Old town has many options and Haven Haus Cafe has just been added to our list when friends/family come to visit. We came during the week when there weren't as many people. The staff was inviting and offered great suggestions when we asked about their menu options. We ordered their mimosa flight, an asada burrito and a mediterranean chicken bowl. The flight had great variation in flavors yet the portions made it hard to justify the $25. The bowl was too big for me to eat in one sitting. I found it had everything I was looking for in a bowl- greens, rice, and lots of tasty protein! This place gave off IG vibes with their neon signs and greenery. We knew it was going to be a long wait since it was the weekend so that was fine. We came during the heat wave and it was really hot! It felt that it was equally hot inside as it was outside which was a bummer. This may have contributed to our not-so-pleasant experience. Still we were eager to eat and drink. Service started out great but after we got our food and when we were done, the server was no where to be found. We ordered a couple of entrees, all which looked amazing but honestly looked much better than they tasted. In summary, we had an ok experience. Still... I would return! As soon as we were seated, we were greeted by Madison who walked us through the menu and got us started with appetizers and drinks. We ordered the corn ribs and shrimp ceviche to start. We also added some drinks: Old Fashioned and Apple Cider w cold foam. Both were delicious. The appetizers were great too. We went on to order the bacon avo Benny and breakfast burrito. My Benny was good but I should have requested extra toast on the English muffin. I hate soggy bread. Hubby thought the burrito had good flavor but should have had more color. Been back a few more times and every single time we have poor service. Friday breakfast multiple times and just tried a Friday lunch. Each time it has taken me 10-15 minutes to get greeted once seated and each visit has had issues with food not coming out as ordered. Servers need to focus more on guests instead of socializing amongst themselves. We send food back and it gets corrected with an apology which is fine once in awhile but not each time. We come as a family together and we all end up waiting with our food getting cold while we wait for someone's food to be remade. There's plenty of other options in the area. read more

Alittle too much cinnamon on the pancakes as I was inhaling it lol but the presentation and taste were good. The chicken and biscuits were really good. The chicken was strips, so we were alittle disappointed that they were not homemade but understandable. The drinks were fire ... the margarita flight was awesome and the cookie dough cappuccino drink was also tasty. Overall the food and atmosphere were awesome. Our waitress kept disappearing so we had to wait 10 min to get our check but they were very busy. We has the best breakfast at Haven Haus. It is new to us and the place looks new. It is really pretty and very clean. They have a lot of offerings from breakfast to lunch. I don't know if they are open for dinner. They have burgers and wraps and healthy items for lunch. It all looks great on the menu, but we were here for breakfast. We ordered a few things and shared. The crepes were super good and the benny benedict was just perfect, the eggs were so good and the sauce was remarkable. We also loved their berry bowl with grain and such a nice topping. Their drinks are great. All of it was super. The service was very good. The staff was all very nice and our food came hot and as ordered. Such nice people they are.
