My partial menu soft opening dine-in experience was good, with room for improvement. I liked the friendly service and the spacious bar area. My grilled chicken sandwich with choice of side ($9.99) was served in 20 minutes and tasted great, with a nice portion of thick (3/4"), tasty, juicy, premium chicken on a fresh bun with fresh toppings. Unfortunately, the waffle fries were overcooked and cold, but I'll chalk that up to a soft opening glitch. I noticed two somewhat basic seating areas, a digital jukebox, and 70s and 80s background music. A full menu, happy hour, and event nights are on the way after the upcoming grand opening. The atmosphere at Harleys is laid back and fun. We were there on a Friday evening and it was fairly quiet. We had a margarita and an Angry balls to start. The margarita was mixer free. Made with just lime juice so you're tart but overall tasty. Hard to go wrong with an Angry ball. We split an order of Poutine and we'll.... The fries were good - nice and crispy waffle fries. The gravy was fine, tasted like it came out of a jar, and the cheese curds- well they were cold and thrown on top. Not melted at all. So overall a disappointing start. We shared the Chiefs burger, which had beef, ham, bacon, cheese, pulled pork and onion rings. It was underwhelming. We probably should have gone with something a bit simpler to really taste the flavors. The onion rings were crispy. Not beer battered. The steak fries were on point. Overall - not terrible but not the best. Service was excellent. I feel like this location has a hard time keeping restaurants in business. read more

FABULOUS FOOD and HOSPITALITY! We used to go to this location years ago when it was a Margarita's, hadn't taken the opportunity to visit it as Harley's Hideaway. But my wife and I deliver together for Doordash, and have picked up orders here before and it always smelled delicious. How right we were! Tonight we got to try three different burgers-- all terrific! My personal favorite is the "Queso Fiesta", and my wife Danielle loved the "Old Dog Gouda". Generous portions, too! What also stood out in a big way was the friendliness of both the guy at the bar and the gal at the grill. It was near midnight on a Saturday night, but they couldn't have been nicer-- seriously! Super chill. Found out they are the owners-- so the place is in good hands. They are truly awesome folks. It was takeaway tonight, but we look forward to returning for a date night soon! read more

We walked downstairs to a nice cool area. Seated promptly and great service. We only ordered truffle fries yummm and mozzarella wedges then funnel cake fries. Was all really good and portions were good sized. The menu looked great but we were hot so not super hungry after the pool. We will try for a full meal next time. read more

Food is great, service is great and owner is really friendly. We ordered the boneless wings in Buffalo sauce - awesome! We had "The Ol' Dog" burger with a side salad. The burger came with bacon and a delicious garlic aioli sauce. The salad had a wonderful garlic vinaigrette dressing and had onions and cheese. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with waffle fries. Great service and the owner has traveled throughout the US and has a lot of interesting stories - not overwhelming but more friendly sort of guy. Wonderful place. I will return. I flew in on a Sunday evening and was staying in Shawnee area. Needed some dinner. They were the only place open with food at that time of night. The owners were running their shop. I was a bit skeptical at first, being the only person there. Their phone was ringing off the hook with door dash orders, however. I got to speaking with the owner in between all the calls and multiple DD drivers coming in and picking up 2 orders at a time What a great couple of owners. I can't say enough about them. They were just great people trying to serve good food... I got wings and waffle fries and some beverages. Wings come naked and choice of about 8-10 sauces. I hope this restaurant does well. They have only been open since October 2020. Give them time to adjust their menu. If you don't like something, let them know. Don't just turn in a horrible review. They seem like the type to take your constructive input. My only issue was that they make their hot Buffalo sauce with the Frank's Red Hot as a base. I love hot food but think that sauce is horrible. We ate in and liked the vibe - it's a basement dugout but also some chairs up a couple steps overlooking the street. Our server Lonnie is a super nice, funny guy and went the extra bit to ensure we got what we needed and our to-go boxes closed properly (lol). Well we can say with a hundred percent accuracy we drove four hours to try this place out. We stopped here to eat some grub and visit with some old friends. This place has the makings to be a great neighborhood hangout. Close access to the freeway., menu for all kinds of taste buds, and a great staff. We tried just about everything we could try and still fit through the door. Loaded waffle fries, potato skins, onion rings, margaritas, burgers (with non meat options too), and more. I don't think there was anything we didn't like. Great little spot off the freeway. read more

Great little neighborhood bar and grill, in the place where years ago I spent TOO much time at Margarita's (before I knew there were much better Mexican options). Some very interesting takes on bar food, some of which can be pretty messy (even their menu warns this here and there). I have visited every reincarnation of this site and Harley's is the best in a long line. Only warning is that it is in the basement and you must negotiate a step flight of stairs in and out; so not handicapped-friendly. read more

I tried their food in person and it was fantastic. But then here I was late on a Sunday night and I had totally forgotten to eat lunch and dinner. I was starved. They weren't very many places open. I wanted to hop in the shower. So I used door Dash. Harley's, McDonald's, and a couple other places were my only option. The Harley's's burger was definitely the most expensive and when I was in the shower I kept thinking maybe I made a bad choice. but when it arrived I was totally thrilled! OK so it's not the cheapest burger in town, but they are open until midnight. You can get it delivered. And oh my God the portions are fulfilling. The lettuce was not soggy. The tomato was an actual slice of tomato rather than some gross and wilted thing. The waffle fries were hot. The burger was basically perfect. The chips tasted like they had been freshly fried. My only complaint is that I overstuffed myself but who really complains about that? I hope more people find this place. It's a GEM. Especially in a part of town where there aren't many things open that late at night. read more

Tried it for the first time tonight and couldn't find one thing to complain about. Server (possibly owner?) was kind, honest and attentive. I had the chicken wrap which was delicious. I'm not sure how they cook the chicken but WOW. Had happy hour specials so we also had half price chips and queso and surprisingly affordable beers on a Friday night to boot. Tried taco Tuesday!!! I understand this is a new business, the taco meat was way under seasoned the shells were a little stale the salsa had no taste mainly tomatoes and onions. I thought a little pricey for taco Tuesday compared to other establishments. I'm sure they will perfect the salsa and possibly throw some pico in the mix with chips in time. read more
