While home visiting we were meeting a friend for breakfast and we decided to have breakfast at the Harrison House. I haven't been here in a while but I always remember them having a pretty decent breakfast. When you arrive it has a decent parking lot, the area does get busy on Thursday-Saturday with people visiting the Amish Market that is located behind it. When we arrived the parking lot was pretty empty and it was around 8am. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated at a table to wait for the rest of our party! Our waitress was very friendly and grabbed us drinks as we waited. Once everyone was there she came by to check-in again, and let us know to take our time (she knew we were catching up so she didn't bother us to put in the order so fast.) The dining room also filled up VERY fast like 10-15 minutes after we got there! We put our order in, I got the two eggs and style and it came with home fries, toast and I added on an order of bacon, extra crispy. My Fiancée ordered the chunky monkey pancakes which were peanut butter chip pancakes topped with fresh bananas, walnuts, and Nutella. My dish was very good! I loved the home fries, which is something I don't get often living on the West Coast! The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the eggs as well! Overall my dish hit the mark perfectly! My Fiancée's dish was very good as well! She did say that if you love a sweet breakfast, this is definitely something you should order! They do not skimp out on topping the hotcakes with Nutella or walnuts and she said that it was really delicious! Overall, we had a great experience here. It's an average Diner in south Jersey so don't expect 5-star butler service. Its fast, convenient and friendly, growing up we used to come here all the time and it still feels liek the same restaurant quality to me!

My husband and I came here for an early dinner on a Saturday. Great service and great food. Casual, family friendly, not overly crowded.

Continental sandwich- egg, tomato and provolone.

This is a community staple. My son calls it the tea cup diner because of the logo. Today I ordered my staple from when I was a teenager - the continental- croissant with provolone cheese, fried egg, and tomato with home fries. Just the way I remembered it. The home fries were delicious. The little man had the mini hot cakes with chocolate chips, they use the mini chips which is more ideal. He ate 2 and we brought 2 home. It was a weekday with school off, service was great and speedy due to it not being super crowded.

Went here for breakfast with two family members. None of us enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is quite outdated and the service was subpar.

The ambience is really nice but has a lot of different things to look at inside. It's very cute and very tidy and even the restrooms are really cute and very clean. I met with a couple girlfriends and we split a couple dishes. We started with the matzoh ball soup and the crab bisque, which were both delicious and very flavorful , next..... we ordered the turkey burger, which was delicious and we got a side of mixed fruit, which was great and another dish we ordered was the blueberry pulled pork, which was delicious, and they can also do it gluten-free. We did order a side of french fries that was a huge portion and they looked like fresh cut and the skin was on the fries and everything was full of flavor and very fresh. We all agree that we can't wait to return and try more things on the menu. A lot of their dishes they can do dairy free or gluten-free. It was really great to have these options in place everything was very flavorful. The service was excellent and it seemed like they had a couple people that were training and shadowing other servers, but everyone was really chipper and really sweet. It is a hidden gem and the parking lot was really awesome so that we could park securely, but the town looks very walkable and really neat. I would definitely love to come back when I have more time. I cannot wait to try more things on the menu

It was a pleasant location and I waited for my dining partner standing outside an older looking building, which I thought was a nice venue for a restaurant. But, then I saw my dining partner's car turn into a driveway or street or parking lot. a few buildings down from where I was. Surprise. surprise they were going to the right location. I just parked in the extra parking lot. not the greatest start to an evening's dinner. However, once I discovered the real restaurant, I found that we were eating at a quaint quality dining location. the menu was interesting with some very simple choices. However, I was disappointed to find out there was no soup of the day just french onion and their matzah. Service was prompt and friendly, which you always want when you dine out. Well that was until we were encouraged to leave because reservations were coming in (We had finished dining And we're just conversing so it was not that troublesome that we were basically told we had a couple of minutes to get out of the restaurant.). Our dinner options were a salad and pasta, I chose the small portion of pasta based on the waitress's recommendation and she was right. The food was all really good, which will probably lead to a return visit. The Blueplate appears to offer many interesting options with music and other activities. So kudos to them.

The restaurant itself is very nicely designed, it's giving modern farmhouse. When we came in, the place was packed. Our waitress greeted us and gave us the specials and menus. I ordered just a Pepsi and my Husband ordered the Naples Lager by Bonesaw. It took a very long time to get our drinks, and my husbands beer was pretty flat, probably like 10 minutes. We waited another 10 minutes to place our order. I got the Pizza Pizzazz. It was good, but not as good as the last time when we had it to go. I also got a Lemon Drop martini which was average and my husband got the espresso martini which was also pretty average. The waitress brought out the Mille Foglie cake to go like we asked, where I devoured it on the way home in the car. This was the best part of the meal. Overall, this is a pretty good place for pizza. The pizza Pizzazz was extremely unique and something you don't see at most pizza places and the cake was to die for. Service could've been better, we probably would've left 20 min earlier if we didn't have to wait for the waitress.

That was at least 15 years ago, but I'll never forget that. Anyway, I was surprised when my mom raved about Monarch and we pulled into PB's space. When we walked in, I asked the host for a booth away from the door (it was a frigid evening), which I'm guessing she didn't hear. She then tried to sit us two booths from the door, and my mom shrieked about it. It was the night before my dad's funeral and we were both very emotional, and the host was clearly and understandably upset that my mom yelled. I apologized and explained why my mom reacted that way, but the host literally didn't say a word back to me and then purposefully ignored us as we paid and left later on. We haven't had the support that other folks have in these types of situations, such as a meal train, so as such we had to go out to eat for food. Trust me, it wasn't my preference. Our server was nice but very green, and he had to go check on the answers to questions several times. My mom ordered broiled crab, which she loved, and I ordered a pasta special, which I didn't love, but I fully blame it on my own tastebuds just not functioning correctly right now. The manager who came over to check in was super super kind and empathetic as I sat there crying in the booth. I really appreciated that. Prices seemed reasonable and I would go back under better circumstances sometime if in the Glassboro area in the future.
