Harper and John's is a top of the line luxury brand. This was felt in the fabric options and the space it holds along with the excellent service it provides to each customer. My love and I got married Aug. 5 of this year. That customized Harper and Jones tux fit her like a glove. It should have been in GQ magazine. The fabrics we chose and the vision we had came to life. Brittany is the jewel that helped to bring our dream all together. Her exceptional customer service, knowledge, and business acumen really sealed the deal. We felt welcomed and appreciated for selecting Harper and Jones. The one of a kind tailored tux created by Harper and Jones is one dreamed of by many but only worn by one. This will be one of those "part 1 of 2" reviews, as the type of business here includes a sizing first, then a 4-6 lapse between delivery of product. So, for the sake of awareness in our 140 character world, I'm going to write this review based on my initial experience with DJones, then follow-up as appropriate when product arrives! Background: After reading a story in the Dallas Morning News in December about this start up venture by Drew Jones, I decided to take them up on some of their services by getting fitted for some custom shirts (a must by the way). Upon my initial contact via e-mail, Drew and I made an appointment for him to meet me at my house to perform measurements and review fabric swatches for the shirts (I eventually decided to get 4 shirts in total, 3 or more gets you a 10% discount...always a plus). He was promptly on time (new years eve afternoon, rainy and nasty) and proceeded to work with me the next hour taking measurements for not only the shirts, but for a suit should I decide to get one in the future. Most of the time was reviewing swatches, and afer MUCH deliberation, I chose 3 cotton blends (aka "wrinkle free") and one 100% cotton. Drew was wearing one of he wrinkle frees for context, which is certainly a plus. As a favor to me, Drew is rushing one of the shirts for me to experience quickly, then the others will come soon after. As a promise to him, since this business model is very reliant on grass-roots marketing and customer satisfaction, I took several of his business cards to distribute to other friends of mine that would definitely enjoy the work of a custom fit shirt. Since this is a very personal transaction, I must say that Drew was extremely professional in his dress (he was wearing a suit/tie) and his intereaction with me. A very personable, competant and motivated young man, I look forward to working with him for many shirts to come. If you are in the market for custom made dress shirts, I cannot recommend DJones enough. Drew (the owner) has been more than patient with me by making sure the shirts I recieved are exactly how I want them. I will admit I'm not the easiest customer to please, but Drew is simply the best! The quality of the shirts and the prices ($70-$90) cannot be beat. I've dealt with many other custom shirt makers and DJones is hands down the best. He will come to your house or place of business to take all the measurements and deliver the shirts. I cannot say enough good things about this business. read more

No other clothier can compare to the high quality and exquisite service these guys can offer. I bought two 3-piece suits and a couple of shirts and I must say my confidence just jumped ten fold! Hands down the best suits and shirts I've ever purchased AND worn. Not only do they provide great quality products but the service is to the 9... they become your own personal wardrobe adviser. I used Drew Jones Clothing about 3 years ago as a surprise birthday gift to my husband. My realtor actually recommended him to me, so I went through Drew's website, called to make an appointment, and a few days later a handsome man came knocking on our door! I had my husband open it because I said your surprise is here!! He thought, wow, you got me a man for my birthday?! HA! Long story short, Drew and his team sat with us for a couple hours, walked through Joseph's closet to see what he's in need of, got a look at his personal style, asked tons of questions, and out came the booklets of different suit styles, fabric choices, etc. From the a wife's standpoint, I really had no idea how much details goes into this whole thing. My husband had a few custom suits prior, and I was never really blown away at how they looked on him. He has an athletic build, and I always felt like his suits showed off all the wrong parts. Having fittings with Drew, the first thing I noticed were how many more measurements they took compared to the other suit guys we used to go to. Honestly, it was such an awesome experience. We've been getting suits from Drew now for 3 years, and it's a nice added bonus that I can just call him up and say Joseph's in need of 'this color shirt and tie' and because they have all his information, they have it made just in time for a birthday present. We've even gotten my father in law a suit from Drew, and I'm pretty sure he goes to bed in it because he loves it that much. You really can't go wrong with D. Jones...the experience itself is above and beyond what you would expect when shopping for suits. The quality of the suit is something you notice right away- My hubby constantly gets compliments on his new suits- we've ordered a handful by now. Having Drew turned my boring suit shopping experience at the store, to a fun thing for us to do together while at home. I cant say anything about the quaility of the shirts because I never actually got to put it to the test. I ordered and paid for 3 shirts in late December as a test and told 2-3 weeks. As of latte Jan I had not heard "anything" so I contacted the sales rep. Since I did not get any response I contacted the company and eventually the Drew Jones, the president the first of Feb. I soon learned that the salesperson had quit and no one was monitoring her co email, or looking into her accounts. Drew promised me the shirts which turns out were in their facility. Drew personally delivered the shirts but there was a problem with how the cuffs were made. He said he would them back to Hong Kong (or wherever) to have the cuffs corrected but because of the chinese new year it could take a couple of weeks. 3 weeks later I followed up and was told any day now. Last Friday I was "told" the shirts had been returned and were still not right. Apparently his tailors do not understand convertible cuffs. Drew offered to send them back again or a full refund. I took the refund which was made to my account. Drew and his company get points for processing the refund immediately. They loose it on all other fronts because they justs seemed to have a lot of execuses. read more
