However it was more than half empty and so quiet when we went up in the early afternoon noon, that it was almost boring. No music or anything. There were also about 5 bar staff and 10 customers on the entire roof, and our wine and frozen cocktail took a while to get. Came here a couple times. Once for lunch and then a dinner on a different evening. In both cases the experience was very good. The menu has great choices. The prices for lunch were reasonable, and the dinner prices were on the pricey side. There were only a few tables being served for lunch, but then dinner time, the place was much busier. Service was overall good, but we waited a considerable amount of time at dinner for our drinks. The dinner drinks were all specials, inventive, and expensive. All of the dishes we ordered were all done extremely well. Excellent preparation, well seasoned, the right temps, and good portions. Dinner came we a couple baskets of bread, fresh and warm, with a specialty butter. The servers were attentive, personal, patient and helpful. We would come back in the future. read more

Nothing like scoring a table with a view! The server was anxious to please, helpful explaining the menu and attentive. The BlackBerry Smash with Old Forester bourbon, blackberry liqueur, citrus and basil was refreshing, and thankfully not too sweet. The shareable Hot Grouper bites were fried to perfection with Nashville style hot chili oil, sweet-hot pickles and served with Buttermilk herb dressing. The charred lemon was a perfect accompaniment for drizzling lemon juice over the bites. Loved my time of relaxation here and will return. read more

Super hit or miss spot. It'll stay in business because it's attached to the pearl and the only "rooftop" in the Rosemary Beach, but it needs new management or at least new employees. Understaffing is a huge issue. The service is bad, unless you're sitting at the bar where they can't forget about you. Our first meal here was great - the wings and fiesta fries are amazing. My drink was a little watered down though, but our bartender was nice and attentive. Our second meal here was a disaster. No host so we stood around for 5 or so minutes while every employee ignored us before we asked if we should just seat ourselves. We then watched our fiesta fries sit at the window for 10 minutes. Our waitress finally brought them, and they were ice cold and then we didn't see her for another 10 minutes. She brought the check and never asked how our food was or why our fries were not touched. Yikes. We also overheard employees complaining about people at the pool ordering so many drinks. Isn't this what you want them to do? If you don't want people at the pool to order anything, take the menus away. And definitely don't talk sh*t in front of customers! Crazy that a hotel costing upwards of $1,000 a night can't have a good rooftop restaurant or pool service! read more

Located in beautiful Rosemary Beach at the Pearl Hotel. We came for lunch and a glass of wine. Beautiful area, but overall experience was very underwhelming. This place appears to be a great. There was live music and good vibes, but the service is horrid. I was with 2 others and our food took over an hour to come out after ordering and we got no drinks or appetizers. Our server did not speak english very well and only came up to us twice in our time being there. She said there were issues in the kitchen, but did not do or offer anything to make our time there more pleasant. The food was alright, but definitely not worth the wait. If going, as an entree I would recommend the chicken wrap. read more

In July 2016, I gave this place 3 stars. Yeahhhh... wellllll... nope... It's now 2..... and to be perfectly honest, if it wasn't for the great views on the rooftop, this being the only rooftop experience in Rosemary, and a kind staff, this place would get 1 star. Kind staff, yes, but Super Slow. Burger was good but not 15 dollars good. Vodka Tonic was fine but not worth the price. Of course, maybe... just maybe... I would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't taken 10 minutes to get water, 30 minutes to get our first round of 3 Vodka and Tonics, and an hour and 20 minutes to get 2 burgers. No fries, no second round of drinks, no additional anything except the food after the hour and 20 minutes,....... minus the ketchup, additional plate, silverware, and napkins requested. (These items took an additional 15 minutes to get after food was delivered.) Here's the kicker. It wasn't crowded. Our group was sitting on the couch by the music area. Some other groups did come to this area but all quickly left (some to another area and some left the restaurant) due to the extremely loud DJ- Techno music playing a few feet away from us. Come on.... I've been here before when they've had some "out there" acoustic bands but this was HORRIBLE. It's a small area. There really isn't a dance floor. Look at the crowd. Yes, it's a mixture of young, middle aged, and well seasoned but NO ONE wants to sit on a rooftop to eat, DRINK, feel the breeze, and look at the ocean while listening to loud TECHNO music. Great place to grab some drinks with a nice vibe and view. I've tried a few of the their cocktails and they were great! The wine pours were large as well. However, the guacamole was so bad it was offensive. Tastes straight out of a holy guacamole package and cost $9. Empanadas and wings were amazing as were the sandwiches. Service was a little lacking... not bad but it didn't match the quality of the hotel and surrounding service levels. Came with a big Bachelorette party. We had to guarantee a $50 pp minimum to reserve. Some thoughts: *the exterior of the hotel is super cute, so visually it's nice. There is less sea view than you'd expect though * the cabanas are HOT. no fans plus a privacy wall means no airflow. We were there at night and still sweaty. *getting water was harder than it should be. One time I asked our server 3 times before finally getting water. And they don't refill you via pitchers. You get a new wasteful plastic cup. *the food menu is extremely limited. 3 mains and 3 or 4 apps. I got the burger, it was 2 patties and the fries were tasty but it was $18!!! *bathroom is in the hotel lobby so prepare for lots of steps *for a place that is supposed to have good cocktails.. This bar is located in The Pearl Resort & Spa in Rosemary Beach. The area and the resort are both beautiful and almost a little Disney-esque in appearance AND prices. The resort is $500+ per night but that is a different story. You can visit the bar without staying at the resort. The view is gorgeous like all views along the gulf and the service was okay. They had live music beginning around 6pm and happy hour specials beginning around 3pm. After happy hour, the prices were a bit outrageous in my opinion. $12 for a beer is a little over the top when you can go down the street and have a beer for $4 with the same view. We ordered nachos which were mediocre at best and way overpriced. I might go back for happy hour but outside of that, it's not worth it. read more

Good drinks, terrible service. My girlfriends and I were looking forward to trying this place the last night of our trip. We were immediately sat by the hostess at a table next to the bar and were given drink menus. We sat for over 10 minutes, without seeing servers or having anyone come up to us, so we assumed we were supposed to order at the bar. When we went up to the bar, we were immediately helped. The bartender when ringing us up asked "to go right?" We told him no, we were just sitting at the table next to the bar. When we got the check, we saw a 20% ($10) "to go" charge added and circled. When we asked, the bartender explained that any drinks ordered at the bar were considered to go to help them during "busy season." Keep in mind our whole half of the rooftop had maybe 4 other people. We told him that we were there for a while without being helped so we thought we were supposed to order at the bar, but he told us we had to pay it anyways. We paid, (tipped!), and went back to our seats where a server came up and apologized that it "was the hostess's fault", and she assumed we were helped by someone else?? Literally felt like a scam, and the appropriate thing would've been to remove the charge. 0/10 read more

Drinks are less than average. The bar tenders constantly walked past us and continued to serve other guests. Not to mention they ran out of margarita mix and filled up the cup with more ice to make up for the lack of juice in the glass. Reservation for food and drinks was placed at 6:59PM. On the website it states that's the kitchen closes at 8. As the reservation was made no one asked did we want food once we were seated. Once the table was ready at 7:23. At 7:25 We walked up and we're asked "just drinks right?" And as we said no we wanted food the hostess informed us that at 7:30 the kitchen closed. At this point in the night, that was enough to show that not only were guests and customers not valued, but the efficiency of the restaurant was lacking in all aspects. This restaurant did not gain my business after these events, nor will it again. At this price range, I expected more from a restaurant. Disappointed to say the least. read more

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Upscale hotel and you would expect more of the restaurant. Started with drink being spilled on one of our party. Food was horrible! Expensive and got one half of a sandwich on one of the orders. Appetizers came out after the food. Chips was extremely stale. Do not come here!!!!
