What the heck is wrong with Hartz! I hadn't been here in a while and after today, I won't be back. Their prices are outrageous! $21 for an 8 piece chicken with NO sides. Are you kidding me? You can get an 8 piece for around $10 at Popeyes or KFC. Everything is pricey at this chicken hut. I mean, people don't go through a drive thru for high prices and substandard food. The best part about this visit to hartz is the wait. It wasn't long and I see why. I Ordered the chicken tenders and when I took them out the bag I was so dissapointed. The tenders were soft like mush and not fresh at all no crispy crunchy anything here. The gravy was luke warm like they pulled it from the fridge and warmed it. This Hartz Chicken Buffet 10806 Spring Cypress Rd is possibly the best location I have been to since I have been in Houston/Cypress/Spring, TX . The cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms makes it worth patronizing. The food is always hot and fresh. The staff is friendly. I really feel that they take great pride in the restaurant. This loccation is now our favorite place to eat really good fried chicken with good sides and bread( especially cornbread muffins). Keep up the good work! read more

Friendly service, but not quick. Still sitting in the drive-thru 20 minutes after placing my order. No telling how much longer. I even agreed to a different (lesser) mix because they were out of certain pieces. Could have just cooked at home. Finally called their store number after waiting 25 minutes. Told them I want a refund. Will see how much longer that takes. Terrible excuse for a drive-thru! 30 minutes later, I left with a refund and NO FOOD. How is this even possible?!? read more

Decided to try their fried chicken last night. I only ordered the chicken. Was not impressed at all. The skin did not taste good at all. There was no seasoning whatsoever on the outside or inside. They were out of rolls, and the girl behind the counter brought a container full of rolls to our table when they finished baking. Great customer service.
