Came here to see a yacht rock cover band and had a blast! In my opinion, it's the best outdoor music venue in the Austin area. The venue is beautiful with nice, clean restrooms, fans and misters, and plenty free seating options. They also have standing tables. Of course you can purchase tickets for reserved seating near the stage but I found that not to be necessary. They have plenty of tables available to general admission where you can scan a QR code to order food and drinks. They don't allow you to bring chairs but you can bring a blanket. Parking is abundant and free! Drink prices were not ridiculous, my piña colada was $13 which is about what cocktails cost everywhere. I highly recommended seeing live music here. read more

Impressed with how nice and clean this venue was. I liked that we were able to order drinks and food from our table with a QR code and the very friendly wait staff delivered shortly after. Each time the wait staff dropped off items at our table they would clean off empty glasses and trash. Even with a concert going on they kept the bathrooms clean and stocked. I came to the Haute Spot for an event last Friday. This was the first time I have been here since the name/establishment changed. This establishment is one of the newer venues available for private and corporate events and provides a great atmosphere for groups from 20 to 400. This venue serves as an interesting mix of a music stage, meeting place and event space. I came here for a private event that had catered food and a silent disco. I found the event staff to be both helpful and welcoming. The venue was clean on the inside and afforded guest with heat lamps and fire pits outside to stay warm during these chill Cedar Park nights. The directions outside of the establishment leading to the party were not obvious, perhaps for larger gatherings this information is more clear *however this event hosted by SimileOn had at least 150+ in attendance. The venue itself is okay, but interaction with staff was hugely disappointing. My friend and I passed through multiple checks and were all the way inside with our blanket already set down when someone claiming to be the head of security (named Anthony Burton) approached, saying her bag was "illegal" and had to be taken off the premises. He was very rude for starters, but also clearly lacking in intelligence, making me question how on Earth he could've been appointed head of anything. We reported the incident to the manager of the venue (Mitchell), whose grand solution was to offer to buy us a couple of drinks...but my friend doesn't drink at all and I hardly do! Customer service overall leaves much to be desired. read more

Terrific venue. Good service. Food is a better than average. Music was too loud for a Thursday night. LARGE outdoor area; lots of oaks shading the open spaces; and, a couple of large covered patios. The BEST outdoor venue in a 25 mile radius, for sure. The hostess was polite and efficiently sat us at a high-top table in one of the covered patios. Our waitress arrived promptly at the table and returned with our drinks in a similar fashion. We ordered the chicken wings with tariaki sauce. The chicken was plump, but could have used another 60 seconds in the fryer. Tariaki sauce was (too) sweet and completely drenched the wings. That's probably my fault for not ordering the wings with the sauce on the side for dipping. Nonetheless, I would order the wings again, but with buffalo sauce on the side. The Thursday night house band was pretty good, as they played county, rockabilly,and blues. The only caveat is that the music was about 20% louder than it needed to be. Sitting in the very back of the patio, I could feel the bass in my chest and the vocals ringing in my ears. A conversation with the waitress or table mate required almost yelling. Generally a positive experience, and I'll be back. Hopefully, they'll turn the music down to 7 or 8, instead of "11" next time. read more

Lots of kinks to work out but overall AMAZING VENUE!!! Pros: intimate venue, astroturf, tables, awesome food, good ordering system and amazing overall vibe. Cons: communication, drink selection, food ticket times, The only other negative comment I have is about the set up with the bar tables "inside" and the party porch upstairs. Those two areas seem to make people feel they were there to socialize so in the back it was very hard to get into the show with all the racket. Even the artist asked them to quiet down which lasted a whole 30 seconds before they all started up again. Overall: I love this place!!! I bought a table a couple of months ago to see Justin Furstenfeld for our anniversary and last night was finally the night. I had been stalking the venue online since I got the tickets, watching the Reno progress was totally pumping me up for the show. The week of, rain was all over the forecast and I couldn't find any info on their rain policy. If you follow their Facebook they are good at posting but horrible at replying to comments. Many people were looking for actual show start time vs doors, weather questions, rain plans, etc, with crickets from Haute spot. If you message them on Facebook you get an automated message so sent an email. The response from Tom was that most of the tables were inside or under the cover. I responded with my tickets asking if he could tell me where our table was .....but never received a response. Upon arrival at 7:20ish, after scanning our tickets we were told "oh, so.... tier 2 was first come first served" and that all of those tables were taken but there were some off over there behind the tree. Well if Tom would have mentioned that it would have been great, but he didn't so I of course was frustrated. We sit down and literally all we could see was a big beautiful oak tree with the stage lights glowing from behind them. My husband never likes to make a fuss and for once he was even like "we need to talk to someone". The usher took me to the bar and introduced me to Nick. First impression of Nick was 5 star. He was busting his butt making drinks but asked the bartender to finish his ticket, without even bat or roll an eye, came right out from behind the bar to see the table. He said it's hard with the tables needing to be 6ft apart but that he was going to see what he could do. Nick came back and gave us the nod to follow. He found or maybe even created a table for us in the bar tops under the cover. It was the furthest you could get from the stage but it was center with a full open view. We were so impressed and while it wasn't the dream seating I had in my head we were so thankful for Nick. As the show started friends of the crew or of the singer started gathering around the sound table smack dab in front of us. A waitress walked by saw that we couldn't see, went to speak to the sound crew and others standing. I don't know what she said but all the extra people vanished and she took the sound guys chairs. Y'all! Seriously, this woman went and found two chairs and physically took them to the guys. Again, blown away by their service! We tried to tip her but she wouldn't take it, she even mentioned something about just being a volunteer even. Ordering takes a minute to figure out but is amazing!!! You order everything and pay with your phone so you never have to wait in a line during the show which is genius. We ordered our food, several drinks and here they start coming, the drinks that is. After waiting for food until 9:30 we had to be Karen's again and ask about it. They said the kitchen was on a 2.5 hour wait. Yikes. I mean, I get it, 1,000 people all show up and order at the same time you are going to get weeded. So what can be done about this? I would imagine this is going to be an issue with almost any show since all of guests show up at the same time for the show. Well, I was so drunk and Hangry that I couldn't even tell you if it was really as good as I thought. But it was SOOO good, the pretzels were like buttery, salty clouds from heaven. The BBQ pizza was super flavorful and anything else I may have had must have been good too. Bathrooms were gorgeous but both the men's and women's had toilets backing up, there was poop and piss water all over the floors and smelled like sewage. In the future I will be there when the doors open and eat dinner before I go or at least a snack on the way. I would LOVE to give this place 5 stars but in reality they probably deserve a 3 in some areas. Giving a solid 4 because I really just love it and think it's an amazing addition to Cedar park and surrounding. read more

I don't venture to Cedar Park too often, but I'm glad they have this venue now. It's a cozy spot - not a giant place so there are no bad places to post up and enjoy your show. When the weather is great, it's the perfect setting to enjoy some entertainment outside. Depending on the setup there may be tables available to sit at. There are lawn games as well that you can play which can help pass the time between acts. The drinks are rather pricey but that's just the normal venue experience. There is a parking lot next to the venue but there is also street parking too. read more

Came for Kameron Marlowe and saw a couple great artists before him - one suggestion to the marketing team - on The screen with the artists names, put their QR codes to Spotify or iTunes so we can follow them! We've been lucky enough to attend a few shows and every single one was a blast! Being an outdoor venue, they do a nice job of bringing out misters or heaters as needed, but we always plan accordingly just in case we can't be close to one. Concerts do not start on time and are delayed hours from start time. Simply ridiculous

We went to this venue for our first time and had to stand in line for two hours before evem getting in although it said the doors would open at 6:30pm. We also had purchased VIP tickets. Per website, this meant chairs with table. You paid double than the GA tickets. When we finally got inside (after waiting outside hours!), we were told we could sit anywhere unless it had a Reserves sign. So we sit down at a table with four chairs (high top) with no Reserved sign, exhausted and thirsty, only to be shooshed away and being tols these were reserved and not included in the VIP tickets we bought. Again, when purchasing the pricey tickets, the website said: Table with chairs! The pictures also showed the kind of table we were sitting at. Management told us we could only sit in chairs with a small end table. Which meant: a cheap fased used lawn chair with a small end table. Their website has an absolute false advertisement. It is also misleading because they do not differentiate between the nice high top tables and chairs ( which you will see online) and the cheap faded lawnchairs when you purchase tickets on their website. It only says: Chairs w/table and they will cost twice the money than regular tickets. Management told me that these are reserved and they only promised a chair with a small table. Again, nowhere is or was that mentioned when purchasing these tickets. Again, not what I paid for and their website advertised. We will not be going back. read more

This is the perfect spot to go for music gatherings. The music is on target, as well as the food. We've been very happy with the direction it has turned. With the shade and water misters, it makes it so pleasant even when it's 100° outside. We've been to many venues and had to deal with the parking, the heat, or the direct sun. They even offer bottled water along with a filling station as well. And there isn't a bad seat in the house. We saw Sister Hazel last night. Now, when the artist says that this is the coolest place to watch a band, that's saying a ton! "This is where I would want to come and see a band! It's so cool here at the Haute Spot. The food is pretty good, but I found that some items are big enough for 2 to share, so be careful not to overorder. We were seated at a "high" table, which is basically a tall bar table with 4 tall stools. Even so. The stage is so low that we could only see the heads of some of the performers and some not at all because of the standees between us and the stage. It would be good if the stage could be raised at least 3 to 4 feet so people who paid extra for seats could see the performers. read more

Tried this place for the LAST TIME tonight. I have never been treated so rudely by staff in my life. Some pot belly manager with glasses basically came and pull a chair out from under me that I sat down to use to tie my shoe. He snapped "you can't sit there!" and shook his head at me. Total lack of tact, and down right rude. Delivery and tone is everything in customer service. This guy walks around with his keys hanging by his belt like he's Tonto. Never ever again. We went to see Suede last night with a large group. The band was AWESOME, the venue not so much. We reserved a table but when we arrived there were no tables and no chairs. No one from the staff would help us. These guys are a complete rip-off. In addition, the bar drinks are crappy. They are watered down and the bar tenders pour fake alcohol from brand name bottles (eg cheap vodka poured from a Tito's bottle!!!). So much potential for this venue but I felt that we were robbed of our ticket $$ and drink $$. You should be ashamed of your business practices. read more

My best friend lives in Austin and I was thinking of making the drive from Houston area to visit him and his wife. In discussing ideas of what to do while I was there, my friend mentioned The Haute Spot and how much they loved going there. Saw that Dylan Wheeler was going to be at The Haute Spot, which closed the deal. I'm making the road trip to hang out and listen to some damn good music. Had a question regarding seating accomodations so I reached out to The Haute Spot and Donovan replied back quickly. He was extremely helpful. Fast forward a week later and we arrive that night to enjoy ourselves. What a GREAT place!!! Absolutely LOVED the venue and the whole vibe. Great place to watch some live music and hang out with friends. Service was efficient and quick. You order drinks and/or food thru your phone and voila! It's there in a flash. Ordered quite a few rounds of drinks for my table (all via their mobile menu) and every time, they arrived quickly. Even paid out at the end via the mobile site. Staff were on top of things and the ordering process was a breeze. Donovan was even there and swung by my table to introduce himself and say hi. We had a great time and hope I get to make it back there for another show. Bravo to The Haute Spot and kudos to Donovan for making our night great! read more

Warning- Bought premium balcony tickets at the Haute Spot for the John Michael Montgomery concert for $85.00 each- The most expensive tickets for this event. I think t he reserved tickets were $75 and seat at tables were $55 but you had to buy 4 at a time. Tickets were not listed as standing room only at time of purchase . (I have bought standing room only seats before for concerts, but they were always listed as such). Other patrons are questioning and are in agreement saying tickets were not listed as standing room at time of purchase but now e tickets state that). Photos of red barstools at the balcony are clearly pictured in venue photos but absent when we got here. I don't feel like we got what we paid for. Other patrons were also feeling duped and questioning employees. Employee said that sometimes there are seats on balcony and sometimes there are not. They don't guarantee seating. Seems like shady business practices. I drove in from Fort Worth and definitely feel ripped off and not likely to return. If I was running a hospitality based business, I'd go buy 40 folding chairs or borrow some from a nearby church or rental before I risked making the patrons mad and leaving them feeling ripped off. There are now an estimate of 100 people on balcony. That ruins your return business and everyone who reads their review or listens to their experince. I see a lot of music event people both Fri and Sat night every weekend of the year and you can be sure I'm telling everyone about this experience. No owner or manger came out try to mitigate the problem. A young man did come out and said they would find the woman standing next to us a seat somewhere below because she had a hip replacement recently and could no longer stand. The rest of us were just out of luck. Extremely poor customer service. From the look of other reviews from last night, people on floor level seating were upset too. read more

I've been 4 times now and kept hoping it would get better but it doesn't. The parking is complicated and in the grass and lots of times rutted because of big trucks and the sound quality is absolutely horrible. It's ENTIRELY too loud, and I enjoy moderately loud concerts and have played guitar in a band previously. chairs are tiny and flimsy and the drinks are retarded expensive and totally short-poured. I ask for doubles and dont even get them, but get charged $20 for them. You would think they were selling cold bottled water in the desert or a burger at the top of a mountain instead of Titos Vokda in a back yard in Cedar Park. I'll never go back - period. It's so much more fun to catch a better show in a box at the hokey arena or the moody theater. read more

issues improved for a while under new management, but now we're right back to extremely loud music that shakes walls and rattles windows all the way into Blockhouse Creek until nearly midnight quite frequently. Some of us have to get up and work in the morning. The neighborhoods were here before this place was built, but they are unwilling to be considerate and work with the residents. How do you get away with those late night volumes when you are right across the road from a hospital? Zero consideration for others.
