I was a long-time customer of HARP (started with them circa 2002). I had them install my replacement a/c compressor and coil 3 years back which I have relied on them to service since installation. My complaint goes to poor (horrendous) customer care. Several months back (February or March I believe), in response to one of the many mailers I received from them, I scheduled an a/c tune-up and furnace cleaning (combo deal- separate appointments scheduled in the appropriate seasons). The a/c appointment was scheduled for June 10. on June 9 at 7:43pm they left a voicemail message advising me that they couldn't keep the appointment as they were "slammed" with emergency a/c calls and that I would have to be rescheduled. when I called the following day I was told that their technicians were all booked up until September... but that they would honor the coupon price (worth noting here, I never mentioned that the appointment had been scheduled pursuant to a discount coupon)...I'm sorry, are you trying to sell me ice cubes in the winter? I then explained that the point of the tune-up is to make sure that the system is working at peak efficiency during the cooling season! The representative then tried to tell me that it is too hot for the technicians to perform tune-ups in the cooling season and that it needs to be cooler for them to properly test the equipment [make sure that any of you replacing or repairing a cooling system in the middle of the cooling seasons, throw this back at them and see how they dance to a different tune]. So I'm thinking to myself "I'm sorry, but we haven't had our first heatwave of the season yet, and besides, this is the time of year you scheduled the service for when I called in response to the offer!) i told the dispatch person that a September appointment was not satisfactory and that by their actions they have very likely precluded me from finding any other HVAC company to come provide the service until after the cooling season as they too are busy. I asked for a call back from a manager in hopes of getting some recognition of the position they put me in. I was told that my information would be sent to a manager who would reach out to me...no surprise I didn't get that call. So, let's revisit the important points: 1) They knew I was a "discount" service call (one that they offered!) 2) They know from experience that the cooling season is busy with emergency appointments which can generate good profits 3) They don't hire or retain enough technicians to provide the services that they are selling 4) They would rather overbook themselves (like the airlines do) so they have steady business - to the detriment of their customers they string along (let's just put in here "former customer"). As incredible as the foregoing is, it was insult upon injury when during the course of the day, while waiting for that call that never materialized, I received another "promotional email" from them claiming "Weekend-ready Instant bookings available" INCREDIBLE!! I know it was a good company many years back, but I also understand that the owner sold it to a bigger company that has a central office outside the region And the way the business is run has changed (not for the better in my opinion). read more

After my entire new heating system was installed, I was told I was responsible for getting the "boot" put around the bottom of the furnace pipe that comes out of my roof. I always believe if you're going to do a job...do it 100%...NOT 90% !!!! I was told "we are not a roofing company". I told them..."I am NOT a HVAC company. After getting a roofing company myself I was told to send Harp the estimate to put the "boot" and they would send me a check to cover the cost. They are far and away the most expensive option and they've pushed replacement on both my central air and heating systems that were less than six years old and only needed smaller parts. They took over a month and 4 visits on my combination boiler, charging me for a site visit when their ultimate solution was to have me pose as an HVAC tech to call in to a technician only line to try to figure out a simple error code (they didn't want to deal with holding on the phone themselves). In both my central air and boiler The quoted prices were also more than triple than what I found at a reputable small business and it was a simple part each time. Couldn't have had a worse experience. Go with a local place if you can! read more

Only call this company if you want to have a difficult time. I unfortunately hired HARP to replace my old AC, and it was a mistake. Three workers were here for 12 hours on one day and had to send someone else out for another couple hours to finish another day. Way too long to REPLACE an AC. Turns out they didn't realize the voltage from the breaker didn't match the unit. How did no one from HARP realize that initially? Then after the 12 hour marathon day the house was a mess. It was raining that day and they kept walking off the drop clothes with muddy boats, black finger prints on the front door, the yard was left with wires, nuts, bolts, screws, pieces of pipe and so many zip ties. Closet where they brought the air handler to the attic was banged up. Fast forward 3 months and it's time to use the AC but the thermostat they installed doesn't have an option to turn it on. Called and was told someone would be over between 8am and 12pm. It's now 12:05pm and I haven't heard a peep from HARP. But why should I expect anything different? read more

Tech arrived to look at my 3 zone system that had suddenly stopped working. He removed a blown fuse from the circuit board that controls airflow and used a jumper so start testing where the short was coming from. Suddenly, I heard a pop and smelled something burning. At that point the tech told me that the board was bad and needed replacement. He wasn't encouraging about the availability of a replacement and told me if he couldn't find a replacement for my two-year old board 'my entire system would have to be replaced. He promised to look for a replacement board on Monday and let me know (he didn't follow up ). I was skeptical. My skepticism was heightened by his almost constant talk about his several expensive homes, cars, and other businesses. I'm not sure what that was all about but it served to raise concern in my mind. I called another HVAC company, who came out on Monday. They did a lot of checking and confirmed that the board was fine and it was the transformer that was blown...that's what popped and burned. They replaced the transformer and proceeded to spend 3 hours tracking down where the short was. HARP had actually blown the transformer and then just concluded I needed a new circuit board (that they estimated would cost $1200-&1500). Based on my experience, I can't in good conscience recommend this company. read more

I had a water leak and called Harp based on the fact that I'd seen their trucks and many print ads. I was happy with their ability to respond quickly. I had prepared for the arrival by opening the ceiling and identifying the source of the leak, providing lighting and a ladder, and shutting off and draining the water lines. The plumber was on site for a little over an hour. When the invoice was sent (charged on my credit card) it was for more than the price quoted. I asked 3 representatives from the company for a breakdown of labor and materials and was ultimately informed by the Customer Service Manger that "they don't bill that way" and I could not get that information. Although a cost adjustment was made, the price was still way out of line for the service provided. I will utilize a local independent plumber in the future and recommend that you do that too. read more

This is the latest after HARP has been out to try and fix an AC system they installed. Mind you 4 different technicians have been to the property and none seem to have been informed on the repair or what it would take to fix it. I had another AC company come out an inspect the unit HAAP installed. This is what the report stated: ent to look at heat pump system in the apartment. Outside I found the condenser line set to be kinked, uninsulated, the wrong size and the system to already have dye added to the system so someone has tried to leak check the system. The problem with the dye is that it should never be used in a system because it contaminates the refrigerant and the oil in the unit, these actions have taken years off the operation of the unit. Inside starting at the thermostat to be wired incorrectly which may be a leading cause to why the system is running incorrectly. Also found that part of the ductwork was cut out of the way by the previous company and they did not put the duct work back together and in fact just covered the whole on the end of the duct. The line-set is wrong as it is suppose to be 3/8 3/4 line-set and it is only 1/4 1/2 line-set which leads to less life of the system and improper running of the system. In order to fix the system we would have to reclaim any refrigerant from the system and then un do the brazed connections, run line hide, drill out the building pull new thermostat wire and a new line-set between the two units, braze pull a vacuum, charge the system and then re wire the system. Also this would not insure proper running of the system because the system has already been damaged from the improper installation Task # EHR-100 RRL-160 RRL-170 LNS-110 LST-100 Description Rewire Low and/or High Voltage - Indoor Equipment : - Sometimes, an event occurs which may damage the wiring to a component in your system. There are two types: high-voltage (running motors, for example) and low voltage (usually running indoor thermostats). Repairing the damaged wiring will allow voltage to operate inside of the indoor unit. Add Initial lb of R-410A Refrigerant : - The refrigerant system is a "closed-loop system" meaning that it does not require being "topped off" like a gas tank. In fact, in most cases, the refrigerant in the system will actually last longer than the system. If the system requires additional refrigerant to be added, it usually means there is a leak in the system. It is important that the leak is located and repaired before the refrigerant is added. This is for the initial pound of refrigerant in order to start diagnosing the system, however, more may be necessary. Add R-410A Refrigerant Each Additional lb : Additional refrigerant was necessary. Refrigerant Handling Lineset - 50 Foot : The lineset is the copper tubing that connects the indoor coil for the air conditioning unit to the outdoor condensing unit. Sometimes it is possible to re-use an existing lineset. We recommend replacing the lineset where accessible. In some situations when the old unit fails it can contaminate the tubing. Reconnecting the tubing to a new system can shorten the life of the equipment. Repair Line Set : - If the line set is leaking refrigerant or has other issues, such as a kink in the line, repair may be an option, instead of replacement. includes pump down of system, pressure test, vacuum and testing the system. additional refrigerant NOT included. My next step is to take them to Court to get my money back and find a reputable AC company that can perform the work and actually have technicians that know what they are doing. Should I really have to threaten to call the BBB in order to get permission to speak to customer relations? I had them come because my boiler kept chipping out. They came once, charged me and the boiler chipped out later that night. Had them come back out, clean my filters. It chipped back out. They came back and said my boiler is unsafe, they wouldn't have it in their own house. They told me they didn't feel comfortable relighting it and I need a new boiler. Quoted me a new boiler for 11K. I had someone else come out and they fixed it, without a problem. Moral of the story: they're either scammers or don't know what the hell they're doing. Also, the 24 hour service is BS. I'm updating my review. We haven't had any additional issues since the last fix. Like I said in my initial review, the company has tried to fix any issues, and they are always prompt when we call. The technicians that come out are usually very courteous and professional. My fiancé and I hired HARP to install a Bosch heating until last November 2018. We paid them 11k and have had nothing but problems with our system from the beginning. HARP has been out here to service the unit at least ten times, each time promising the issue was fixed. The unit shuts off randomly and we have to manually restart it in order to have heat and hot water. Last winter I had cancer, and it was incredibly stressful to not know if I was going to have heat or hot water while I was recovering from chemo and surgery. I've manually reset the unit five times today and it just won't stay on. The only positive is that HARP does admit the system isn't functioning properly and they do come out and fix it every time, generally that day. But this is just getting ridiculous at this point. Oh where to start... if you don't want to read my whole review, read the first paragraph: Do not work with these people. They are dishonest. They push new products on you when you have working ones. They don't do what they are supposed to do. They put your house and family in danger and have no remorse or regard for ethics. First off we had scheduled a tune-up months in advance and then get called the day before to say that they cannot come because "of emergency appointments". Okay, we are flexible and understand that things happen. On our new day the technician arrives and is extremely friendly however within minutes of leaving, the furnace has a problem (that it has never had before). It is emitting an odor and steam. We call back and someone comes out to give us an estimate on a new furnace but we also want the problem fixed. It is the middle of winter and we have an infant. The guy who did the estimate was very nice. However, the price we were given felt extremely high. He says that he called the manger to get the "best price possible" and we are getting such a great deal. "It's 32% off and I only got 30%, you are getting a better price than me!" He also said he called his manger to get someone out to fix our current problem. The guy said the order caused by our oil furnace wasn't a big deal because "truck drivers sleep in their Diesel trucks with them on all night and are fine". Ummm, what? Who says that? Well we wait. And nothing happens. We call back and say that no one can come out until tomorrow. We call back again and get that they can come out 6pm-10pm. We keep calling every hour and no one can get ahold of anyone to come out. Finally we get ahold of someone to tells us that we will be the first appointment in the morning. Well now we have a big problem, that was caused by the first guy. The odor is getting worse and worse. By the morning I wake up and leave with my baby to get out of the smell, so not to cause any medical issues. My husband stays and deals with the new technician who was an hour late. He essentially tells him that the furnace is broken, there is nothing he can do to fix it and we need a new one. Oh and he figured this all out but not taking anything apart on the furnace. They do look inside and see a fire on the bottom of the furnace. Oh cool, you guys almost set our house on fire. He calls his manager and they say the best they can do, for destroying our furnace that was working, almost kill us, is take off $500 to what they quoted us. Umm, what?!! Then the technician just abruptly leaves after doing nothing to solve the furnace problem, other than turn it off in 19 degree weather. He states "oh my phones beeping, I guess I have other calls have to get to". Thank god our brother-in-laws brother is an HVAC technician who lives in another state but was able to come and help us. He found everything that was wrong with the furnace (because of the first technician) and fixed them. He took part the furnace and said it wasn't even cleaned like Harp was supposed to do. He cleaned it, fixed Harps mistakes and got our furnace working safely again. After Harp told us that we needed to buy a new furnace with them immediately. We demanded a refund because it was well needed. Harp complied because they knew they were in the wrong. Oh and icing on the cake, the service manager never once apologized for ANY of this. If I could give 0 stars I would. Work with a HVAC company in your town. They will be cheaper and treat you with more respect. read more

HARP was running a promotion on a furnace service and follow-up spring service for the air conditioning. I called and booked an appointment for that week. The next day I received a call that they had no appointments available and they needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for a couple of weeks later. Received the appointment notifications via text / email. The day of the appointment they called an hour before they were supposed to come and said all their technicians were busy and the next available appointment was over a month and a half out. Told them to cancel all together, I need someone more reliable. It's too bad because I wanted to discuss upgrading my heating and hot water systems. read more

I have nothing good to say about HARP. My family has been a long-time customer and have used their services since at least 2010. However, this year I was unable to schedule a routine heating system inspection before the winter heating season. They wanted to schedule at the end of February!!! To add insult to injury they subsequently flooded me with advertisements saying they had same-day service for these inspections at a special rate. I called again, scheduled the service for the next day, and received a call minutes after making the appointment rescheduling it to the end of February. I canceled the appointment. Stop advertising services you cannot provide!!! This is deceptive advertising. Also get your house in order, so that the people who make your appointments know when blackout periods are in place for "no heat calls" due to staffing shortages!!! read more

Scheduled A/C maintenance two months in advance. Called to confirm our appointment and was told 3 days (1 working day)before our appointment they had to reschedule due to all of the emergencies. This was today November 26 for an appointment on November 29. The reschedule date was in February and again we called they did not call us to let us know. How is this considered acceptable? The customer service was atrocious and they obviously do not understand how a scheduling service is intended. Needless to say, Harp will never get our business and hopefully won't get yours either. Seems like this is a common practice based on the other reviews. The good news is it's 2021, and I don't have to rely on bad companies to do work anymore. We signed up, months ago for a deal where Harp tunes up the Heat and Cooling for a package price of $39 and $49 respectively, We still have the ad we signed up under. We waited months, due to their reported backlog. Today the technician showed up but told us they could not honor that price. The new price was much higher. I do not blame the technician at all. He was friendly and tried to coordinate with the office. But they would not honor the deal we signed up for. Now we have to find a new contractor. I didn't even bother to mention the absurdity of signing up in May for an A/C tune-up and having them finally attempt to do it in September 21. read more

Besides being rescheduled 6 times this summer for AC Maintenance, last week our furnace maintenance for yesterday was rescheduled and today we lost heat and hot water at 5am. Was told someone can come out 2 days from now (40 degree weather with 2 little kids at home) and will still have to pay the $85 diagnostic fee. Was told a manager would call me within 2 hours to see if there was anything available sooner but no call came, going on hour 7. I'll start with the good. The technicians that came to my house were professional and were ready to get the job done. The technicians quickly realized that they were not given the correct dimensions for the project. They had to stop working to get the corrected sizes to install the duct work. By the time they received the new duct work it was almost time for them to leave. The were not able to complete the job. Mind you there were two units that needed to be installed. They were only going to install one because they didn't get the correct duct work for the second. I tried calling the main office but no one would take my call. I was put on hold, I was disconnected several times, I was told that someone would call me back. No one ever called me back. Before I signed the contract they were calling me every day. After signing the contract I can't reach anyone. Don't believe their BS about customer service. It does not exist. If you do business with them make sure after you speak to the shady sales person you get a tech to come out and take measurements to ensure they have the correct dimension to get the job done correct. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the install technicians were great. HARP came to install our new AC and Furnace on 8/30. At the very end of the install we were told that the wrong equipment was installed. Now I have air blowing out of the wrong vents. It caused our walls and ceilings to sweat when doing laundry. It turns out our equipment was back ordered which leads me to believe they knew we were getting incorrect equipment. I have yet to get an answer from anyone at HARP as to when they will install the correct equipment. All anyone has told me is that a Mike, the service manager will call me. Mike has yet to call me and it has been 4 days. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Totally regret it. read more

New home owner, I don't know what the previous owner did. What new home owner ever does know what the previous owner did or didn't do? I called Harp out to fix two showers. They partially fixed just one but then didn't have the remaining part and couldn't fit in the time to get the missing part because then they had to go to the next job. Now one bathroom is leaking even though I haven't used it since, and the other bathroom is only partially fixed. This company has invested a lot of money in customer service hotlines and fancy apps to tell me where the driver is on the road, but I need an actual plumber that has the time to do the job until it's done. My story is repeated below by many others below. I answered an ad in February for a/c work and was given a date of May 22nd. I received a notice the day before to confirm the appointment. The morning of my appointment I get a call to cancel. The next available date is August 20th !! I was told they were going to be "busy" until then. On another occasion this spring Harp did come out and diagnosed a heating element issue. They had the part back at the shop. Next I get a hard sell on buying a service contract which I politely refused. They have never returned to fix the heating problem and it's been 5 weeks now. A terrible company based in Wilmington, Delaware under the name of Horizon Services. Consumer Protection Department and Attorney General office should put this "company" out of its misery. read more

why the heck didn't i check yelp first... well because i had a fountain in my mech room managed to get the water off and called but it was 4th of july weekend so my usual guys were off or on emergency rates figured i would try harp... as other reviews have mentioned they are understaffed and overbooked - their appointment system is in no way tied to them at all and they aren't aware of when you book or time you select, its just a sham to make you feel like you're on the schedule i had an "appt" for 2pm - 6pm monday, around 530 i called got customer service and they said they'll connect me to dispatch, where i waited on hold, for literally an hour before using another phone to call in again, and again and again trying all the different numbers they have on file thats when i noticed they don't have messaging on social media or email listed, a very bad sign... fast forward to finally getting someone and they explained that their online scheduling system just plain doesn't work! also that i was (now at 7pm) still 3rd in line after the current job which the tech in the area was working on so it might be late at night or 2am in morning before someone can get there this matches what all the other reviewers said, basically they are always understaffed and just go to the biggest problem first no matter what so i told them forget showing up at 3am if they were even going to, just send someone out first thing in the morning the next morning at 8am the tech arrived and immediately told me the cost was going to be way higher than initially quoted, 1800 instead of 800 that the customer service people told me and also not to try not paying him after he did the work since he'll just disable the water before he leaves (alarming that this was part of his initial introduction... so i get the bill and it is itemized, so i see the labor $756 for an HOUR of work and the charge for the tank i needed which i found on amazon for $63 they charged $724! I thought my long furnace replacement nightmare fiasco with Harp had ended. A new Harp technical manager (JD) appeared on the scene; we negotiated a reasonable agreement on conditions for completion/payment, and after test period I remitted full $14,000 payment to Harp via BofA on 5/23. I advised JD by email. Bank sent check on 5/24. On 6/1, I received the second rude and abusive Harp telephone call. I also advised JD that check was sent. On 6/2, I contacted the bank, asked them, to investigate, and informed JD. No response. On 6/3, the bank responded with the check number. I forwarded information to JD. No response. Also that day, bank informed me that they had contacted "Beth" at Harp to try to resolve matter, but Harp had not been cooperative. I advised JD, but no response. On 6/5, I prudently stopped payment on the check which appeared lost in the mail (or perhaps in Harp's back office). I advised JD of the stop payment the next morning (6/6) at 10:09. I asked Harp to acknowledge they understood check was no longer valid and suggested replacement options. No response. I considered this to be very strange, even by Harp standards. On 6/8 at 5:29 pm, I received a Fraud Alert from BofA Security advising check had been deposited somewhere. I followed up with the bank and advised JD of the ongoing investigation. I reminded him that I had requested Harp advise me they understood a stop payment had been issued and he had not replied to my last 4 messages. On 6/9, JD responded saying he had forwarded messages and admitted that Harp itself had made deposit. After consulting with bank, on 6/16 emailed JD, asked for details on check, expressed hope we could complete transaction in next few days. No response. Beyond bizarre! Seems very probable that Harp knowingly deposited invalid check. I'm not a lawyer, but... After 19 months and 87 emails sent, this farce is not yet over. IMHO, Harp is a large, dysfunctional, Rube Goldberg-machine. Buffoonery reigns! Be warned! read more

They called me yesterday saying they had a scheduling conflict and they needed to push my appointment out to next summer! What kind of a scheduling conflict. We called about an A/C issue that involved a medical emergency. They did not show up, their call center was unresponsive, and their customer service person finally called back 5 DAYS LATER. I've been a customer with this business for several years, even replaced my system through them last year with a service contract. My appointment was confirmed TWO times, first by some nasty bitch in the office, then the tech. At 5:50ish PM, nasty bitch calls to tell me that the tech isn't coming and I need to reschedule! I ask for a supervisor or manager; bitch tells me that no one is available until tomorrow morning and the only way to contact one is for her to email her. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! I did not rearrange my day just to have to do it again tomorrow!! Bitch continues the lies but I am NOT THE ONE!! Not today!! Am I supposed to believe there's only one tech?? I'm done with the attitude I'm getting from this bitch(she wouldn't tell me her name so I gave her one that fits her ignorant uncouth attitude). I disconnected and called back. I got someone else who DID get the supervisor for me. I spoke with the supervisor, advising him of the issue. While I'm on hold I get an email to confirm my appointment for TOMORROW between 2p-6p! I didn't schedule it!! BITCH took it upon herself to put me in any slot she felt like. I wish I could have them take this damned unit back! If their "new" way of doing business is like what happened today, I want nothing to do with them!! BITCH could have done what Savanna did and got the supervisor when I asked for one(THANK YOU Savanna). The supervisor got someone out here before 8(Thanks Dan). The tech(Dorian, THANK YOU) fixed the issue in less than 10 minutes!! I'm writing all of this to say that the ignorant uncouth BITCH could have done the same thing!! But no! She's going to try and make me take what she wants to give me, and her nasty attitude, and be happy with it!! HELL NO!! If she's the kind of employee you have representing the company, you will be losing a lot more customers. BITCH needs to realize that she gets paid because of customers and the business from the CUSTOMERS!! She needs to be fired. I am not the one; not today or any day! Terrible customer service, no follow through, disorganized billing, disorganized records

Sooo many things. Multiple reschedules on their part even though I once drove from an hour away to be there only to be canceled an hour into the "window". Next time they came well past the scheduled window--I waited 4.5 hours for them. They also "condemned" my furnace telling me some portion of it was "cracked" even though they could not "see the crack". They wanted to turn off the power to the furnace....on a cold night that could have led to pipes freezing. I had to sign a release form to keep the power on! The service tech was eager to have "a sales agent" come give me a new furnace estimate the next day. Needless to say I got a second opinion. That company told me my furnace was safe and functioning appropriately. Yes, it's older but has been maintained regularly. To Harp's credit, when I called to review the events, they were empathetic, they refunded me the service fee and of course said they would address this with their technician. Given the myriad Better Business Bureau complaints on file, I hope that's true for the sake of other customers down the line. Edit: I don't know why this shows as Claremont, NH. They are WILDLY overpriced. Looking to install a ductless multizone system and they are asking for roughly 21 grand, whereas other companies are quoting around 11k-13k for the same exact job and equipment. I guess it's easy to get people to pay these prices when they are dealing with poor customers that aren't experts in the field. What a scummy scam and business model. read more

We had Steve Ungar out to our grandmother's house yesterday to look at her unit. Do to the experience we encountered we will NEVER use HARP again! We have cameras set up in the home due to her being elderly, so we can check in on her. We have video proof of Steven telling her that if she does not get a new unit he will put her on a do not service list. I cannot believe HARP would allow someone like this to work for the company and to try and scam older people. I ended up reaching out to a smaller company and the gentleman that came inspected the unit, explained all his findings and even explained what Steve found better than Steve did. We were told from this other company that there is nothing wrong with it and it still has some years left, because we have been maintaining it. I am personally reaching out to the Better Business Bureau and Horizon because I am sure this is not the first time something like this has happened. I am appalled that this man still has a job if he is pulling stunts like this. I understand companies need to make money but going about it immorally and threating an elderly person is not the right way to meet your quota or keep a customer. I recommend that no one use this company and if you do make sure to tell them that you do not want Steve Ungar at your home because not old does he not know what he is talking about but he will try to sell you something you do not need. read more

I've scheduled service 3 times with this company and they always give you a 4 hour window and NEVER arrive within the time quoted! They call you after the missed time and want to come out which requires another wait time not to mention the time it will take to service your equipment. If you reschedule the appointment, then they want to reschedule you in another 6 months. I will be taking my business somewhere else. They are NOT the only hvac company around. read more

Really zero stars. Your technician Mike tried to take advantage of a woman who knows nothing about boilers by being a total alarmist about its condition. He showed me part of the boiler on the bottom that appeared badly damaged. He stated he may have to condemn the boiler and was going to test it. He had me worried about going to sleep at night. I called my husband and he came home as I wanted him to see the problem. Guess what? The damaged "part" was a piece of insulation that he literally pulled out and threw in a trash bag when my husband started asking questions and looking closely at things. He finished the job and said the boiler was fine. Certainly not brand new but in working order and has plenty of years left. What a jerk. I heard these guys get commission if they can get their salespeople out to replace a unit. read more

I had to make several calls until some poor receptionist had to break the news that my appointment had been canceled. I asked for a manager, and was left on hold. Multiple calls never returned.
