I had the beef shish kabob plate and it was amazing! The beef was so tender and juicy. I would definitely recommend the beef shish kabob. My boyfriend had the chicken and I thought that it was much drier and less tasty. All the plates are HUGE and they give a very generous portion of rice. It also comes with grilled onions, bell peppers, and a tomato. Our table also shared an order of tadig and hummus. Everyone liked the tadig. The rice was very crispy and the stew was tasty. This eating place honestly has notably been strikingly voted one of the best Persian cuisine in Orange County. After my visit, I would have to agree. My friend ordered for us. We were a party of 4. We were served generous portions of koobideh, chicken koobideh, and boneless chicken kabobs. We also got three varieties of basmati rice: plain, lubia polo, and zereshk polo. First of all the food was okay but my concern is about how they made you pay tip in their check. I never see any resturant including tips in their check automatically. My colleague was shocked and he asked me is it in your culture that you have to pay tips with your food and I said no I never been to any persian resturants like this. The food was decent..... but the service was not great! The rice barely had any beans in it and practically no meat but a few tiny shreds.... which to me is very odd! It made me wonder if it was left over rice from a different table or tables and the meat and rice was eaten from it? I'm not sure what else to think because that's strange to me? Persian restaurants are my favorite when it comes to making a booking for both meat eaters and vegans since there are so many options! Meat eaters can have koobideh or other meat dishes and vegans can have various stews. When I was taking my team to Orange County for a conference I decided to take them here so everyone could have what they want. I got vegan gormeh sabzi and it was excellent while another vegan gal had fezenjoon (it was a bit nutty, but still good). Everyone who had meat enjoyed it. We also had hummus and kashke bademjan to start and it was great! Only downside is that this isn't as nice as Persian restaurants I've been to (decor), they don't serve mint and the presentation isn't great. The food could be a little more refined, too. read more

This is our go to Persian food place, mainly because of location. The rice is perfect. The lubia polo is my favorite, koobideh is very good, ghorma sabzi for me is too much lemon. The reason I went 3 stars is really the service is hit or miss. Sometimes they r on top of it but most of the time they don't fill your water, last night I had to ask the waitress several times for water and it still took a while, also took forever to get our bill.
