Is there a option for no stars? My sister's car was worked on here. Within the last month. two weeks later IF that, it breaks down AGAIN!! You know what the shop told them? It's not covered under warranty because they TOOK her car home to work on it. 3,400 dollars and the issue was NOT fixed and no warranty. Friend went there for oil change. Harry's didn't charge them because he damaged their vehicle. Friend has pictures of damage. Harry admitted damaging vehicle and wants them to go to a friend's body shop rather than turning in to his insurance. I say that is not right! I am from upper MI and needed air and tire check. Went in and explained what I needed and the problem with my car saying I had low tire pressure. Tire attendant came out and not only filled and checked tires in this cold weather, it was at NO CHARGE! This was so nice considering I did not know the area and didn't know who would be able to help me. He was so nice and assured me I would make it home just fine! Thank you! read more

I had Dan do a major SUV detail for me. And when I say major, I mean that it took him all day to do. The car stank and was FULL of dog hair (the German Shepard kind, so quite tough to remove). He cleaned over and over and over again just to make sure that he got as much of the hair as possible. The car sat in the 90-degree sun yesterday all day, and this morning when I went to get into the car - it smelled great. So he did a good job of getting both the smell and the hair out of my vehicle. He did this all for the bargain price of $150. Definitely suggest Dan if you need to get a solid cleaning done on your car. I talked to the dealership in Brooklin, MI and the guy they suggested wanted $150 to start. I'm sure that after all the work that went into cleaning my car that it would have been significantly higher. Very pleased with the work and price. Highly recommended. read more

I recently took my 2005 Vibe to Harry's for a day of detailing, and I was super impressed by the job that was done by Dan. I cannot believe how clean my car is and how well they removed stains from the carpets and upholstery. My husband made a snarky comment afterwards that he didn't realize my car seats were supposed to be the color they are now that they were cleaned....needless to say, it looks good! They did a really through job and spent quite a bit of time on my car for a very reasonable price. Their dog is a total sweetheart as well! They charged me $28 to look at the vehicle which I didn't know about until I picked it up which wasn't a big deal. Gave me a price of almost $600 to replace from the converter back on the exhaust. TOO HIGH, so had to shop around. Took it to a place in Belleville and they found a small hole in the resonator which Harrys NEVER said there was a hole. I wanted to see for myself and the guy in Belleville showed me with the car on the lift. YEP, just a hole in the resonator. Price to fix it with tax,etc. $106. This place was going to sell me $500 more stuff that I didn't need!!!!! read more

This place reminds me of the quality gas stations that were in my neighborhood as a child. I pulled in today when my car was overheating. A very nice, handsome man immediately asked if he could help me and looked at my car right away. He added some coolant and sent me on my way to the dealership for a warranty repair. No charge! When my car is out of warranty, I'll go here for all my repairs! read more

I can't say enough good things about Harry's! Rick and his son Dan bring an honesty and expertise that will remind you of an old-time service station. They sweat the details and don't take the typical swap it out for a new part because it takes less time approach. Here's one of many examples. I've got a 2003 Lincoln LS and I brought it in due to a misfire and engine cutting out. Rick noticed that the throttle body was sticking and instead of replacing it with a $600 part, he took the old one apart and cleaned it. Then because it was still misfiring he determined that the coil-on-plugs were interfering with the electronic throttle. So he moved the coils around to remove the interference. He spent about 15 hours working on the car and could have charged me for them like the car dealers. Instead he told me that he couldn't charge me for all those hours and only charged me for a fraction of them! These guys have earned my loyal business for everything on my car from repairs to tires! Have had my car there twice. 1st time a couple of years ago it was a sensor error. He reset it no charge so I had they change my oil so I could at least pay them for something. Had it towed yesterday he worked on it and diagnosed it as a timing chain told me to take it to a dealership to have the work done so it would be covered under gm's warranty. The dealership to look at the car wants @$200.00 Harry's will always be my go-to place. Thank you!! read more

Aftermarket part broke on my Element. Had to get the car towed there after hours on a rainy weekday. Part had to be ordered from California so it took over a week to get it to us to give to them to get rolling on fixing the car. He was nothing but patient with us.
