Don't order the taquitos. I didn't get a picture because my granddaughter ate them in four bites since they were so small. They looked like they came out of the freezer. The kind you buy in a box at the grocery store. They didn't have anything on them. No avocado, no sour cream, no cheese. I really didn't see any meat in them either. Jack in the box tacos have more mystery meat in them than these! That were only $3.39 but a big disappointment. I would've preferred to pay more for better quality food. Never again. read more

Ive been coming to Harrys for a while now. They are uncontested in the fast food department in my opinion. I come waaaaayy from Northern Moval all the way to the edge of Perri,s the city to get my meal. I pass up Brians burgers which is 3 blocks away from my house and perris burger in Moval which is even closer. This little honey hole is a great place for a relaxing meal or to bring the family and throw down. Definitely not fast food. Stopped by the Drive-Thru today. Waited 30 minutes to get my food. Ordered Cheeseburger Combo which was reasonably priced but they charge you an extra 4% if you use a card and just like I expected the food was cold. My bf used to come to this place years ago. I think the last time he came was 4 years ago. He spoke highly about the food so decided to try it out. Needless to say the food was pretty mediocre. Fried zucchini was not the hype eveyone talks about. The salsa is pretty much tomatoes blended together no taste or spiciness to it. All together we probably wouldn't come back. The turkey was the generic store brand meat. I guess the quality decreased over the years . The people are super friendly though. If you're looking for a homestyle version of Denny's, this is definitely the place for you! Not only are the portions huge, the prices are relatively cheap! Regardless of that, the quality of the food cannot beat any diner! I ordered an avocado and cheese omelet, and usually diners are pretty stingy on their slices of avocado, but I swear, this location practically gave me the entire thing! I had a great portion of avocado with every bite of my omelet! The very first thing I noticed right as I dug in was how stringy the cheese was! Customer service is terrible, I was not even greeted. On top of that with this pandemic going on, the food handlers although wearing masks, should wear gloves as well. From the drive thru window I can clearly see some of the workers touch all sorts of things and then touch your food. There were a few that used tongs. They need to be consistent but also practice safe food handling. Gloves should always be used and changed out when preparing their customers meals. Hopefully they implement this. read more

Harrys Cafe has the best bacon avocado and pastrami sandwich. We live in Arizona and were in Perris Ca visiting family. My bf went 3 days straight because he loved the quality of the pastrami sandwich! The food is fresh and cooked with care. The zucchini fries were out of this world. The owner is very present at the location and the staff is very professional. The location is clean and plenty of parking space. I would highly recommend this location. read more

The cashier was very very rude. My mom was trying to order in Spanish and she gave her so much attitude. But as soon as I started talking to her in English she seemed to change her tone. Can a manager please get a hold of me about the rude female you have working the window. She is sarcastic, rude, unprofessional and is laughing at everything. Not a bad place to stop for breakfast on your way to Big Bear! Well that's what we did at least. We both ordered a breakfast burrito: I got the sausage, bacon, and egg (added avo), and he got the ham and egg. Yes you read correctly- sausage AND bacon. Thats what earned the fourth star from me. Portions were gargantuan, filled up on half the 'rito. Inside was the aforementioned meats, egg, and avo, some crispy hashbrowns and a modest amount of cheese. Plus salsa by request. So far I've only had the breakfast burrito, chicken burrito & asada burrito. All were EXCELLENT! The burrito is a very nice size especially for the price which is 6 bucks & change. I mainly eat breakfast or lunch here but I do need to eat the spaghetti plate someday and try more sandwiches such as the beef dip and B.B.Q dip. Breakfast is always filliing whether it is the avocado cheese omelette or biscuits and gravy, can't go wrong. The pastrami is premium and a satisfying lunch when eaten at around 12-1pm. I had tje chili cheese dog once and it was very cozy. I also had a bacon cheeseburger too which was tasty and a typical hamburger-style similar to Golden Ox or Farmer Boys. The zucchini I do not care much for but the French fries are always point and if you do not finish them, might as well get them to go. Oh yeah, there is something about the place that is just cozy. The inside decor reminds me of 1980's films that would include diner scenes where two folks meet for coffee, grub and convos. read more

Okay, I try not to come out here anymore for various reasons but recently I found myself driving down memory lane and had an appetite where my eyes were big and stomach was grumbling. That's when I remembered about this magical place that stood largely alone and yet so vast in an area building quickly but still desolate. Although Harry's Cafe is a chain, eating here will have you change your mind on the quality of chain burger restaurants. Decor: 3 stars The decor here is largely the use of browns, with tile flooring and modern lines and buildings set up to create a cozy sit-in burger restaurant. However, this restaurant is large with a roomy meeting area designed in the back and a dining space big enough to fit 40 people comfortably. There is some untidiness and you definitely don't want to sit too close to the fountain soda/salsa bar area, but otherwise the large windows allow plenty of natural light into this spacious restaurant. Service: 3 stars The service here is friendly and for they do bring your food to you. They might make some small talk here, but otherwise, the service is a blend between quick service and counter talk. Food: 4 stars The food here is not only good but comes in heaps. You order a dinner here and you need to prepare yourself for essentially a 3 course meal. Each dinner comes with a salad, a soup, and the main entree with a side. So if you order something like the pork chop dinner you'll get a big salad (no side here), big bowl of soup, your pork chop which comes with a side and dinner rolls. And that "good-n-plenty" graciousness doesn't only stay in the dinner. Whatever you order, from the massive burritos to the kebabs, will leave you full and having plenty of leftovers for another meal. Price: 5 stars For all the massive food you buy, no item on this menu is over $10. That's mind BLASTING! You are essentially paying $5 for two or three meals. If that isn't the American way, you don't believe in freedom. Conclusion There isn't much reason for me anymore to go to Moreno Valley. In fact, I try to avoid it like the plaque; however, if I ever do find myself back in this far off land Harry's Cafe will be one of the shining points. I don't understand how an establishment would want to serve food below standards. I asked for ranch and salsa, but I was given a massive amount of 10 ketchup and 10 syrup. Which was an over kill. The fries were old maybe from old grease or sat under a light too long. Needless to say they have lost a first time customer. Obviously standards don't matter here!! read more

Let me preference this by saying this is NOT about the food. Now, I'm sitting in here very annoyed. I purchased a restaurant.com certificate 3 days ago. I come in and show the lady behind the counter and she says they don't have the mechanism necessary to redeem the certificates and that I'm the 4th person to come in with one. And they wouldn't be there til Monday to install it. Hmmmmm....so what are you doing as a business to accommodate the inconvenience of your customers? Did I ask that, no. But I shouldn't have too.
