Had to flag down our server to take our order after being seated, almost an hour for our food to be served with no explanation until 40 mins of waiting. Our biscuit was over cooked and our server was nowhere to be seen. I did like the decorations and I understand the kitchen could get backed up but I would've liked to be informed earlier about the issue. read more

I was very disappointed with our experience this afternoon!! We expected to wait 40 minutes so not a problem it's a Sunday we were excited to eat there however, when they took us to our table they walked us over to a dirty table and were told to sit and they would come by to wipe it down! Yuck !! There were food crumbs all over the table and the chairs were sticky the table was just as it was left from the previous party. Gross !! Instead of sitting we stood to the side and waited to watch it barely get wiped down already a bad start. We sat in the patio near the outside gate that was being loudly slammed by the waiters that kept going in and out. My omelet was mushy and not enjoyable due to the runny spinach that was still cold and flavorless. I tried making the best of my time instead of ruining the moment and complaining but It was overall a very unpleasant experience not what we were excited or expected at all! Can I just Brag about the wonderful servers there???!!! They have just been fantastic, I've been a total of 3 times so far and Haven haus is my go to brunch spot with my gfs now in Temecula. I have tried most of the flights, (margarita is a must, sangria was delicious & mimosa wells that was great too, All so delicious. I am also so grateful that they have a coffee flight since we stopped for brunch before heading out to go wine tasting and our sober gf wanted to part of the fun, the coffee flight was a fantastic treat for her and they look absolutely adorable. I love the chilaquiles they are my fav. Both the chicken & steak you can't go wrong whatever your preference is. Sorry, I was not a fan of the chicken sliders, the chicken pieces were small and it might need some honey added to them. We went for breakfast. All the food was delicious. The coffee was good and they have different fun options. Our server was a great person with a genuine friendly personality which we really appreciated. The decor on the inside is really fun and well put together. Every table has a table height coat hook adjacent to it which was a nice touch and came in great handy since so many of us had purses and hats we wanted to set aside. Not thrilled. They agreed to help support a brand new school by donating a $100 gift card to a school gala that was auctioned off. so we bought the gift basket that that had the gift card in it. When we went to redeem the gift card at the restaurant they turned their heads, acted like they had no idea who the school was or what we were talking about. We have contacted the school asking for help, they have also reached out on our behalf and yet refuse to acknowledge that they offered this. This is extremely disappointing, a local restaurant that wanted to support a local school completely went back on their offer. Bad business. Especially for a new restaurant. The school is just as disappointed with the outcome of this and that they are sharing this experience as well. read more

I've been wanting to come here to see what the hype was about and was disappointed! The vibe and decor was beautiful and the music was nostalgic for millennials. The wait was typical for the a weekend, an hour. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. We constantly had to flag down someone for something. The coffee flight was like watered down milkshakes and all flavors tasted the same. The margarita flight was ok but I thought the one at Begood was better. We had multiple breakfast entrees and a few appetizers and all were lacking flavor and luke warm. Maybe try to come during the week when it's not so crowded. read more

Food was below average, service was super slow. I went on a Friday 0830-0930 ish. The hash-browns was burnt, the crepes had like strawberry jam instead of real natural strawberries. The biscuits and gravy were cold and hard. The hollandaise sauce on my bennys were like curdled and not mixed properly, it was not good at all. The server was nice and did the best he could. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience . We went Friday evening around 7:30pm walked up was seated with in a few minutes ( restaurant was pretty empty , even though old town packed ) we looked at menu and were trying to decide but to due to the lack of service we decided just to order a drink so we could go across the street to eat dinner . My wife and i ordered two drinks 1) modelo 2) Michelada . The beer showed up maybe 5 minutes later , the waitress arrived with only one drink and said she would bring the 2nd once the bar was done making it . We sat and waited another 5-6min at this point we just wanted to walk out and leave the drink but decided to wait. Finally the 2nd drink arrives and it seemed like it was the first time they made a Michelada it was absolutely horrible . We left both drink paid the $25. Tank and walked across the street to the Swing cafe ( food was amazing , services was over the top ) o would highly recommend waiting about few months before trying this place out . Three of us went for brunch around 10 this morning, I specifically got on the waitlist for inside seating because of the heat. We get seated and it's so hot inside. The waitress told us the AC isn't working quite right. There were no extra windows or doors open except for the front door which just let hot air in without creating any sort of crosswind, and no fans. Still, hot air meant lots of flies too. The wait for food was pretty long. My chilaquiles were delicious, and the avocado benny and crepe my friends got were great as well. I was so overheated though it was hard to finish my food. We ordered a round of drinks and it took nearly 25 minutes for my one mimosa to come out, my friends got their's after 5-10 minutes waiting. Our waitress was very nice and I don't blame her for the restaurant's failures. I won't be going back for the foreseeable future, especially during this heat. I left overheated and feeling exhausted with a headache. read more

The first time I came to this place on a Friday afternoon it was amazing. Service was quick, portions were generous, very good experience. I came back with my family on a Sunday and couldn't even get in the door. We showed up at 3 and the couple right in front of us were seated no issues. Then the host told us there's a problem with the kitchen and they're not seating anyone else and they're closed for the day. I understand sometimes the kitchen is backed up or the food is running low, but don't seat the people standing in line in front of us then turn us away? We were only a party of 3, we weren't a big party and we didn't come right as they were closing. I thought that was so rude and unprofessional. Turn everyone away if there's an issue but don't only accommodate some and not others. I'm so disappointed because the service and staff were wonderful the first time I came but the weekend staff and service is not so nice. read more

My friends and I came here for brunch and waited 2 hours in the hot sun just to be seated outside despite requesting indoor seating. Customer service was awful, the server with the undercut and pigtails was extremely rude and dismissive and disrespectful. She only came by our table once and she gave us dirty looks and spoke in a nasty tone but sparked conversation with every table. Our poor friend felt very sick from the heat and wait time and she was not very accommodating at all. Good food. Prices are moderate. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is for two reasons, one is due to being charged a 20% gratuity especially with the new law that passed on July 2nd that gratuity can no longer be charged to you. By law, I believe that they are within their rights to charge us since they do have the 20% gratuity printed on the menu to advise patrons, but I didn't read the fine print. Second, my skillet was supposed to come with a side and when I wasn't asked what side I wanted and asked our waitress said that the bed of hash browns my skilet was on was my side, okay, I won't argue. 1st time here, and was dissappointed. Service was not up to par. Got seated right away, was acknowledged by the server after a few mins of being seated. Ordered and after 20 mins of waiting for our food, we were told that they had a big togo order so the kitchen was backed up! After 15 more minutes of waiting, I asked our server what is the ETA of our food. She said it was coming right out-took 10 mins! While waiting all that time, our drinks were not refilled. Food finally came after 10 mins of being told it was coming right out, we had no plates for the breakfast board, had to ask for ketchup and syrup!
