Their clam chowder in the fridge was the best chowder we had during the trip.. It needed a little salt and lemon but, yeh, it was phenomenal. The one complaint I have is their frozen stuffed clams.. It was really shocking.. It was essentially just bread stuffing with some clam juice over stuffed into a clam shell.. We heated them up, we tried to add some butter, or lemon, but no, just a big moist ball of bread.. Trash. But yes, this place is a must to stop in for any person looking to purchase seafood anywhere between Touro and PTOWN.

Chosen for their namesake, we ordered six raw oysters upon arrival. This was my mom and brother's first raw oyster, and they became converts upon first slurp. Though I know they're spoiled to have such exceptional oysters as their first, I don't begrudge them the experience. That initial serving of oysters went down with such rave reviews, we were left with no other choice but to expedite a repeat order. To start, I crunched on the Little Gem Salad and dreamt of slathering every meal in it's sherry mustard vinaigrette. It was just the thing to occupy my mind and palate in anticipation of the main course. Diagnosed with a "Hankering For Red Meat," I chose the 8oz Hanger Streak (pictured.) If I could pen this entry in drool, I would. The meal was sublime on every count. I wanted to linger, to draw out the night as long as possible. Now a very kind lady from the deli was sharing info on the boxes. You don't get that kinda assistance in the beer isle anymore. Oh ok back to the store.
