Close your eyes and picture those words coming out of the mouth of a person who BELIEVES it's appropriate to charge these absolutely insulting prices for a very mediocre product. This is a review for the SXSW food truck, not the restaurant. $10.25 for a double cheeseburger. (The most pathetic DCB you can imagine). It's sad. Dry, awful, this is clearly not even close to fresh and I still had to wait for it.. There are a myriad of cheap-ass Sysco condiments. For this price at least look like you're trying, how much more expensive is Heinz Ketchup? Do you really want people to know how badly they're getting ripped off? Next is side dishes: Chips, $3.25. Chips cost $3.25. No, not a full sized bag of super amazing gold-plated chips cooked in angel tears, just regular ol' chips. The kind you get anywhere else for .89¢. Not French fries. A tiny bag of chips. Total so far: $13.50... Thirsty? That'll cost you something. Something awful. It's 4.25 for a Pepsi. For Pepsi? Everyone knows soda pop is the least expensive thing at a restaurant, and the most marked menu item. It probably cost them 60¢ per bottle of Pepsi (who even drinks Pepsi anyway?) And they think it's absolutely okay to charge you $4.25. Price so far: $17.75 for a miserable burger, a bag of chips, and a Pepsi. Plus tip. Oh yeah, I did leave a tip. Because I'm a gentleman, not because the grumpy staff deserved it. Total cost: $20.00. $17.75 food + $2 tip + 25¢ because I gave a $20. I know it must be expensive to rent space right outside of the Austin Convention Center but this is robbery. read more

I remember walking to this place when I was growing up and the thing I 100% give them credit for is that they are the same quality of food today as they were back then. Its certainly better than anything you can get fast-food-wise like Wendy's or Jack in the Box. I've only had P. Terry's once and I'd say this is even better than that. It tastes grilled but not with the overly charcoal taste of say Burger King and all of the lettuce, tomatoes and toppings just taste very fresh. Usually I don't like tomatoes on my burger or onions because people just overdue them and it derails the taste. They have gotten that formula down where when you take a bite it's the perfect blend of everything doing it's part to create a full, unique taste palette. And this one of the only places where I can get a burger and there won't be anything left. Fries are usually also on point. I got the crinkle and he got the regular fries. Both were great! Second visit: Food was good. He was out of bacon and crinkle fries. But it just seems excessive to pay $50 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and a sprite...especially since we could not add bacon. Good, but not worth the money. Too expensive.

Me and my boyfriend tried out this food truck recently and we were super impressed by the food. The burger was seasoned incredibly and had amazing ingredients. We really enjoyed it and agreed it is one of our top burger spots now. Would definitely recommend!
