I asked Harley to look at an area rug that my dog had been sick on - all over it. He was honest and said the rug would not fare well due to its fiber content, and advised me to not spend the money. Since he was there, I asked if he wanted to clean a bedroom carpet. He did a great job on the carpet, even removing a stain that another carpet company had tried to remove before. Our microfiber couch hadn't been cleaned in over 10 years and with a kid and a dog it was really dirty. Harper got it looking almost brand new. They also cleaned our travertine tile floor and it looks great as well. The price was lower than other places as well. I recommend them. read more

My cleaning was booked after my initial phone 15 minute call - much easier than I expected. The gentleman over the phone produced an exact quote without having exact sqft to go from - I didn't have that info readily available. Vladimir came in to clean our carpets: he was extremely nice, very professional, and did an amazing job! Amazed by how quickly he worked, yet the results were above expectation. He answered maintenance and treatment questions and offered advice. Vladimir did such an excellent job today. I have dogs that just refuse to be completely house broke. After finishing the rooms I wanted cleaned, he explained that the smell that remained would dissipate after the carpet dried. He then told me about an enzyme spray he could use that would remove the odor, explained how it worked, etc. There was no sales job or pressure. He informed me and let me decide. Harper Carpet Care was great! I reached out to them this morning, after discovering my dog had gotten sick in our soon-to-be nursery (a very disturbing site!). I got a call back maybe 20 minutes later and was able to set up an appointment for the same day. I was given an arrival time of 2-3pm, and Najee showed up right at 2! I had them do all the rooms in our home, since we were overdue anyway, and was very happy with how thorough the service was. Best carpet cleaning EVER! With 2 large dogs - wet dog smell just happens. After Vlad cleaned our carpet and wool rugs - no odor at all. And the colors in the the wool rugs just popped. Vlad recommended a treatment that prevents dirt from penetrating the rugs. The colors are still wonderful - like new. He was early to the appointment, walked in greeted us with who he was and what he was here to do I walked him to the rooms that need to be treated. Based on lots of other good reviews I booked him to repair a spot where some plastic had melted into my carpet and to clean the rest of the carpets in my house. He showed up on time and was easy to work with. The damage turned out to be an easier fix than he thought and he charged me less than the estimate. Later, as scheduled, Najee showed up, even a little early, to clean the rest of the carpet in my house. He was pleasant and got right to work. I had this same carpet cleaned by a different company about a year ago and Najee got them much cleaner today than they had last year. The five stars here is definitely merited. Harley and his wife came over and cleaned my furniture and my rug. They were quick and thorough and a couple of the nicest people out there. Harley was such a nice guy that I sent him home with one of my homebrews! The only complaint I could possibly have is that his waterpump/generator thing is amazingly loud. It sounded like a Pit Bull was strung up by his nuts with a pound of raw meat just out of his reach while a helicopter hovered just a few inches above my house. I felt a little bad for my elderly neighbor who had to go inside because the noise was too loud. But hey, that may be normal for that kind of equipment... regardless, it was still a perfect experience. The price was more than reasonable and the quality was definitely there and that is all you can really ask for when you get this type of thing done. Harley just called after reading my review & is coming back out TOMORROW to try to tackle the pet stains that reappeared again! Talk about great customer service! Let me clear up something from my first review- I'm really not sure that any carpet cleaning could have kept the stains from coming back to life. I'm just grateful that only some of them came back. Harley did a great job and the only reason I didn't give five stars is because the stains came back- which may not have been preventable, but he did say he has another trick up his sleeve that may keep them at bay this time around, so fingers crossed. Harley couldn't have known the stains would come back to life (the carpets looked perfect when he left) & I didn't think they could be treated any better, so I didn't call him back but I'm SO impressed that he reached out & is going to give the stubborn stains a run for their money. read more

I have a particular room in my house that was just down-and-out nasty. When I moved into my duplex two years ago the landlord said he had the carpets "cleaned" but in actuality he rented one of those thingamajigs from HEB and did a half-assed job himself. God knows how old some of the stains were on that carpet when I moved in! Since I've lived there I've had a year worth of cat vomit/urine/spray go down in that room. One of my cats has had stomach issues and did not adapt well to living with a dog! None of the over the counter stain removers would make the stains or smell go away. I decided to hire these guys per their stellar yelp reviews. I only had the funds to do one room so he made a special trip for his minimum price to have my room cleaned. Harper wasn't what I expected, he was a super cool and friendly dude. He also has a cat which earns points in my book. He has this awesome product for pet odor removal that the public can't buy and was TOTALLY worth the extra $20. Due to a mechanical error they arrived later than scheduled, but called ahead of time to make sure that was okay with me. Considering I've made appointments for various things before and have experienced the no-call no-show, I was pleased that he made the effort to be courteous. The carpet looks outstanding, about as outstanding as a duplex built in the 80's with standard carpet can look!! They cleaned my red microfiber couch, love seat and chair as well as an area rug. The furniture had all kinds of food and pet soil on it and the microfiber had been matted down in places from all of the traffic and use this furniture has had. The technicians were very courteous and very thorough and the results are AMAZING!! My furniture looks like it is brand new! Knowing I was tight on cash and had family coming into town, I chose to go with Harper, although "you get what you pay for." I have to say, in this case I got what I paid for and more. Harley picked up my call when I asked and gave me an exact quote on my description. I had 3 rooms, stairs, and a hall shampooed for $118 including tax. Harley made an appointment with me right away. On the day of, he called me in advanced to tell me he was arriving late and arrived promptly at the revised time. They did the job quickly and professionally. My stairs and carpets look much better. I only gave 4 stars because other yelpers made it sound like they could remove crazy, tough, imbedded stains, but they didn't. They said it was the best they could do. I can still see a difference between the high traffic and non-high traffic areas. Granted, the difference is not as stark as before. They are really professional and friendly.
