However, the meals served in this fast food joint is more than just comfort food for diesel burners and road hogs. I mean the food is just plain dang delicious! Partner and I each ordered the chicken fried steak under the breakfast menu. That comes with choice of home fries/hashbrowns three eggs (your style) and toast for $6 and some change. It's fast food so no fanagling with tips - but we gave anyway cuz service was stellar! Monica brought our orders to us within less than 10 minutes. She was polite, pleasant, and brought additional condiments to our table. Customer service with a smile is always generally an automatic incentive for extra tip$. In the case of Harry's Cafe, they'll get more than good compliments as tips from us - it's no wonder this place (inside and drive thru) is packed. Ps. We went tonight and ordered a pastrami sandwich. When I started eating it I noticed it tasted a little sour so I took a closer look only to discover what looked like maggots in the sandwich. Upon closer inspection I think it may have been rice because I started noticing beans in the pastrami as well. Not many places in this area for a "sit down" breakfast. My husband and I were stuck in traffic and needed a break so we stopped here. This place is one of few in the middle of nowhere(Perris), so dont believe your eyes, when the place looks full, and happenin'...My 1st time here had me order the hamburger combo, extra pickles, w/ fries. The burger was cold, and just ok as far as flavor goes. I asked for extra pickles, but the burger seemed to only have A PICKLE. The fries, you ask?..HORRIBLE. They were cold, AND old, & thats a bad situation. I tried to fight thru it, and just drive off in frustration, but the more i tasted, the more i was pushed rite back inside, and asked for a new batch. A few minutes later, i saw the "package" being walked over my way, and i grabbed the bag, nice and hot, and eagerly returned to my vehicle to finally try my new, & improved meal. Well, DO NOT order the fries. These FRESH fries were tasteless, dry, & overall, just plain sad. So overall, the food, is nothing worth stopping for. I write this review with a heavy heart. Harry's has been one of my favorite places in town since I moved to the city in 2011. I have eaten at this place more than 30+ times. I am saddened at the sharp decline in their food quality over the past 6+ months. I don't write this with one meal in mind, but after several less than satisfying food experiences as of late. From stale French fries, to burnt zucchini, to cold chicken wings, to completely brown avocado on my hamburger! Harry's has been so good to me in the past that I would like to see them turn around and go back to the food quality that made them so great to me in the first place. Although I have not had a good Harry's experience in quite some time, I will still give them a few more chances in hopes that they will be able to correct whatever issues they are having and restore that place to its original luster. read more

I have been eating at this place since I can remember even when the owner was still alive and we love it but I'm sorry to say that the service has gone down since the new lady who is always taking orders has come in. Not sure if she is the owner or just the manager but this lady is rude and not pleasant. While placing my order I must have been asked "anything else" by her all while she was multitasking with other things. After reading so many reviews about this place I thought it was going to be way better but it wasn't. They had a large menu of items that was hard to read. I decided to go with a bacon cheeseburger and reg fries. The burger wasn't tasty or juicy at all. The Bacon was very hard and the burger patty was very dry and dull. I was expecting this place to taste similar to their rival Farmer Boys but it wasn't anything like it except for similar menu items. I wish this place was better. After I gave my order and pulled up to the window I waited there for a very long time and the lady never even came to the window to confirm my order and take my money.
