For the first 30 minutes it was a very deep pressure message (no stones) then i had after i heard her pick up the stones i thought finally what i came for. well four stones rubbed down my back 4-6 times each and that was it. The night before went on YouTube to see what to expect; well this was nothing like any video i saw, not even close. After the message i tipped what i could afford, well nope. i attention was then pointed a sign that said tip ranges $10-ok, $15-good, $20-excellent, i am a believer in tips but not a set amount. well that wasnt the worst part. After reading some reviews I went in thinking "make sure sheets are clean" " make sure there are no visible bugs etc around" I found nothing wrong with facility. Victoria did a deep tissue and hot stone massage. Grateful that she spent a longer time on my back and shoulders. At some point I realized I was sleeping lol. She is good. Kinda hoped for less time on my upper glutes but not too bad. If pressure is too much speak up she is very understanding. The hot stones could be a little cooler. parking was great and free. I came here with a Groupon deal for a massage. This was one of the worst massages I've had. First off, I would suggest that their receptionist be a little more fluent in English considering the area. The rooms were simple, but the blankets/sheets they use look like something from someone's house, not professional. The young lady who performed my massage actually left the room for about 5-10 minutes to answer a phone call and she gave me additional time to compensate. I got to my appoint 30 minutes early to find out that they said I had cancelled my appointment which I never did. There's only one person that do the body wrap and it was made my appt only. The lady wasn't there, ladies there called her told her, said she would be at the spa in 30 mins, I said fine ok I'll wait. I've been having some back pain and woke up this morning deciding that it's time for a massage. I searched on Groupon and discovered Haven Day Spa. They were having a sale today - $30 for an hour massage! Sold. The Groupon says that a reservation was needed 24 hours in advance, but I called hoping they could squeeze me in. I called right when they opened and I was able to get an appointment within the hour! I received a confirmation text for my appointment, which was useful upon arrival. They have a parking lot, which is helpful, especially since it's located downtown. I was greeted by the staff and showed them my text. This was by far one of the best massages I've had. She could tell that my neck and back were tense, so she focused on those areas. It was a full body massage. Back, neck, head, legs, everything! There was a lot of background noise due to the location, but the music helped a bit. The room was very clean and relaxing. After the massage and getting changed, I walked back to the front and my masseuse offered water. They also have a fridge in the front stocked with water bottles for free. Upon paying, they have a FiveStar rewards program where you can get a free massage once you have enough points. I'll definitely come back again if they have more deals and promotions. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Really sketchy place!!!!!!! I normally do not leave such reviews. But I was VERY concerned about this place. I do not want another person to get fooled by this place. Looks rundown, poor quality of the waiting room, massage rooms, and the look of the place is just dark and scary. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. Something strange is going on here. Made me feel uneasy and unsafe. I should have left the minute I walked in and felt something was off about the place. It was unsanitary. Smelled weird. Dirty. They didn't speak english. The woman that massaged me didn't understand a word I said to her I felt so bad for her. And the sheets in the room looked oily like they hadn't changed it prior to my appointment. NEVER GOING BACK! And when I went to pay, the guy/ owner pointed to a sign that read "suggested tips minimum $10-20". I'm sorry but that is highly unprofessional! You need to improve the quality of the interior and the experience you give people to want people to tip that much. Suggested does not mean required. He should be happy I just paid because I wanted to get out of there in one piece. These other 4-5 star reviews must be family and friends of the business owner. I have been to this place about 3 times now.......I think the female owner who runs the front desk should learn to be consistent with the way she treats her clients and their pricing. The place could use some sprucing up and interior improvements - fresh coat of paint, sheets that are very thin, etc. The price is also not very consistent, she has quoted me different prices, which concerns me about her honesty and reliability. She is quite moody and her temperament is unstable. Fortunately, her massage therapist does a good job so it's kept me going back. The owner should understand that while it's great to draw new clients, it's crucial to keep clients returning and have a reliable base of patrons. There are many new places that I can take my business to.....Nevertheless, I will still give this place a chance and hopefully the female owner will accept constructive criticism. read more

Outstanding! I had the best professional massage and facial at Haven Day Spa. I received a 90 minute "deep tissue" massage and then I had a 60 minute facial. I was truly relaxed and very satisfied. The day spa is very modern. It is beautiful with very clean facilities. The rooms are very large with soothing music being played while you enjoy your massage or facial. The rates both for the massage and facial were very reasonable. I have received two facials and I will return for the massage and other professional services. The "deep tissue" massage is excellent because I am experiencing stiffness in both of my hips. The trained therapists are very professional, friendly and nice. I had a stressful week at work and I had a lot pain on my shoulders. A friend recommend me to get a massage at this place. I came without an appointment and was very busy. No one was available and I had to wait like half an hour (they have good tea and some old magazines but I wish they have WiFi). The massage was Delicious! Not to hard not to soft. In less than 5 min I know I was on professional and experiences hands. My therapist was kind of a quiet person and I am very talkative, but she was patient and a good listener. Take my review lightly as this is my first time to a "spa" or getting a professional massage. My husband gave me a gift card for mothers day from spa finder and this was the closest to my job and home, so I convinced my sister to go with me last night on a Sunday. They were very nice over the phone and accommodated my sister and I at 9:00 p.m. We had seen online that they had a 45 minute combo for $55. When we got there Mr. John informed me that it was cash only, I could honestly say I did not see that online but when I checked again later that night it did say cash only, I think he might have changed it because before I did not see that. I only saw cash only on a special they had. Anyways, he was nice enough to accept my gift card which was for $60 but he said he could not return it so I did not mind because it was only $5. My sister and I went to different rooms, I did waited about 10 minutes but that was not a big deal for me. I got Linda, she asked if I wanted hard, medium or soft. I replied soft because I just wanted to relax. Unfortunately, at first she was massaging me with the sheet on, but then she removed the sheet and applied oil. It was really hurting me but I did not want to say anything because I was thinking maybe I have a lot of knots. It was my fault because I did not speak up. There were parts of the massage that I liked because it felt good but 50% of it hurt, again maybe if I had said something she would have eased up lol. When it came for the foot massage maybe she got grossed out with my feet because she used gloves. There was no technique or anything and the gloves were rubbing me and it did not feel good. So I liked the massage 50% of the time. However, my sister said she loved it she got Jenny. She said she did not get hurt or anything and she really liked her. When we left I still tipped $20 because they are super nice and I really wish I could give them 5 stars but for my first time I was a little bit disappointed. When we were leaving they asked if the tip I had left were for both of them I said no My sister left the tip on her credit card. I reminded my sister to tip in cash lol. Today, I went to Haven Day Spa and had Rosa for my massage therapist. I was very pleased with her intuitive approach. Her pressure was appropriate and consistent at all times. Her pressure was never too hard nor did she just slide over tissue. Rosa had a sense of what areas needed more work and stayed with it. Overall, I had a very relaxing yet therapeutic massage.
