This is the second time we've been to this restaurant. The pizza and ranch are very good. We also tried the garlic bread which had a thick layer of garlic. It was too much garlic in my opinion. The buffalo cauliflower was very good. I would pass on the mean green salad. There wasn't enough blueberries and had a bland taste to it. My son enjoyed the meatballs. Our first visit was on a Thursday. We appreciated them being open later than many places, during the week. My husband always likes a traditional burger. He liked the Rosie Burger so much, he wanted to go back the next day! I also had a burger, but mine was the veggie version. It was tasty, very much like what I would have made at home. We loved the fried potatoes and the Brussels sprouts appetizer, as well as the summer salad with blueberry dressing. The lemonade is outstanding but please note the Coke came in a can. Everything was so tasty, we decided to go ahead and order dessert. the Smores style brownie dessert was very, very good, and I wished I'd ordered coffee to go with it. Everyone was very friendly. First time here meeting friends for dinner. Really good to great pizza. They have 5 locations in the greater Columbus area. We started with Yukons and Artichokes, fried marinated artichokes, crispy fingerling potatoes, charred lemon in a rosemary-lemon aioli (a little runny, but good). We also ordered the kale Caesar salad. Really good, huge portion topped with hazelnuts and a house dressing. Moving on to the pizzas, we ordered 5 pies and they were all excellent. We got the Ohio Double Bacon, the House Pepperoni, the Monaco (outstanding arrabiata sauce), the Roasted Garlic and the Quattro Formaggi. All had great crusts, tons of toppings and were fresh out of the wood fired oven. The place doesn't have great atmosphere, resembling more a modern, minimalist art gallery, but the food is tops. Good wood fired pizza, as mentioned in some other reviews the service could be better. We arrived and our initial server was Bailey and she was AWESOME, great energy, explained menu got drinks quick and stroked up some conversation. She got our order rolling then said she was off and headed out but someone else would take over, that's when the service went from 5 star to two. It's like they forgot about us, we would have to stop a random employee walking past for a refill, the chicken on my sons pasta didn't seemed to be cooked 100% and was light pink, they said they would make a new one and he asked not to have chicken in this was because he was turned off by the first dish. He waited, waited and then we stopped an employee walking past, she went to check and brought it right out. Popped in for a lunch - and they were out of a few items, which kind of shrunk their already small menu considerably. But let's talk about what we could get: - meatballs (a little spicy, but so good) - kids tenders (this surprised me - HAND BREADED? I stole one. It was amazingly delicious. But the dill ranch was too much for the little one, but I loved it). - pizza (we opted for garlic, corn, and chicken). Pizza was solid! It's been a long time since I have been to any harvest - and this location feels a little tighter (as in... smaller). But they had a good crowd, a range of people, and their (rather young) staff was quick and attentive. I mean, I am taking a star off because everything I was going to order was "unavailable" but maybe it was an off day/had a run on them or something. Absolutely the best gluten free pizza I ever had...the crust is like real puzzle crust...YEAH! I got their fennel sausage GF and it was superb. They really seem to know how to successfully use herbs and spice blends. Service... I've had their pizza at other locations and it's great. Too bad the service is dodgy. We called 5 minutes in advance of arrival to check if they're busy. We're told that there are open tables. Walk in 5 minutes later, there are 6 open tables but we're told it's a 30 minute wait. No thanks. We'll take our business elsewhere. read more

We tried to do dinner on Friday night, but the place was packed so we returned on Saturday night. Had a group of 9 and we're seated very quickly. Our waitress was awesome-friendly and knowledgeable about menu items and drinks. We started with a side salad which was fresh, cold, and had amazing ranch dressing. Both salads at the table had plates full of water when we were done eating them. The pizzas were great. Done perfectly and topped well. Our friends order a gluten free crust and said it was one of the best they have had. We had a small issue with our pizza and the waitress and manager were quick to help handle it well. Let me just say the food is good but this review is about the service. After the last couple of times going here I am not inclined to come back. I went to eat here on a Wednesday night where only 3 other tables had guests. To start the night off they got our drink orders wrong. Then it took us 45 minutes to get our food with no apologies from the server until we got it. Normally I would let this slide but they then proceeded to apply 20% gratuity to our check. Keep in mind there were only two of us, I have rarely seen gratuity included on a small table and non-holidays. With the long wait, no sight of our server and wrong drinks I would not have tipped 20%. Additionally there was no sign in the restaurant or mention of gratuity included until the check was on our table. In another visit I called ahead to see how long the wait would be, they told me they had room if I can right away. I was at the restaurant in 10 minutes, they then told me they were waiting on one more table to open up, my party and I proceeded to wait for over an hour. With a full restaurant on a Friday night I would expect them to have more than 2 servers. I barely saw my server other than to order and receive food. When the food came out the server placed the dishes in random spots instead of asking who orders what. This made my large party have to pass larges plates and pizzas among each other. I am very frustrated by the lack of service and the 20% gratuity on small checks where it is not deserved. read more

Came here following a Denison swim meet along with several other groups that flooded in at 9 pm. Really impressed! Superb pizza made in the traditional Italian style, perfectly charred yet still soft in the center crust, great service, good and reasonably priced wine selection. I really want this restaurant to succeed because this town needs good pizza. When the place first opened, I got a spinach salad that tasted sandy, as if the greens hadn't been rinsed off after coming in from the field. I chocked it up to growing pains at a newly opened place. Last night, we ordered burgers with sides of cauliflower. My burger came with a side salad instead of cauliflower. Instead of sending it back, I thought I'd be sweet and proceeded to eat the salad. In the middle of it were large globs of mushy dark green rotted lettuce. Fortunately, none of these reached my mouth, but that evening, I was hoping I wouldn't have any illness associated with this rotten salad. So, there was a triple whammy of getting the order wrong, substituting my order with a slimy salad, and then taking just 5$ off the bill for this off-putting experience. I have a feeling the management of the place is at fault because other Harvests I've visited have been good. read more

We've been for dine-in during lunch and have gotten it to-go a few times. The food has been delicious every time. When we ate in the restaurant, our service was also great. They're helpful when people have questions about the menu. The restaurant is new and very clean, decorated minimally but looks really nice. I ordered a Harvest margarita and it tasted very strong and left a horrible aftertaste. Probably the worst margarita I have ever had. I asked for them to take it off my bill and they said, "We can't take it off your bill because you already ordered it." First restaurant in my life I ever heard that. So, even though it tasted horrible and I didn't drink it I had to pay for it because I ordered it. Buyer beware... apparently the drinks and food can taste horrible but you will have to pay for it anyway. Good luck! read more

Eight people went in a group today around 2 PM for lunch. We had called in advance to say we were coming. We were greeted by person who later identified herself as the manager. She was extremely unwelcoming and rude. A person was cleaning a table nearby, and she looked at us with disdain as if we were bothering the people in restaurant. We are a well dressed, well groomed group of older ladies who certainly have never been treated in this manner in a restaurant. We were told that a gratuity would be added because we were more than six. We agreed to that. We were also told that there would not be separate checks. Now if there was anyone else in the restaurant it couldn't have been more than one or two. They were not busy. We talked about whether to stay or leave. We decided to stay and see if we could work it out in the end. She said we would get the bill and then divided it equally. I suggested that that wasn't acceptable as our bills would vary widely. She said that is the way they do it. Our wait person was absolutely wonderful. We said the restaurant must not like groups. She could not comment on that, of course. Anyway, she did a great job, even going beyond to see that a person got a drink that was not on the menu. In the end we indeed got the check, and chaos ensued, as could be expected. The wonderful wait person figured out each check so people COULD pay separately. When we told the manager our opinion and stated we certainly would not be back, she said she didn't know why the wait person was doing what she was doing. I replied that she was doing it because she was the only person in the restaurant who cared about the customers. She probably got in trouble for being a helpful server. Obviously, that is not the policy at Harvest. I realize that high end restaurants in Manhattan behave in this way and don't give separate checks, but this was not Manhattan. It was Granville, Ohio, and we expected better. I hope the wonderful server gets placed in the manager's position, and the manager becomes bus person. The manager does not do the business any favors. Of course, there is not a chance my group would ever come back, but that's too bad, because the food was good. read more
