Champs is closed on Mondays so we drifted around Yelp looking for other pizza possibilities. We wanted to see if they'd give Barrel on St Johns a run for their money. Turns out they did! And you really can't get away from expensive food if you're eating out. Haute's pizza is sold in one size, 10 inches and go for around $12-19. We ordered a vegetarian and a pepperoni for $50 with Uber delivery. They throw in free garlic bread if you spend more than $30. Very excellent pizza. Nice chewy crust and tasty sauce. My meat eating BF enjoyed the veg more which shocked me but he is right. The veg offers more nuance in flavor. Pep is pep. Well done pep, but very greasy and rich. Pep!! read more

[Food] Since I was visiting the area, the owner allowed me to do half and half for the price of one ($18). - Lemon Song: Comes with mozzarella, arugula, roast garlic, prosciutto, and lemon slices. I think they also mentioned it was a white sauce based or just plain, but correct me if I'm wrong. While I did love all the ingredients, I think it would've been better with a red sauce. Instead of the lemon slices as a topping, I would prefer they gave you lemon on the side for you to squeeze on top of your pizza so that the flavors would be a little more balanced than just being overpowered with cheese. - Kevin: Comes with red sauce, basil pesto, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausages, mushrooms, Parmesan. Out of the two I have to say I do like this one more. Only because I am a fan of red sauce. I felt like this pizza was more balanced compared to the Lemon Song just because the tartness of the red sauce helps tie all the flavors together without any ingredient being too overwhelming. I'm not sure what the one bad review was about but it was likely more the person than the food, consider this my downvote on that person. I'm also a local for what it's worth. That being said I'm not one of those locals that doles out 5 star reviews to every crappy establishment they visit. Most highly rated couve food spots on yelp haven't really earned their stripes from anyone with functioning taste buds. Wendy is awesome and is incapable of making bad food. When I found she had left Natalia's in Camas for this food cart I knew it would be a success. I'd say the only downside is it's expensive but not specific to the cart necessarily. Good pizza (or food) at this point is expensive no matter where you go. read more

Haute Box is a food truck located in the parking lot of Brothers Cascadia Brewing. They focus on just one item: wood-fired pizzas. On the menu are a cheese, a Margherita, and a pepperoni pizza. The owner is exceedingly personable and helpful, and the truck is meticulously clean. I opted for a Margherita, and was overall very pleased. Proportions were well balanced, and the flavors were fresh and good. The only minor potential areas for improvement would be for thinner and consistently sized slices of tomato instead of chunks, and for the basil to be less bitter (to be fair, though, it is really tough to get fresh basil this time of year). I'm looking forward to trying the other two pizzas on the menu on my next trip. read more

It's definitely a must try! I got the reubydoo hotdog and a pizza I forgot the name of (something-a-rita). It was so good!! I want to say the hotdog, coming with a bag of chips or a soda, was about $10, and the pizza was $14. Along with a glass bottle of coke, tax, and tip, my total came out to about $30. Friendly service. I went and tried the Nate-a-Rita The flavors were good. Good texture of dough. I love that wood fire taste and a bit of charcoal. Really enjoyed that balsamic touch. Although pizza was wet and soggy on the bottom of the dough. It wouldn't hold together. The size was smaller than I expected. I'm not sure if this is a new addition, or they changed names/ownerships, but Haute Box is doing it right at Brothers Cascadia. The two ladies that were working were very lively and friendly. We ended up ordering the Brussel Sprouts. They feature bacon and almonds and were quite tasty. I probably prefer them to be a little more "done," but they worked. I forget the name of the pizza we got. It was a limited time deal and boy was it festive. Red onion, ricotta, blueberry, and bacon. I wasn't sold at first, but the wife wanted that one (you know how that works). I actually really enjoyed the pizza. The blueberry wasn't overpowering and it was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. My only complaint is that it takes a..long.. time. But, at least you can be sure your are getting a quality and fresh product. This is a big recommend from me. read more

BEST wood-fired pizza in SW Washington! Reasonably priced. It is a food truck. There aren't places to sit, unless you order something from the brewery right next to the food truck. I like that they gave us a military discount. My husband is a military veteran. We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Supreme pizza. The toppings are fresh, and the crust was perfect. Check the hours though, because they are closed two days a week. I think Tuesdays and Wednesdays. But don't take my word for it. Call first. There is a difference if you order the pizza and take it home. Not as fresh-tasting. Not bad. Good, but not great. You know what I mean? Nothing beats freshly out-of-the-oven pizza. Tastes BEST when eaten right away. If you have leftovers, just pop it in your toaster oven. We ate our pizza in the car. Ah! I cannot rave about this truck enough. The owner is simply delightful and is clearly so creative. She loves what she does and is crazy good at it. The pizza I ordered (I shared with my sister) was The Big Dill. OUTSTANDING. I love pickles and this was the most unique pizza I have ever had. Everything was perfect about it, beautifully baked. My other sister ordered the delicious blueberry compote pizza with feta and red onions. Also AMAZING. I would come back over the border for Portland just for this food truck. After the pizza I was still a little hungry (after a long day of travel from sacramento) so I ordered the marinated habanero-balsamic mushrooms. So good!! By far the best pizza I have tried in Portland recently. I went there for an appetizer thinking I would just get a slice awhile waiting for my other food, but I ended up eating all the pizza and completely forgetting about what else I'd ordered.
