We were in Ohio for a Convention. A name brand chain did not deliver to our hotel. Found this place and they were great! Easy online ordering. Text updates and super friendly delivery guy. Garlic knots were on par and meat lovers pizza was excellent. Wasn't fond of the marinara sauce as it was a little sweet. We have had this several times when we are at a friends house who lives near this restaurant. It is consistently amazing every time we get it. This is the first time I was able to get pics for a proper review lol The Stromboli is to die for. It's my favorite. The pizza is really good too. We got sausage and we got sausage and banana peppers. Both were really good. The garlic knot things that they call Buckeye bites were very garlicky and delicious. The sauce they give you was really good as well. The Stromboli is where it's at. I have had several combinations of fillings and all delicious. We will definitely order from here again. read more

I have food allergies and have struggled to find a gluten free pizza that I love. There are a lot of good places, but the crusts have never been more than adequate, until I tried Buckeye Pizza and Stromboli. Their gluten free crust makes me feel like I'm cheating and having gluten. I physically crave this pizza crust and enjoy every bite of it. I even enjoy the reheated leftovers. Most gf crust does not reheat well. So if you need gluten free, please try this one & you'll have a new favorite! read more

This had as much to do with YELP as identifying it as close as the location between a dispensary and a liquor store with bars required on the door. The Stromboli we ordered didn't come close to the now closed Morone's. We thought we'd give it a try because YELP had identified it as close with 3.9 rating. First time ordering from here. Love local places, as I hate chains! I ordered the medium pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, black olives and sausage. It was ready in like 10 min. Super easy ordering, about $20 - not bad at all. Walked in to pick up the food. Gentleman was friendly and quick. Place looked nice and clean. The medium pizza was a little smaller than I expected however, it was PERFECT for two people. No left overs! I could have ate more, but glad I didn't get a large! Pizza was thin crust and nicely cooked. The party cut topped it off! We definitely agreed that we will be going there again and definitely want to try other items as well! Very simple but tasty menu options, with large pies about $15 each. We got a meat and white pizza for four people and we had plenty left (they cut the pies in squares). The crust was very good, the sausage was ok. It filled us up quickly because there is a ton of cheese where I could really feel it afterward. When I had some for leftovers the next day, I could feel all the cheese again go straight to my insides again. I'm sure customers love the cheese though, I prefer a little less. Absolutely incredible. We order from Buckeye at least once a month. The delivery always shows up much earlier than expected and the drivers are so sweet--they put our pizzas on the planter they move over so the boxes don't touch the ground! We ordered our own small pizzas this go around because we were adamant about what we wanted and sharing was not in the forecast. There's just something addicting about this place. We had never ordered from Buckeye but received their mailer and was impressed with the selection. We got delivery on INTERNATIONAL PIZZA DAY! Delivery was 1 1/2 hour wait. We stacked it up to the snow. We will try again for that. The spicy pickles were good, but not spicy. They were served with a very good ranch sauce. I know, ranch dressing "how cliche", but done well, it is undeniably tasty. It was done well. The Asian teryaki wings were great and a great price. Crispy, bone in, no breading. My husband enjoyed the buffalo chicken stromboli. I'll take his word for it. He said most if the heat came from jalepenos. It looked yummy. We got NY style crust and peperoni pizza. First time eating here (not sure how as we live super close and love Stromboli) and I can't rave enough about this place! Experience was great as well! We ordered the veggie and the meat lovers Stromboli and they were to die for! Crust was the perfect consistency, the innards weren't all wet and mushy, and the sauce was PERFECT! He forgot to make our garlic knots and threw them in for us for free and I still couldn't have been happier!! Highly recommend buckeyes pizza if you're a fellow Stromboli lover like I am! I have lived in Columbus for six weeks and have had Buckeye pizza three times. I'm absolutely overtaken by how amazing they've managed to make a cheese pizza--globs of ricotta make up 1/4 of the cheeses found on the white pizza and its a fluffy, garlic-y dream. AND the delivery is the fastest I've ever experienced from a pizza restaurant but that doesn't keep me from checking the time every minute and a half after ordering. Hello, I ordered my first stromboli and pizza from buckeye pizza. We also got fried spicy pickles and a kids meal of nuggets, mini corn dogs and fries. All this cost me 35.00 Well we were dissatisfied with this pizza and stromboli. The stromboli was burnt on the bottom, as was the pizza. The burnt taste over powered everything else. Especially if you don't mind the ghetto people in the parking lot that have no clue how to drive it's a nice little adventure to say the least. Wouldn't recommend bringing the kids though. Probably the worst pizza in north Columbus. North Columbus has a lot of very good pizza joints. This is not one of them. We ordered The Works pizza. It looked like a 3 year old had worked on it. We really like this place! Everything we've gotten has been great except the Margherita pizza. Wayyyyyy too garlicky. If u like huge hunks of garlic on ur pizza, go for it! Or they will charge my card and not even deliver my food, I'm literally 5 mins down the road and if I could leave work to go get it, I would. Every time I call to complain, my money isn't even refunded. One time they even debited my card 3 times for one transaction and I didn't even get the food nor dos they return my money. What has normally been a wonderful experience for years turned me off for a lifetime. Never once have I ever called to tell a place I didn't get what I wanted and have the chef put on the phone to tell me I'm wrong. When I order a Philip Cheese steak with no onions or banana peppers, I still expect there to be green peppers, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato. But what I got was a sub with lettuce, tomatoes and steak with mayo. No cheese, no green peppers and no mushrooms.
