Tons of bacon (I'm actually going to ask for less, next time, and more avocado, just to allow the avocado to shine), fresh avocado, wonderfully gooey cheese, juicy tomatoes and crisp lettuce--what could be better?! It was served on a hamburger bun, which was smart--I don't think sandwich bread could have held all the ingredients as well. I paired it with a Heineken Zero, ice-cold in the bottle, which was a perfect complement to th sandwich. My husband had the Chimichurri Wrap, and shared a little with me; we both agree that it was DELECTABLE. The steak was perfectly cooked to order (medium rare), and the wrap was stuffed with all manner of other tasty ingredients, but the star was the chimichurri sauce. The blend of herbs (especially garlic) was perfect, and every bite was a panoply of flavors. Burg & Barrel is set back from the parking lot of the strip center, so it's not immediately visible, but it's a very short walk back to the building it's in. This actually makes it feel like a special hidden gem of a place, which I really liked. The restaurant itself is open and airy, and for sports fans there are multiple TVs tuned to the various sporting events. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Burg & Barrel in North Leawood, and we'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Sliced jalapeños & pineapple atop a 1/2 lb. burger with a sweet heat sauce, this burger will hit just right. Service is friendly and fast and the prices are right on par with the market. You can get in and out with a couple of burgers and a couple of drinks during special time for around $45 and that's a pretty good deal with a better value to boot.
