EXTREMELY disappointed in the fit of the dress in the chest area (aka boobs)…read more Purchased a dress at Occasions by Miosa in Folsom for a 2026 summer wedding. Staff took my measurements: chest, waist, hips. Then told me I was a size 2. I questioned a size 2 because the dress I tried on was a 6 and too snug. A separate gal then said I'm a size 10, maybe an 8, but the dresses run small. So she recommended I order the 10 to make sure it was large enough to fit my 29" waist measurement. Well, I have the dress and it does fit my waist, but I need a WHOOOOOOLE lot more boob to fill the ginormous, pre-cast, chest cups sewn into the dress. My chest is a 34 B, which they measured and wrote down in my info. I met with their seamstress and she can't alter the dress because of the style of the bodice and how it overlays the ginormous cups. But she did tell me I can "get a push-up bra AND some bra fillers/push-up enhancers and it will help fill the gap." Help??? If I wanted big boobs I'd have the surgery. But I'm happy with my little gals. For the record, I tried her recommendations and with both a push up bra and the bra fillers in place, the cups are still half empty. Or are they half-full...? Either way, the poor fit in this area is upsetting. Paying hundreds of dollars for a dress and waiting 6 weeks for it to be assembled and delivered, I (naively) expected ALL of my measurements to be taken into account when the dress was made.... So it would fit, not require a push up bra and inserts to attempt to fill the cup space. Staff was helpful in the color options available, and making darn sure I signed all the paperwork saying there are no take backs... But they failed to inform the buyer the dress will fit the largest measurement on your body and the rest of the fit is a crap shoot, and their alterations department may, or may not, be able to fix a problem... One final note... when I picked up the dress, it was very wrinkled (it's chiffon). and I asked if they steam it so it's ready to wear... Yes, they will for $15 dollars. Lordy lord! Please, let me walk out of your shop with my $400 dress steamed and ready to wear. Tried to shop local. Didn't work out so well for me. MH

Jenny & Gloria are the dynamic duo that run this shop…read more I spent 3 days shopping stores from Roseville, Folsom, Arden and Sacramento with my daughter for Junior Prom at the last minute (4 weeks before prom) This is one of the last stores we visited and we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of dresses and the amazing customer service. Jenny is the daughter of Gloria and she was running the store with a new born and mom away on vacation. They did not miss a beat. Jenny helped while in store with choosing a dress and asking about style preferences to pull dresses to try on, she made the entire process and my daughter comfortable. The even fitted the dress with alterations, which was a relief not having to take the dress elsewhere. Additional fees do apply. Gloria messaged me the next day about the dress we ordered while still away and made sure all loose ends were tied up. The dress was comparable to all other shops and reasonably priced. We will be heading in for her Senior Ball dress as well. My daughter was so impressed she referred 4 other friends to get their dresses there.

John was really knowledgeable, kind and actively wanted to help. He helped me make the right decisions and made it easy and painless. He allowed me and my now wife to come to the store before they opened, to help and to pick up and drop off items. Jillian is an angel. On the way to my final fitting, a car pulled out in front of me on my electric scooter, and while trying to swerve and miss the car I was thrown from the scooter and got really bad road rash on my elbows, knees, hands and on my hip. I showed up to the appointment bleeding and limping. Jillian grabbed the first aid kit and dressed my wounds and was overall just very kind and eager to help both with my suit and with my newfound injury. After the wedding I forgot to include a few minor items (cufflinks & Tuxedo Den suit hanger) and they were totally fine with me taking a few days to get it back to them hassle free. I would 100% use them again for any rentals or if I was looking to purchase. Every person I dealt with at Tuxedo Den was kind and professional and they are fantastic at what they do. I stopped by this place to check it out. Was driving by and saw some suits that were nice in the window. Let me cut this short and say this place is ripping Sacramento off big time. Most folks won't know because this is one of the only suit shops in the area. But coming from someone who buys suits on the regular, this place is NOT it. Almost every suit I looked at was wayyyy less somewhere else. There's one suit in particular where they were selling it for $799. Online was $269. The worker tried to sell me on alterations, but even with alterations, it still doesn't make sense for the suit to be $799. With alterations would probably add another $60 to $150 depending on what needs to be done. I couldn't believe it. Being a business owner myself, i know one thing. Every manufacturer has MSRP and MAP prices. The MSRP is "Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price". The MAP price is "Manufacturers asking price". You CAN sell for the MSRP, but it's best to sell at the MAP because that's the amount that the market will sell for. Honestly this place is good if you need somewhere to check out some stuff. But once you check it out, do yourself a favor and purchase online. WAYYYYY overpriced. I attached a few pics of the suit that i checked out in the store. I found wayyyy more suits in the store that when i looked online, they were wayyyy cheaper.

I arrived with my Mom and sister months before my wedding date and didn't want to try on dresses (needless to say we had gone to several stores prior to Diamond and I didn't try on a dress at any one of them). But famous words "when you know, you know"... I found the one! It fit me like a glove! - but it wasn't necessarily my 'style' in the front.. but no problem! They altered it in-house to perfection! The front mesh was cut out from the collar and the sides were taken taken in, beads were added at the straps, hook and eyes to back, and when I flew back up from San Diego to pick it up- it was my Dream Wedding Dress :) Pictures don't do justice but the tears of happiness when trying on their dress and the passion that goes into their work, that does. I would recommend anyone and everyone to check them out- they can make miracles happen too. Side note: we got married during covid so we had to go to Vegas to get married with just us two but I WILL wear my dress again for our actual wedding ceremony with friends and family and I can't wait to wear it again! The alterations are so clean you can't even tell anything was changed. No loose seams, just a sharp, professional fit. They even finished it the same day. What stood out too was the attention to detail, they kept the uniform clean and returned it with a hanger and plastic cover. It's the small things that show they actually care. I am happy to say that my experience at this bridal shop exceeded all of my expectations. Melody was my stylist and was phenomenal. She was patience, kind, listened to what I was drawn to, and pulled amazing dresses. Towards the end of my appointment I was torn between two dresses. With another party right behind mine, Melody suggested we come back at the end of the day to try the two contenders back on and to take some time to think about it. My party and I went to lunch, reflected on the dresses, and came back at the end of the day to revisit the two. At this time, all the other clients were gone and it was just my party, Melody, and one other stylist in the shop.
