stayed here for a weekend in july with gal pals for a bachelorette weekend. we had so much fun! the pools and lounge are the stars and some of the best amenities for relaxing. there's two pools, complete with full waiter service for food and drinks. the lounge aka palma day club has chairs, couches, and tables. there's even a grassy area that's also a dance floor for when there's a dj. during my visit, dj snakehips played on saturday afternoon and hotel guests have access as part of the stay. there was a hiccup upon check in where the hotel didn't have our reservation in the system. we had to wait as they sorted it out but fortunately, they were able to rectify the mistake by getting us a room (different from the one in the original reservation) for the night and comping it. conveniently located nearby restaurants, shops and, most importantly, within walking distance to the beach.

Truffle popcorn - to die for

This review is mainly for the restaurant as I have not stayed in the rooms but truly everything that I have tried on the menu (both food and drink) have been incredible, you truly can't go wrong. Just LOOK at these truffle fries, the soft shaved truffles are truly to die for. I would come back just for this. The truffle pizza is also the best I've ever had. The Call me an Uber cocktail and the Mexican Unicorn are the best cocktails. In terms of the staff, Yannis, Adriana, Walt, etc. are all great! We did a summer partnership with our ECOfashion Corp brands and we had a great time helping infuse sustainability into the hotel. They were very accommodating and we had a blast spending a lot of time at the hotel throughout the summer.

Not a bad spot to stay if you are in Montauk. The pool area is great for the younger crowd or people that like to have the party where they sleep, not my favorite to have the party and noise so close to where I sleep. It would get loud at night to try to settle down. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds weren't bad. Not very sound proof and wasn't a quiet night of sleep though. Don't recommend staying here on a weekend at all if you plan on getting a night of sleep at all though.

5 stars across all boards! What a pleasant 6 hours we spent here. So during COVID, we weren't allowed to go to the pool and we had to meet a minimum due to our party of 10, but that was completely understandable because the plan was to spend most of the day there and we were lucky that it was scorching hot that day. Our waiter Ryan, was the BEST. We ordered 2 vueve cliquots, a bottle of 1942, and about 12 pitchers of the Love machine and Montauk make outs (they were THAT good). The food was phenomenal. We ordered a clam pizza, truffle pizza, and diavola (all amazing). Then we got 2x tuna tartars (so good with the kiwi addition), 2 x beet salads with goat cheese (bomb!), 2x smoked burratas (I'm not a fan of smoked burrata, but it was good), and a charcuterie board (gone instantly). Honestly, Ryan attentiveness was outstanding. Best server we've had during our whole Montauk stay. And the food was amazing - props to the chef! Would love to come back again next time again. The minimum requirement was worth the 6 hours we got to spend here.

Have to laugh at some of the reviews here. First of all, Montauk, East Hampton aren't cheap, especially in the summer--people. Pool. We came here to bring our son to the pool for the weekend and could not have had a better experience. The communication from the staff was excellent. They continuously reminded us that there would be an adult pool party on Saturday, but that at our own discretion we could have our son at the pool. What a great time we all had. Maybe it was the crowd, who was fantastic. There were a few groups that were staying here and all super sweet. A bachelor and a bachelorette party. Our son loved the pizza bianca here. Drink pouches at the pool were delicious, filled with liquor. The room was perfect. We were on the upper level in the Moonlight rooms with two beds. Spacious, super clean and super cute decor. No fridges, tho, FYI. Super comfy beds and quilts and lots of pillows. The vueve cliquot sundeck was super cute and perfect for all your Instagram photos. Pool guy (David) and pool staff, again, stellar. These people remember your name, always have a smile on and are excellent. Sunday brunch menu was also delectable. Great time. We will be back.

There should be a sign on the door: "Millennials Welcome!" (there are emoji paintings in the lobby, need I say more?) I didn't book a room here, so I can only speak to the outdoor bar and lounge. My friend and I stopped by for drinks one night, they were tasty and strong! The atmosphere is beachy, welcoming, and youthful (tropical house, string lights, loungers and a swimming pool). Interestingly the service team seems to be comprised, almost entirely, of young men and women from Europe--doing a summer work stint in Montauk (our server was from Madrid). Grab a drink at the bar, and then head to one of the enormous striped beach chairs to snuggle up with your friends and take selfies. It feels like it's encouraged here!

Starting with the room, the size was good, but it could have been cleaner. I noticed some dust and dirt in the corners, and the room felt like it could use an update. The coffee machine looked older and wasn't very clean, the refrigerator wasn't working properly, and there wasn't an ice machine nearby--you have to call the front desk for ice. At night, the room wasn't very soundproof. You can hear footsteps from the room above, along with other noises, so if you're a light sleeper, it's something to keep in mind. On the weekend, the hotel was lively because of a wedding and the nightclub. There was music until around midnight, and when guests left, the noise from the cars made it difficult to get a full night's sleep. The food and drinks were very good, although they were on the expensive side. I was happy with the quality of the dining experience. Most of the staff were fine, though I noticed a few employees who seemed less welcoming. Thankfully, everyone I interacted with was polite. The overall atmosphere was the highlight of my stay. The property has a beautiful, relaxing vibe with a classy crowd, and I especially loved the morning yoga classes. I spent about $5,000 for a two-night stay, so I expected a more luxurious room experience. Mine was one of the more affordable room categories, and it didn't feel especially upscale for the price. Next time, I would probably visit for the food, drinks, beach, or spa day pass instead of staying overnight. If you're looking for a lively resort with plenty of events and activities, this is a great choice. If you're looking for a very quiet hotel, you may want to consider other options.

Upon arrival, was notified that the pool was out of service because the heater went down. They said I should have received a call. I didn't. After learning this, we figured we would spend most of our time in the hot tubs. Turns out, the heater went down for those also didn't work. The pool and the hot tubs were basically polar plunges. We booked a corner ocean view with a large balcony. The room itself was nice. Large, spacious and a wonderful shower with very nice water pressure. However, the room had ants. And a lot of them. I wish I took pictures. For a newly renovated property, you would think the HVAC systems would have been upgraded. But no. The heating in the room was so loud we actually had to turn it off in the middle of the night because it prevented us from sleeping. This property as a whole puts A-LOT of money on the esthetics. The lighting it beautiful, the wall decor is gorgeous, but it's the the things you don't see easily that need help. Ripped cushions, rotting wood on the patio, ants, poor HVAC, and clearly not a 24/7 on call pool repair for a resort that in the summer time charges $1500 a night for a basic room. Again, you book a winter getaway at a place like this to enjoy the pool and spa. When it's not working properly it just ruins the entire trip and there is no point in staying there. A seperate review of the restaurant was already posted by me. The restaurant was the saving grace. But I absolutely will not stay at this property again.

Okay, people don't travel to watch TV, but you just want things to work and to relax, and constantly calling the staff to fix the TV and having them in your room failing to fix the TV is not relaxing. Make sure major items in the rooms are working, or have spares and replace them. Period. This place was then too cheap to offer real recompense and gave my family member some awful ski cap that probably cost about 30 cents. Just unacceptable at this price point.

The pool is very small but it does go up to 8 feet, which is nice. The cafe/restaurant on the premises is awesome. We loved all of the baked goods including the ham and cheese miso scone, the croissants, and the cookies. This area of the beach was quiet during the week. Fun place to sun bathe, watch the surfers, and really relax. While we were at Marram, I also took advantage of one of their free meditation sessions. If you're there while Raymond is doing the meditation, definitely check it out! It was a very relaxing way to kick off our stay. On a Sunday morning during the month of July, even with a relatively quiet dining room, the service was terrible. We had to run down a server just for water and coffee. The coffee, if you can call it that, is watered down and tasteless. We asked for cream and sugar, none came, so we had to go get it ourselves from the kitchen. Bizarre. The banana bread, which is $16, is literally one slice with fresh bananas. OK, so I am fine with paying higher prices for the location, but $16 for one slice of banana bread? Give me a break. Turkey sausage patties are literally 1 mm thick. The avocado toast, which was a very light spread of avocado on toasted bread, was extremely spicy. Totally fine with tortilla chips for a dinner, but certainly not for a breakfast entrée. The smoked salmon came with cucumbers, which had a very weird medicinal taste. The only person happy with their breakfast had ordered the scrambled eggs. Tough to mess that up. One of our party asked for an over easy egg on the side, and they wouldn't do it. Asked for a fruit basket, but it never came. Service and quality of food were both extremely disappointing. The only redeeming quality is the location. Don't come here and spare yourself to disappointment.
