excuse my language but fuck this place they discriminated my mother today 4-29-13 she went in for a burger cuz she loves this place every time she comes from the dentist across the street but do to recent injuries from her disc in her back going threw her neck area she isn't able to speak she wrote down her order which was an avocado bacon burger they didn't put they avocado my mom goes & asks if she can get it the owner!!!! yes the owner told my mom if you can't speak i don't want your service wtf is that all she wanted was her avocado n he even called my mother a bitch and told her off my poor mother was crying cause all she wanted was a burger she loved and the owner discriminated her!!! read more

This is a great place to eat. I normally use the drive thru. The food is great They also have another one on Beach Blvd which is where I normally go but I love the drive thru here. I don't believe the negative comments made here from others. I go to Harry's 3 times a week and I believe they are the best in Stanton with great prices. read more

Been going to Harry's café since opened and always enjoyed there food and the staff were always courteous even tho the prices seen to go up a little bit every time I go in I'm ok with that I just put that down to the economy, but today I called in an order was told $15.45 when I got there it was $16.45 any then I was asked to pull forward so they could serve other people even tho I phoned in the order waited 10 before I left it still was not ready so I moved forward as requested cars were leaving and my food still hadn't come out so I parked and walked in my food was just sitting there so when I asked was he waiting for it to go cold he gave me a smart answer I got back to work and sure as can be most of the food was cold. I called Harrys back AND GOT THE SAME RUDE PERSON Eduardo I asked for the manager he said he was in charge so I started to tell him the food was cold he started to argue with me so I hung up. You would be better off to go to Johns Grill in Cypress on Cerritos Ave., where you would have friendly servers and better food. We have been coming here for years, but sadly, no more. The servers who work here clearly hate their jobs. There used to be a friendly man who was in charge (maybe the owner), he always welcomed you and made sure you had everything. Now the women who work there are rude and talk about you behind your back. TO THE OWNER: Was it your intention when you started this business to have people who work for you not provide good customer service? As stated by other yelpers, THAT IS PART OF YOUR BUSINESS! I hope you will review the servers who work for you and decide to hire friendly, smiling faces who make your customers feel like they made the right choice coming to your business. rancho alamitos students usually come here before and after dances, on fridays, and sometimes for breakfast! it's a great nearby food joint for us to go to! i go atleast once every two weeks! they give a lot of fries for such a little price and it's not too salted! the egg and ham burrito is very good especially with hot sauce! that manager guy is also really friendly! however the bathroom needs a bit cleaning and they need to improve their time management to get food out. read more

In the OC we have many local diners that appear to be different, but once you start eating at some of them you start noticing many similarities and even certain things that are exactly the same. I'm talking about places such as Paul's Place, Angelos, George's, The Athenian, etc. It's obvious that most of their food comes from the same supplier. What's also interesting is that some of the menu items even have the same name...... Colossol Burger, Ortega Burger, etc. The font on the actual menu is also the same. Sure there are some differences, but essentially these places are the same. Well, add Harry's Place to this group. Thoroughly uninteresting and unspecatular just like the other diners, but yet solid, consistent and reasonably priced. The service is good, cooks are competent and the place is clean. Harry's is as good as it gets as far as average OC diners go. For those of you with boring palates ....bon apetit! read more

The manager at Harry's Cafe thought it was okay to have his customers waiting for their drive thru orders to park and wait in the handicap spot. Meanwhile, I had to drive my 85 year old mother and father with walkers around the parking lot twice waiting for a spot to park. I approached the driver myself (who was not handicap) to have them move, which turned into a argument. The manager who was directing the cars where to park thought this was ok for them to wait there. Just because you have a parking problem doesn't mean it is ok to have people wait in the handicap zone. Very disrespectful for the elderly. I feel this restaurant needs to reevaluate their priorities...plus it's against the law. read more

Came in for the first time today to grab some breakfast with my girlfriend. The service was horrible. My girlfriend ordered a chicken noodle soup and after they had already charged us for it they inform us that they were all out of chicken noodle soup. The cashier then insisted on shoving the minestrone down our throats even though we did not want it. She was rude and just kept telling us that it was fresh and that we should just get another soup since the chicken noodle was out even though we insisted that we did not want a soup anymore. So we continued our order, my girlfriend orders an egg sandwichand asks for white bread, the lady gives us attitude and then replies with "it already comes with white bread." The lady bringing all the orders to the tables was on the phone the entire time we were there and not even paying attention to anyone. I had a side order of hash browns which wasn't even entirely cooked. This was the first and the last time we are ever going there. read more

I have been a Harrys regular for a couple years now and its a shame such a great diner is dwindling in their customet service aspect. In my recent visits to Harrys the Drive Thru service has been horrendous. Often I justify them asking me to pull up and wait over 40 minutes for a simple breakfast plate. Today however there was no one in thr Drive thru lane and after the older woman took my credit card she took about 10 minutes to give it back which kind of worried me... Then for the next 30 minutes I was waiting for my food while other cars pulled up behind me. The lady slid the drive thru window and asked "Whatd you order?" I couldnt believe it. I repeated my order which then she told me to pull forward because she had the orders of the cars behind me ready. needless to say I waited nearly an hour watching other cars drive off with bigger orders. Checked food at home and it hardly had any food. Very small portion and Harrys is known for their BIG portions. Such a shame... Harrys WAKE UP. You're losing customers... read more

The staff is always very friendly. The food is descent. Like coming here for a quick fast food fix. Drive thru is a plus.

Ahhh... harry's... what to say about this delightful little place. Before I start ranting on about how wonderful this little joint is I need to say that I am very biased about this place. So to start... my patronage start way back when I was wee little scrub in junior high. 8 years into our relationship I am proud to say that our relationship is going strong. True, I don't eat at harry's as much as I used to, but I always have had a little place in my heart and my stomach for the devilish good food that they serve. The more I eat at harry's the more I realize its not only cheap good food they serve, but cheap good memories as well. You can think that I am corny and all that, but truth be tild I love this place. Its my childhood, my adolesence, and will be my adulthood as well. Their steak and egg breakfast burrito fed me like a king during lunches, and their broasted chicken dinner was always a way to go to feed me and a few of my hungry friends. Ofcourse we each got our own. Don't get me wrong now, their portion are good. We just eat a lot. For those that grew up eating harry's they will always find comfort in the food they eat here and the warmth it brings to your soul. read more

They make a really good carne asada burrito, but usually I go for my favorite the broasted chicken dinner. Soup, salad, whatever potato you want, dinner roll, onion rings and four pieces of chicken. Three pieces always come home and taste just as good the next day. I don't know how they can give such large portions and still keep the prices as low as they are. And they put on a free Thanksgiving meal for those in need. Give them some business they give back to others. read more

If you're ever around stanton close to home depot and if you're hungry, i recommend Harrys Cafe. When I first saw Harry's Cafe, I thought it was going to be a boisterous restaurant, but I was wrong; its a tranquil place. When I came in I scrutinized the restaurant and it was really neat and clean. When I come to this restaurant, I habitually order a hamburger with fries and a drink. My family orders a barrage of different kinds of foods, but they all say its delicious. The whole combo is $7.99, which is a good price. The service is great, and the employees are always jovial and cordial. The service is also fast. When my family and I come here, they treat us with respect and always ask us if we need anything else. When I get ravenous, I come to Harrys cafe. The service always impresses my family for different kind of foods. I'm very glad that the workers are not lethargic and that they are adept to their work. I had visited Harrys cafe since I was little and I'm going to persevere in coming back. I'm very pleased with this amazing restaurant. read more
