It was a lovely place, BUT felt extremely out of place. My girlfriend and I booked it to be close to Angry Orchard. It would have been nice to clearly know that the inn was JW forward... Being non-religious and queer, my girlfriend and I felt like we were intruding on something.. So just be mindful of that i guess. lol.. Also breakfast was not fulfilling but it was very nice and plenty of options (no scrambled eggs??) But the lil coffee spot in the dining room sufficed our need for egg. read more

Such a lovely hotel. There's a cafe with a great barista and amazing baked goodies, a lovely seating area with a continental breakfast, plus laundry and all sorts of great services. The room came with a booklet letting you know where to eat, shop, and all the local transit services. Like they thought of EVERYTHING! Our hotel just before traveling here was the Marriott, and this was easily on the same level. Room has all the accommodations you could need, with a fridge (not a mini fridge!), a little TV, and a desk/vanity. My only tiny gripe is a lack of outlets (as someone with a million devices to plug in.) Our AC wasn't working correctly when we came in, but the front desk immediately sent a handyman that replaced the motherboard. Just unreal service. read more

This quaint "inn" has quite a few amenities. Even a small cafe with food, coffee, and adult beverages. Breakfast is almost all Carbs (hard boiled egg/small piece of sausage ). Very limited. But the seating is pleasant and plentiful all day long. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom sink is so tiny and awkward to get to. Don't bring too many products, or they slide off into the toilet. We had a couple problems with the two rooms we had. 1. The walls are paper. We had elephants above us. It made for a crazy night. 2. The tv was broken. Someone came in and unplugged it and it worked for 5 min. We were done with that. 3. The shampoo bottle was broken, glad I had just picked some up at the local Walgreens. 4. (And probably the worst) The rooms are hotter than sleep-able. We turned off our unit and opened the window on a 19 degree night. Before we went to bed, we shut the window. By morning..... with no unit on, the room was over 72 degrees. Seriously, the hallway was refreshing. Not sure what's happening with all the heat, When you have your unit turned OFF. For that reason alone, 1 star is gone. If you need sleep, stay on the top floor and BE MINDFUL, of those underneath. And sleep with the window open all night. read more

Clean, newly renovated, close to town of Pine Bush. We stayed for a night while visiting a friend. Small town, nice hotel. It is what is expected. They are operating differently due to COVID, so they provided us with a breakfast order form. We were hoping it would come "room service" type fashion, since they deliver it to your room. Don't get hopes up, it's still very basic mini cereal box and hard boiled egg in styrofoam bowl type thing. Due to it being a lower traffic hotel from what I'm used to going to, it was weird having to call the front desk to check out and waiting for someone to come down. read more

Cozy, beautifully maintained inn, not fancy, but homey and super clean. Designed with a simple modest country feel, the rooms are not cramped and there's plenty of space to spread out. Minimalist decor, and rather plain lodgings, but comfortable. The owners are lovey hosts and very accommodating. They offer a simple, continental breakfast. Terrible experience. No housekeeping services. No clean towels, toilet paper, No clean sheets, bed not made, nothing. They said just place trash in hallway. Also No hot water. We stayed here because my niece got married in Pine Bush and this was the hotel where she blocked some rooms for her wedding guests. We froze in the cold showers. All 3 days/nights we stayed the hot water did not work. It wasn't even warm. Just cold. The day of the wedding my shower water was freezing at best. There is also no one to complain to as there is no manager in this "family owned" establishment. My niece was really embarrassed when we told her. Guess she'll never use this hotel again. Didn't stay here, but visited the gift shop and bar/coffee shop. Everyone was so friendly. The gift shop had some nice JW gifts that we picked up to bring back to the friends. The bar had several local craft brews on tap which we enjoyed. read more

I was only here for one night but I would definitely stay here again. It was very quiet overall aside from some heavy walkers above our room and the young lady at the front desk was friendly and the ease of check in/check out was swift. It's located in a weird spot among apartment complexes and townhomes I think and there are no attractions nearby but this hotel was close to relatives so it worked out perfectly. There's a cute gift shop attached and complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. I'll be back again soon. read more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Harvest Inn during a weekend trip. We were looking for lodging near the places we'd be visiting and this was right in the middle of them all. We made our reservation online a few days in prior and were happy to see that had availability. We stayed here during COVID times and the website informed us that the hotels amenities (pool, indoor dining area, self serve breakfast bar) would be closed. Regardless, after arriving a desk attendant greeted us and issued us our room keys without any issue. They informed us that we'd be able to make a breakfast selection for the next morning and pick up our food at the front desk at whichever time we indicated. Our room was extremely spacious. We opted for a room with two queen sized beds. The interior design was minimal with darker hues which made for a cozy feel. The staff had provided us with an abundance of towels to use and the bathroom was spotless when we first walked in. Overall this was a great experience and I'd suggest it to anyone visiting the area. read more

Loved loved loved it here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful here at the Harvest Inn. They have complimentary breakfast, a Cafe, and gift shop with awesome JW items. My favorite at the cafe was a caramel latte and Adria's delicious cookies! Our rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. You literally sink into the mattresss. There's also an outdoor pool which my husband got to enjoy. They also offer free shuttles to any Bethels! Got to meet so many wonderful brothers and sisters here. Wonderful stay here while going to the Gilead Graduation! The staff is very friendly and the rooms very clean! The gift shop has beautiful items well priced. The coffee shop was great, we had hot cocoa and it was wonderful! The breakfast was very small but enough to fill you till lunch, but if you have a bigger appetite, the cup and saucer diner makes a great western omelet! While not a 5 star hotel, it's very very clean, has everything one needs and is updated. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are great. The continental breakfast is good. Looking at value for one's dollar, you can't beat it. I would stay there again and highly recommend it. We loved the reasonably priced shuttle service to New York. Sorry we did not like our stay here one bit. We stayed 2 nights. Very dated rooms.popcorn ceiling, green carpets old style bed spreads. The guy at the front desk wasn't friendly at all when he checked us in The lady who cleaned our room was very sweet We awoke at 2 am to our smoke alarm buzzing every 3 mins - no one at the front desk of course at that time so we tried to remove the battery but it was hot wired so we literally had to sleep with the thing buzzing all night. When I went down in the am I told the lady at the front desk & explained it'd been buzzing all night - she replied 'it needs a new battery!!! That was her response!!!! Fortunately the lovely lady who cleaned our room took action and went about changing the whole unit as she mentioned that someone else had complained about it a few nights previous !!!! - she recognized that there was obviously something wrong with the unit. Thank you dear sweet lady for taking action and for being so nice about it. It's close to Wallkill - but I would not stay or recommend this hotel to others. read more

Their cancellation policy applies to each night reserved, not just arriving for the first night. We unexpectedly had to leave a day early and still had to pay for that night. There is no elevator which can be a real problem for some if your room is on the second floor. The only amenity in the room was wi-fi. No frig or coffeepot. No microwave. They do offer coffee in the lobby during the mornings and there is a microwave there. read more

Very clean. Lady at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Love that they have a laundry area! Very convenient to not have to leave the hotel. Rooms are dated but clean and that's what matters. Very nice shampoo and soaps too! There's also a small continental breakfast with muffins and fruit and coffee (may be bigger normally, but they had it in a different place because of remodeling in the lobby). I have stayed here multiple times. The only reason is the location. The harvest Inn really doesn't have the best customer service. I am sure that it gets annoying dealing with all of us "happy tourist" on a day to day basis. But come on... when you are in the customer service industry you really need to step things up! read more

Clean, good condition, but really loud. Didn't get much sleep. This is a nicely maintained and very clean little hotel and conveniently located near a very nice diner. Our room was in very good condition, the carpet was clean, beds were nice, and the lady helping us in the evening was very courteous. They morning coffee in the lobby was strong and very good which was really needed since we didn't get much sleep. We couldn't leave the AC or fan blowing because the unit was loud. Toilets sound like a jet flying by so no night flushing. We were given a downstairs room towards the end of the hotel. Room to room on the ground floor the noise wasn't too bad. However the upstairs neighbors were walking around in their room from 8:30 pm until 11:30 pm or so and the floors were squeaky. I don't mean kind of squeaky but ridiculously squeaky. Even the noise from the upstairs hallway came through loudly. Then at 5:20 am it started again and lasted for almost 2 hours non-stop. I recorded the sound because of how crazy it was. Later in the morning I talked to the man working the lobby and requested to be moved upstairs if possible. He didn't seem to happy about it but agreed to move us. He said it was probably just people upstairs making noise. I said yes but they were just walking in the room normally and I played him the sound. He didn't want to hear it and said "Ok. Ok. We're going to move you". I told him I just thought they should know about the bigger issue that might need to be addressed but he didn't want to hear it. If you stay here, definitely request an upstairs room away from the lobby. Given the cleanliness, good appearance, and good price, I would still consider staying again but only if I could have an upstairs room. read more

We love the location near all Bethal branches. Our first phone call for reservations should have been a clue to the personality of a great deal of the staff. The cleaning staff were an exception they were loving and very helpful. As for the majority of desk help and reservation staff not so much. The feeling as a whole was not a caring loving atmosphere. We were very disappointed. They are extremely controlling . For example if you want to use the pool you must have a key that you ask for every time you go. Then even if your a grown person you are required to have another person with you. I get having a key. But having to ask and take it back is crazy . They need to put in a key code for access to the pool this will provide safety as well as security. They sort of make you feel like your a criminal. They had a tour bus come while we were sitting at the pool so I thought I would just bring the key back after the traffic jam had subsided. Our room was on the main floor so to avoid the foot traffic we thought we would go in the door by the pool . Oh no they have it locked with no entry there. So we had to go in through the crowd. The front desk was swamped so we proceded to the room only to have the office door open to say "Do You have the Key" I was so surprised that with so many people that she even notice us. I feel like there is a bit of stalking going on and unbalance business practices. The guest were the best part of our stay. Only because of the convince would I choose to stay again. read more
