    Reuben. Lots o' meat!
    Herr K.

Tried the Reuben sandwich at the deli counter. Not bad. Ample meat. Good bread and Kraut. Not sure if included cheese. Very lightly toasted. I want my Reuben to have a higher level of grease, and this sandwich did not have much. But it was still pretty good, due to the generous serving of meat. And price was reasonable, especially given our location. This is a nice little store in general. Eclectic. Don't expect the price or selection of a suburban chain store. Not sure why other reviewers were bent out of shape about that. It's a good place. We have dropped in for years.

I am a person who values a good supermarket and I was very impressed with the quality and selection at the Wellfleet Market Place. I just spent some time reading many of the other YELP reviews and what astonished me is the negativity of many of the reviewers. I don't think people understand that it's tough to compete with the larger corporate supermarkets and still turn a profit. I was blown away by the amazing selection of everything from books, jigsaw puzzles to ice cream, wine and staples like every imaginable condiment you might need. I went there today in search of Dijon mustard and was pleasantly surprised by their selection. I also was impressed by their bakery, fresh breads and deli department. For a small town , the Wellfleet Market Place is a truly amazing store with everything from goofy gifts to frisbees and the New York Times. There also sell very cool socks with hungry sharks ready to take a bite out of your legs! I'm staying in Truro that has one store in their downtown that's closed on Thursdays! The great news is that this store is open every day til 7pm! Hurray!

A small market in a small town. Wellfleet is a a small, quiet town near the tip of Cape Cod. If you go up there and like to eat you go to this market, simply because of the fact that the alternative is not eating. There is nothing else nearby. I have the feeling if you went back in time one hundred years or so the market and people would look pretty much the way they look today. It store looks very small from the front but actually extends quite a ways so it has a lot of room inside. All the usually food items can be found here and the marketplace gets a nice selection of locally grown produce in the summer. They also have a nice little deli with fresh home made pastries, coffees and desserts. Great muffins and brownies to start your day. Books, magazines, greeting cards and a eclectic and idiosyncratic selection of touristy items can be found scattered through the market. Cheap plastic lobsters to cool jewelry and old photographs. Like the Cape Cod weather, the inside of the store is always unpredictable. It's a different sort of an experience wondering around one of these old markets. The nice wood floors under your feet and the smell of fresh produce and breads. Most people are very friendly and I have noticed that many people call me by my first name. Curious because not many people up there know my real name. So I get called Bill, Bob, John, Ralph, Igor and Sinclair. Just about everything but my real name. I guess up here if you don't know somebody you just call them by the first name that pops into your head. Quirky and odd but kind of nice. Just small town folks trying to be friendly and a lot better than people ignoring each other. A small market in a small town. A nice combination.

New managers, totally cleaned up. Delicious sandwiches and fresh produce! Emerging organic selection. Butcher cuts steaks and chicken daily.

Overpriced, crammed, with obnoxious staff. It's not easy to find parking. Go shop somewhere else.

The deli counter was closed by then but they had a turkey club in the refrigerator. I was hesitant since it was not fresh, but it was delicious. I also picked up bagel and a muffin. After I ate the muffin, I wished I had bought more. The market has a nice selection of wines as well as upscale food and treats. It also has a seating area inside. Parking is along the side which was a little tight, but still convenient. It's the kind of market you might find in a big city, with it's staff and selection of goods. I spent over a week in Cape Cod and the food here and another deli in Provincetown were the best food I had on the Cape, including some fine dining places. Definitely worth your time to stop by.

I felt like the clerk was not listening to me so I double checked with her a few minutes later to make sure the sandwich would have mustard on it she abruptly told me that no it wouldn't have mustard on it because she didn't have mustard put on it- I asked if it could be done? She was incredibly rude, She went back to the kitchen and asked them to put mustard on it a long while later I received the sandwich in a hot tinfoil wrap. I asked her why the sandwich was hot and she told me that all sandwiches in the shop are toasted unless I asked for it not to be toasted. For context my friend got an Italian and it was correct and NOT toasted.... And again, she was incredibly rude. She eventually offered to redo the sandwich which I was hesitant to agree to, but I did. Another long while later she came back out, basically threw the sandwich at me -still in the tinfoil -when I open the sandwich, I found a Canadian bacon egg sandwich on a hamburger roll with mustard! The bun was wet. I'm not sure what the hell is going on at this place but she and the other person working there were incredibly rude, short and to be honest, completely obnoxious about our whole experience I ended up walking out, told them the sandwiches wrong again and they had no response. I will never go back there, and I will tell everyone about my experience there. I will say the iced coffee was good, but not worth returning for considering all the rest of the stuff that happened.

This store is small but it is densely packed with a lot of organic options. Very clean and organized. They have a lot of unique products that can't be found in other grocery stores. The layout of the store is stratigically like a maze that would take you through the entire store leading to the cashier. The produce section is small. They tend to have a lot of clean organic food, which I love. I truly believe in their organic philosophy on their website. There are way too many nasty chemicals in foods these days. It is nice that Mom's organics exist. My only complaint is the price. I'm my opinion, they are overpriced. Look at the price of the coconut water in my picture. Compare it to Costco or Amazon and you can see the difference, even at this store's "sales" price. Overall, this is a much needed store but if it remains expensive, I don't think it will replace Wegmans nor whole food. Wegmans still give better value for $ on their organic foods.
