harley and asked. They asked if I had rented a motorcycle over the summer (i had). And that the charges were just NOW going through. They have had several other calls with the same issue. So, Sorry. That was it. No explaination. Nothing else. (Problem #5). So, to make a long story longer (sorry for the rant), Quantico Harley is not a good business to deal with. Disorganized. Disrespectful. Horrible customer service. When I go out for Rolling Thunder next year, I will not return there. And I recommend nobody else to go there either. read more

My experience is poor with this dealer. Sales = need work. They had two opportunities to sell me a bike and failed both times. I bought a new car instead last year and a Street Glide this year from another dealer who wanted my business. Service = OMG, train wreck! I inquired about a 1000 mile service appointment for a new bike. First question, "did you buy the bike here?" Since I did not, the best the service guy would offer is sometime in September! This morning the dealer I bought my bike from called ME to schedule a ride in wait service for this weekend! They WANT my business, this dealership does not. I had a stage one upgrade on my 2018 Heritage Softail. I was satisfied with the installation. However, when I got my bike back, there were surface scratches on my bike--majority of them on the tank. Also, the bike had dried up dirty water spots on it. After I washed it, I tried getting the swirl marks out with Meguire scratch removal compound but could not remove them. One scratch was on the side battery cover and it didn't buff out. There was also a dimple/crease on the battery cover. When I chatted with the service department, all they could tell me was to bring the bike in to get it detailed. I spent $60.00 on a new battery cover. I will never have my bike serviced again at Quantico H.D. again! read more

Cheaper labor rates than other dealers around here but the service department is horrible. Brought my 2013 street glide in for a 10K service, they did the service and found my rear brakes needed to be replaced. They told me parts are ordered and it would take 1-2 days until they in and they put it on. A week later I called and they told me parts are in and they fixing the bike today and to call later in the afternoon to check on it. Called them again, they had me on hold for 20 minutes!! and turns out parts are not in and I have to wait longer. Took them almost 3 weeks to get my service done. Most likely not going back there to get anything serviced. Very disappointed. read more
