Loved this place for so many reasons. I ordered a blank key with a transponder for about $35.00. Gave Harmon's a call after Auto Zone said they couldn't cut or program keys (despite their website stating almost all locations do), Ace said they couldn't cut keys that weren't purchased from them, and another small business quoted me $175.00. Harmon's said they could cut and program the existing key for $80.00. Was there in a half hour, didn't have to wait to be helped, and they had it done in ten minutes once they got the faulty chip in the new key replaced. They have a bunch of different novelty keys, key holders, key hiders, bolt snaps, keyless locks, patio and commercial locks, other accessories for locks and keys. All super affordable. The shop itself is also super cool - old/vintage/antique safes, display cases and shadow boxes full of old locks and keys, antique doorknobs, etc. There's a Pac-Man arcade game in the corner and some other antiques - bubblegum machine, Toledo industrial platform scale. Real cool spot with a great value. Would and will recommend over and over. read more

Went to the shop to duplicate a key. When I walked in; the worker didn't speak. I stood at the counter for approximately 5 minutes; he still didn't acknowledge me. I looked for samples keys for a few minutes; still no response. Extremely unpleasant experience. Will not shop where my presence is ignored. Recommend you don't waste your time or money!!! read more

Ralph and Brian were fantastic and knowledgeable on my old door lock situation. John was very helpful on the phone and I brought the old doorknob down to show what they would be working with. They replaced it perfectly for a great price. They have everything in their store, they make CAR keys and they go ALL over the Valley. I locked my toddler in my car on accident. Was freaking out, as anyone would. I called harmon's as well as a few other places trying to figure out who could get my baby out the fastest. I wish I could remember the guys name, but they came so fast and when he got there I could tell he was moving with urgency. He was able to unlock my doors within a short amount of time, and didn't make me feel bad for accidentally locking my kiddo inside. He was quick, good at his job, and very understanding. What a great experience. Took a lock and key to Harmon's to confirm if the Key was correct or if the lock was broken. If they key was not correct to make me two copies of the new key. Within 3 Hours they called to say they had to make a new key. What a difference from my experience with another local Locksmith with multiple Stores. They had the lock and key for 5 days and not only didn't they do anything I tried to call them repeatedly across multiple days and the Store never answered nor returned my call even after their Corporate Headquarters got involved with them leaving messages for that Store Manager to contact me. Finally got my lock and key back after someone from their Headquarters went to the Store to get it for me. read more

Swift, expert service and a reasonable price. I needed a duplicate car key. I called Harmon's and was advised I would save money buying the key blank on line. I did so and brought the key blank to the shop. They cut the key, and programmed the embedded theft deterrent chip, all in about a half hour. The programming required the technician to sit in my car and perform a sequence of command inputs with a programmer instrument. He did so without leaving any mess or changing my driver seat settings. One time I was out of town and one of my tenants lost their key and I had the spare with me. NO STARS...Got robbed by Brian at Harmon's today. I went in to have a key made for my Harley-Davidson tour pack. I've had keys made here in the past for about $6. He brings the key he had made and lays it on the counter and doesn't say anything. Just looks at me. I say thank you, and was really confused with the interaction. I asked him what I owed and he said $20. I swear I thought he was joking! I told him I don't think I've got that much. He quipped, I've got a broom around here somewhere. At this point I REALLY thought he was joking. I shook his hand and said thank you, honestly thinking he was signaling to me that there was no charge. But then...he says "no really, it's 20 bucks." I asked if he was serious. He stated that he was, that it sure isn't free. I told him that's WAY more than I expected it to be. He said it's cheaper than buying a new lock. In fact, I told him I could have bought a brand new lock from Amazon for $14.95. I expected the key to be half that cost. That's why I went there to have him make the key. Lesson learned. I'd been told by 3 different stores that the only way to have a duplicate key made for my Kia (which didn't have a chip in it) was to make an appointment with the dealer's locksmith, who would charge around $90. Was referred to Harmon's for a separate issue, and as they are all things keys and locks, I asked, and within 2 minutes had a new key made for just $35. Super fast, friendly and inexpensive. So glad I waited to have this done - highly recommend these guys. read more
