Havy Nail & Beauty Bar is aesthetically everything--super clean, bright, and chic with a fresh, modern vibe that instantly makes you feel like you're treating yourself. The staff was lovely and the space itself is definitely the kind of place you'd want to return to for a self-care moment. That said, while they do say walk-ins are welcome, I'd highly recommend booking in advance. I called right when they opened and could barely snag a 30-minute slot for a basic pedicure. I had originally planned to go for the seasonal (upgraded) pedi, but was told they didn't have time for anything but the basic service. At first I was a little bummed (and confused why they wouldn't want to squeeze it in for more money--but respect the appointment aspect)... until I realized half of the "basic" service was spent in glorious hot stone massage and lotion massage treatment. Honestly? It was so relaxing, I might not bother upgrading next time. There were no drink offers--alcoholic or otherwise--which was a slight letdown since some salons offer that little extra touch. But I brought my water and a book, and once I settled in, it was smooth sailing. Overall, Havy delivered a solid experience with top-notch cleanliness and a great atmosphere. I had been going to this nail salon for almost 3 years and always had great experiences -- until recently. The owner/manager has been consistently rude and unprofessional, which completely changed the atmosphere of the salon. Because of that, I decided I will not be returning. Havy is AMAZING! When i have an appointment I NEVER have to wait. My nail tech never answers the phone or does other stuff while i am getting my nails done. Salon is spotless and they are very up on all the latest trends. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I LOVE them.....prices are a little higher than most but worth every penny. I used to say I didn't have a favorite nail salon UNTIL NOW! HaVy nails is the most beautiful nail shop. The blush and gold details are tastefully done and everything was so clean. They have gone above and beyond with COVID safety and I really felt comfortable here. At first I was surprised that they didn't have massage chairs while you get a pedicure but, honestly I didn't even miss it. The massage on my legs and feet was everything I needed this stressful season!! I scheduled with Kim and I'm so glad I did. She's very friendly and meticulous with her work! Had a gel manicure with Fang today and it was not bad! Beautiful salon in the inside and loved their color selections. Fang did a nice job but I almost wish the salon did something a little more special to stand out like adding a hand scrub at the end or paraffin wax. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked a pedicure and a dip manicure. First off I had Diamond who I've had in the past and she's usually great. I don't know if she had an off day but she was pushy and rushed me to select a dip color for my hand while I was getting my pedicure. Speaking of the pedicure it was mediocre, I've had better. Thinking this place was upscale I thought I would have received a better pedicure than just a quick scrub on my feet. When the pedicure was done I was attempting to pull down my pants from my calves (I have large calves, it was cold out I couldn't wear shorts). Diamond shouts across the salon "you can't pull them down?" I was mortified since the place was packed that morning, I was fighting back tears. The manicure was okay but my cuticles were not cut and when I left I found dip in my cuticles. I cashed out, I got gel on my toes......AN EXTRA $20 FOR GEL? $20! I could see $10 but $20? I drove an hour and a half for this place, never again. This place is a rip off, the employees have no filter in embarassing you. I would never reccomend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Let's just say I was disappointed. This was me and my mothers first time here. I took her here for Mother's Day. We both got pedicures. This place was absolutely beautiful inside, and very clean. I did feel like my pedicure was very very very rushed and the "scrubbing" wasn't nearly intense as other places I have been. Definitely beautiful but won't be returning back for a pedicure. I opted to try this new nail salon out because it's close to two other shops I love (Plants and Ponytails and ElBurne). I have now gone here twice and can't imagine going somewhere else! I do the dip nails - they have an awesome range of colors and both times lasted longer than when I went to Glossy in Hingham (which was only two weeks at best!). The worst, rude, uncomfortable experience! I wish that I could give zero stars. The technician that I had spent the entire time looking behind her and she left me 8 times.to do something else. Answer phone talk to people walking in... there were plenty of other workers there and it was not that busy that she had to keep walking away from me. Not only that, she didn't even apologize once!!! My nails looked terrible after I left here. Never have I rated a place on Yelp but do not go here. I was even more upset when the receptionist came over, looked at my nails, then jokingly hit the lady doing them and laughed. When I went to pay, she couldn't even keep a straight face. I've now been here twice, both times because MiniLuxe was booked. I will start with the positives, it's very beautiful and clean inside and the noise levels are reasonable which is nice if you're looking to relax. Their guest WiFi is also stronger than MiniLuxe which is nice. However, I've been less than impressed with my services both times. The first time I went in for a pedicure. From the time I sat down to the time I was moved to a drier was exactly 19 minutes. It was extremely rushed for a regular pedicure and it was not thorough. The second time I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. The nails were filed unevenly and they didn't properly clean up the polish afterwards. Not great, but I can live with that. The gel manicure on the other hand was the worst I have ever had. The polish was streaky and clumpy. The nails were also cut too short and filed unevenly. I tried to explain this to the technician multiple times but I don't think she understood me (she was a very sweet older woman). When I showed it to who I believe to be the co-owner, she apologized and offered to redo my nails. I did take her up on it and she did a nice job, although there was not much that could be done about the length and shape of the nails. I appreciate that she tried to make it right even though that meant that she had to squeeze me in during a busy time, however perhaps some additional training is needed so this situation doesn't occur in the future. read more

Absolutely wonderful! I brought my niece here for a manicure and we had such a great time. Havy is absolutely stunning. The decor is beautiful and the employees are over the top nice. Everyone was so pleasant and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. They have a large color selection of all types, regular polish, gel and dip. This place has started to change now that they're getting more customers. If they are busy, expect to be ignored while waiting for your scheduled appointment at the front, standing in Covid land, while they keep their heads down and only come over to greet you when you say something. Was in there a couple weeks ago and some of the people getting pedicures, as well as manicures at the bar were not distanced at least 6 feet apart. My friend also had an appointment booked the other day and they took her 15 mins late even though she was on time, all because they were busy, without regard for the fact that she had an appointment and the other client was a walk-in. Word to the wise for the owner: When you start to put making more cash (i.e. not turning walk-ins down if you don't have time for them before your next scheduled appt) and flooding the place with walk-ins, which isn't Covid safe, ahead of those who properly book appointments, you're going down the wrong path, especially in an area as nice as this.
