Came here for 4 days for my birthday week and it was perfection! The vibe of the place rocks! Love all the fun common spaces to relax and chill. The firepit and garden area is super relaxing. The pool area is nice and spread out with different places to veg out. And you're steps away from the beach! They provide free beach chairs, paddle boards, bikes, and access to a grill. What more could you ask for?! The room was really clean and pretty spacious - our queen beds were super comfy! I would come back here next summer in a heartbeat! You're also super close to restaurants and can bike to Gosman's super quick. Also, Goldberg's Bagel Shop is about a 5 min walk for a quick breakfast. I can't say better things about this place. Such a perfect stay!

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Cute little motel located in the heart of Montauk and a quick walk to the beach. Campfires, free bike rentals, and paddle boards as well!

Had a great two day stay here recently. It was off season and at the beginning of the week, so we got a good daily rate. We booked a single room suite, which was plenty of room for two people who were planning on spending most of the day out and about. The front desk isn't 24 hours, so get in any requests before 7pm when the office closes. There's a fire pit in a garden area on the side of the hotel (there's an emergency number you can call for anything that can't wait till the morning). Fire starts at 7pm. Overall, a good stay. My only issue was we found a rather large blonde hairball on the bathroom floor. Both of us have black hair. Yuck.

Malin + Goetz shampoo and body wash a nice touch.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Haven Montauk last week and was quite happy all around. I came after season so the rates were a bit lower. Fresh, clean, pleasant, light and airy. Every member of the staff was attentive and professional. I love that they have water with ice and sliced oranges outside all the time. Great for refilling your own water bottles. Coffee is out from morning along with apples and Chobani yogurt. I love the fact the it's on the bay instead of the busier part of Montauk. And so nice to be able to jump on one of their complimentary beach bikes and head into town. I look forward to returning. Thank you!

What a great time! I came here for a night with my boyfriend to get away from city life. I have never stayed in a hotel that was not "in town" and was excited yet apprehensive to be staying somewhere that I couldn't walk to my food or other activities. It ended up being a great choice! Firstly, they let us check in an hour early! The welcome package came with s'mores & a little hand drawn guide book all about places to eat & things to do around Montauk. This hotel stands out compared to any other hotel I've stayed at in Montauk! (and I've stayed at a lot) The people who work here are so friendly & helpful! They gave us a late check out & they will hold your bags and allow you to hang around the facility after you check out for the day. The pool area was clean & had a lot of space to lay out. The fire pit at night was such a nice touch. We were staying on a Sunday night so the town was pretty dead once it got dark. The fire gave us something to do & we made some new friends while roasting our s'mores! They also offered bikes and paddle boards to use for the day. This hotel is pretty close to a residential area so it was nice to bike around the quiet streets & admire the beautiful houses and views. There was so much offered to us! The room was quaint and had all we needed. The king bed was HUGE. The TV had more stations than I've ever been able to get staying in MTK. The fridge was a good size & the bathroom was very clean & smelled nice. The room overall was clean & smelled like it has just been cleaned before we got there. A short walk away is Gosman's Dock which has restaurants & a few stores. If you drove here, the drive into town is 5 minutes & if you're planning on drinking an uber into town is only $15. I will definitely be coming back here!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Haven Montauk for 2 nights / 3 days and this being our first trip to Montauk, we felt very lucky to stumble upon this great spot! The staff was extra helpful and went out of their way to help us out with any requests or questions about the area. The rooms were extremely clean and recently remodeled. The motel also features a small pool with new outdoor furniture and relaxing (mostly) music. There are two small beaches and several restaurants within walking distance of the motel. One added bonus was the Solé bicycles that you can take for a ride - free of charge. Only setback is that the blue haven is a $12 cab ride to the plaza & the main Montauk beach area.

Newly renovated hotel and super friendly staff. Very accommodating. The rooms are very chic and clean. They did a great job putting it together. We enjoyed our stay here this past week. Only down side was the AC was a little noisy. The stay was well worth it.

My wife and I have been coming out to Montauk for a few years now . This was our first time staying at the Haven and I have to say it's really beautiful I love the location it's walking distance from the restaurants. We usually stay closer to the beach but I kind a like this place because its a lot quieter than most hotels in Montauk. The rooms are very well kept and the staff is very friendly.

Very nice big room / apartment on 2nd floor. Clean an quiet & an extremely friendly French receptionist. Not cheap though for an off-Season stay (450$ for 1 night) for 3 people but besides the price: flawless and nice location in the very quiet corner of Montauk.

Starting with the room, the size was good, but it could have been cleaner. I noticed some dust and dirt in the corners, and the room felt like it could use an update. The coffee machine looked older and wasn't very clean, the refrigerator wasn't working properly, and there wasn't an ice machine nearby--you have to call the front desk for ice. At night, the room wasn't very soundproof. You can hear footsteps from the room above, along with other noises, so if you're a light sleeper, it's something to keep in mind. On the weekend, the hotel was lively because of a wedding and the nightclub. There was music until around midnight, and when guests left, the noise from the cars made it difficult to get a full night's sleep. The food and drinks were very good, although they were on the expensive side. I was happy with the quality of the dining experience. Most of the staff were fine, though I noticed a few employees who seemed less welcoming. Thankfully, everyone I interacted with was polite. The overall atmosphere was the highlight of my stay. The property has a beautiful, relaxing vibe with a classy crowd, and I especially loved the morning yoga classes. I spent about $5,000 for a two-night stay, so I expected a more luxurious room experience. Mine was one of the more affordable room categories, and it didn't feel especially upscale for the price. Next time, I would probably visit for the food, drinks, beach, or spa day pass instead of staying overnight. If you're looking for a lively resort with plenty of events and activities, this is a great choice. If you're looking for a very quiet hotel, you may want to consider other options.

Upon arrival, was notified that the pool was out of service because the heater went down. They said I should have received a call. I didn't. After learning this, we figured we would spend most of our time in the hot tubs. Turns out, the heater went down for those also didn't work. The pool and the hot tubs were basically polar plunges. We booked a corner ocean view with a large balcony. The room itself was nice. Large, spacious and a wonderful shower with very nice water pressure. However, the room had ants. And a lot of them. I wish I took pictures. For a newly renovated property, you would think the HVAC systems would have been upgraded. But no. The heating in the room was so loud we actually had to turn it off in the middle of the night because it prevented us from sleeping. This property as a whole puts A-LOT of money on the esthetics. The lighting it beautiful, the wall decor is gorgeous, but it's the the things you don't see easily that need help. Ripped cushions, rotting wood on the patio, ants, poor HVAC, and clearly not a 24/7 on call pool repair for a resort that in the summer time charges $1500 a night for a basic room. Again, you book a winter getaway at a place like this to enjoy the pool and spa. When it's not working properly it just ruins the entire trip and there is no point in staying there. A seperate review of the restaurant was already posted by me. The restaurant was the saving grace. But I absolutely will not stay at this property again.

Okay, people don't travel to watch TV, but you just want things to work and to relax, and constantly calling the staff to fix the TV and having them in your room failing to fix the TV is not relaxing. Make sure major items in the rooms are working, or have spares and replace them. Period. This place was then too cheap to offer real recompense and gave my family member some awful ski cap that probably cost about 30 cents. Just unacceptable at this price point.

The room has very little in the way of amenities - free water, sparkling water, popcorn, hairnets, and makeup remover. No bath robe or slippers, so be sure to bring your own. The pool is very small but it does go up to 8 feet, which is nice. The cafe/restaurant on the premises is awesome. We loved all of the baked goods including the ham and cheese miso scone, the croissants, and the cookies. This area of the beach was quiet during the week. Fun place to sun bathe, watch the surfers, and really relax. While we were at Marram, I also took advantage of one of their free meditation sessions. If you're there while Raymond is doing the meditation, definitely check it out! It was a very relaxing way to kick off our stay. The walls are hilariously thin, but nothing that we weren't able to sleep through. Our room faced the courtyard and I was worried that it would be too loud at night, but it seems like they're serious about enforcing the quiet hours, which is nice. If you're looking for five star accommodations, this is not it. No room service, no concierge and very little available as far as food and beverage service. This place has been remodeled into a serene, minimalist getaway with very few distractions from the outside world. No TV's in the rooms and no complimentary newspaper; both of which make this the perfect escape. Get a room with a view of the ocean and you'll enjoy the scenery and the sounds. Unplug and enjoy the quiet environment. Read a book. Don't laugh, but the soap and shampoo make you smell like vacation. Take advantage of the heated pool and beach chairs and walk into town for meals and cocktails. Everything in Montauk is only a few minutes away by car. I would suggest trying to plan your stay in the slower part of the season to avoid the influx of the Instagram influenced city folk. As I mentioned, the food and beverage were the only areas that could use some help. It's daylight by 5am but the restaurant doesn't open until 8am, so you'll have to hike into town for coffee. Or sleep late. Coffee was great though. Breakfast was also minimalist but really amazing; simple food done well. 4-5 savory selections and a great assortment of pastries. The lunch / dinner service was puzzling so we avoided it (literally a protein with sides for $45 and the menu was not published). Cocktails were on point; pricey, but you're in the Hamptons so it's expected that every cocktail is $20. It would have been cool if they had some "pool food" or "beach food." I don't do the Yelp thing often but figured I would share my thoughts for posterity. I'm on the fence about going back to Marram. On one hand, we already have our room picked out for the next visit. On the other hand I don't think I can ever recreate such an amazing and relaxing vacation. We'll see.

On a Sunday morning during the month of July, even with a relatively quiet dining room, the service was terrible. We had to run down a server just for water and coffee. The coffee, if you can call it that, is watered down and tasteless. We asked for cream and sugar, none came, so we had to go get it ourselves from the kitchen. Bizarre. The banana bread, which is $16, is literally one slice with fresh bananas. OK, so I am fine with paying higher prices for the location, but $16 for one slice of banana bread? Give me a break. Turkey sausage patties are literally 1 mm thick. The avocado toast, which was a very light spread of avocado on toasted bread, was extremely spicy. Totally fine with tortilla chips for a dinner, but certainly not for a breakfast entrée. The smoked salmon came with cucumbers, which had a very weird medicinal taste. The only person happy with their breakfast had ordered the scrambled eggs. Tough to mess that up. One of our party asked for an over easy egg on the side, and they wouldn't do it. Asked for a fruit basket, but it never came. Service and quality of food were both extremely disappointing. The only redeeming quality is the location.
