We arrived about 45 minutes before our flight and were checked in quickly. About 15 minutes before our experience was set to begin, they walked us over to the boat and gave us life jacket. When it was time to fly, we were set harnesses and quickly locked in. The flight itself was so much fun and they dunk you in the water at the end. It was just my family of 3 and two other groups of 3 on the boat. The whole experience was a little less than an hour and totally worth it. They offer to take photos, if that's something you want as well.

Lobsters we received were pregnant which I'm sure is not okay, a lot of green near the tail. The performances were okay seemed all over the place and not authentic. Cheap costumes and again just seemed like children needing a job. We also paid extra for a celebration cake, but it arrived with a "Congratulations" banner that wasn't even appropriate for our occasion. When I finally spoke to the manager she told me there's no option to choose the occasion so all cakes come that way. To make matters worse, it was simply handed to us off to the side with no presentation or effort to make the moment feel special. The most frustrating part was the customer service. I asked to speak with a manager three separate times and was ignored each time. The manager never came to us--I had to find her myself. You can definitely find another better event For the price of this experience, I expected much better service, attention to detail, and professionalism. The views were beautiful, but they weren't enough to make up for everything else. I wouldn't choose this cruise again. Morning after update: my daughter woke up puking her brains out, im sure from the unpleasing looking lobster. I'd definitely stay away from this company and boat

Price probably was more on…read morethe high-end compared to bigger-sized group or different time slot, but quite worth the tag. All the staffs were so attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable. It was quite confusing to find the meetup point at the beginning, but asking the hotel staff did help us getting there. We went on the high-tide day so needed to walk a bit from the usual boarding area. Probably helpful to remind people wearing slippers as you'd need to take shoes off. They did provide proper and plenty storage spaces for your footwear on the boat (appreciated!). Drinks were pretty much bottomless and they had their very own Mai Tai so you could really enjoy the 'complete Hawaiian package'! The only problem with high tide day, it meant be prepped to get wet and going on and off the boat would be quite tricky as you needed to manage timing to avoid the tide from getting you soaking wet. I was unfortunately not the pro and literally got half-bottom wet, getting off the boat LOL. Paid off by the gorgeous sunset view!!

I highly recommend the Snorkeling with Turtles semi-private tour with Hawaii Ocean Charters and our tour guide Francesco! My husband and I had an amazing experience with the group. We were incredibly lucky to spot whales as soon as we set sail, and the tour guides made it even more special by sharing fascinating details--not just about the whales, but throughout the entire trip. Once we arrived at Turtle Bay, they provided all the snorkeling equipment, explained the safety guidelines, and even gave a beginner-friendly lesson on snorkeling, which I really appreciated since it was my first time. The guides were super helpful and made me feel comfortable in the water. We spent an hour swimming and exploring, spotting plenty of marine life--including, of course, the turtles! Seeing them up close was a truly special moment for me, as turtles are my favorite animal. To top it off, we cruised around Diamond Head, offering a perfect opportunity for photos. The tour includes snorkeling gear, water and soft drinks, plenty of space on the boat to sit back and enjoy the views, and tons of interesting insights from the guides. Found the turtles with ease. You didn't just take us on a sail or snorkel. You took the opportunity to educate us on Island life. The culture, the history. You showed us such warmth and kindness. We're so glad we booked the semi-private 6-person tour with Hawaiian Ocean Charters during our stay in Oʻahu--it was truly one of the best moments I had in Hawaii! The boat's location was super convenient, especially since we were staying near Ala Moana, making the whole experience easy and accessible. The crew was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. Although the water was a bit murky that day, we still got lucky and spotted a few turtles and tropical fish, which was a treat. The boat itself was thoughtfully prepared with bean bag seating and refreshments, which made for an extra comfortable and enjoyable sail. There was a little confusion toward the end about sailing to another location, but we ended up returning to our original docking point. We had a fabulous time on this snorkeling tour! We booked the small-group tour, which accommodates up to six people, and we ended up being the only three guests that day. They told us that doesn't happen very often, so we definitely felt lucky! Sam and Kasia were both incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable. Kasia was our snorkel instructor and was so sweet and attentive. She took us into the water, floated around with us, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Sam was hilarious, had plenty of jokes, and was genuinely so fun to spend the day with. Since it was just the three of us, we received so much undivided attention, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and relaxed. We also had a great time simply cruising around on the catamaran and taking in the beautiful water and scenery. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would absolutely recommend this company. Booked a trip in the catamaran for my 21st birthday and I couldn't have thought of a better way to spend it. The boat itself was huge! It had a really awesome view deck on the top and it had waterproof bean bags and trampolines near the front of the boat which is where we did most of the relaxing. Captian Francesco was super awesome, he knew what he was doing and was able to take us to all the cool zones around the southeast side of the island. We did some snorkeling and saw all kinds of fish, turtles, and even a large manta ray! On our way back to the harbor, we got lucky with a pod of dolphins that began swimming and jumping at the front of the catamaran. All this made for one of the best birthdays ever!!! 10/10 would recommend. My girlfriend and I went on a sunset cruise yesterday and it was one of the best experiences we've had! With so many different options of cruises lining the shores of Waikiki it's hard to pick, but you will not regret choosing Hawaii Ocean Charters. The captain was very knowledgeable and friendly, you can tell he has spent his life on the water. The boat was clean and well kept with snorkeling gear for the guests to use! After cruising around the south shore of the island we anchored and snorkeled over a beautiful reef with plenty of ocean life to see, and it ended with a beautiful sunset. Francesco and his crew were amazing!! We had all of our families out for the day for snorkeling and swimming! The day went perfectly. Once we boarded the boat, we immediately felt like we were on the boat of a family friend. In every way, they took care of us and made sure that our day was exactly as we imagined it. By Far the BEST snorkeling tour on Oahu. We went on their Turtle Snorkel Adventure Tour, on their Ocean Freedom boat. The boat ride was very comfortable and super fun. The snorkeling adventure experience was awesome. We saw so many fish, not to mention that their our snorkeling guide was amazing, he kept diving down and showing us octopus, kauri shells, huge star fish, you name it. I have never been on an ocean cruise before and a friend recommended this company because he had such a great time. I must say that the expedition was indeed worth every penny. Every step from booking to sailing was clear, concise, and time-efficient. BEFORE THE SAIL: About a week prior to our trip from mainland to Oahu, I contacted Kiah to schedule a sailing excursion. Communication via phone, text, and email made the process easy and time-efficient. She was prompt in responding and the reservation was set quickly. With the busy-ness of traveling, I appreciated the reminder texts and emails! DAY OF: We arrived at Kewalo Basin Harbor,Pier C (at the end of the parking area) and called Sail Honu as instructed. We entered through the gate, walked to the end of the pier, and met our friendly sailing crew of 2: Kiah and Natalie. *It was a special treat to see a honu (turtle) floating in the water nearby! After some brief instructions, we left the dock for our 2-hour sail. Once anchored at sea, you can snorkel (equipment provided), sit in the ocean in a floating chair (tethered to the boat), or relax on the boat netting. *Natalie was out in the water and found a big starfish! Both Kiah and Natalie are the BEST! They are friendly, knowledgable, and very accommodating. We were in good hands with them in charge of the sail. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAIL HONU!!!

She is a phenomenal captain and her first mate (and crew, per all of Sail Honu reviews on Google and here on Yelp) are top notch, have high EQ, and actually care about the guest experience, the coral reef, honu, sea life, teaching, and more. They work hard to understand weather patterns so you aren't out on the water ending up in a predicament. Anything can happen, of course, but if it can knowingly be prevented for your protection, they will ensure safety! Outside of the technical aspect, SO MUCH FUN! These ladies have amazing senses of humor, great taste in music, and treat you well by ensuring you have everything you need. It's BYOB and they will serve what you bring, and ask if you need refills throughout the time together. We had four in our group and expected to have a great time, but it really was the best time...better than anticipated because of Kiah and Malia. Everything for parking, directions, rules, what to bring, wear, etc., is sent in advance, along with reminder texts and emails. I typically use rideshare, so that too was easy to provide to the driver. I have booked other catamaran tours here on Oahu... this is my go-to from now on!!!

From the moment we arrived, Joanna (from Rhode Island) and Ali (our captain) made us feel welcome and at ease. They were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. One of our friends was a little nervous about diving into the open ocean because of sharks, but Joanna and Ali were so reassuring and accommodating that everyone felt safe and excited. Within about 30 minutes, we found ourselves in front of a pod of bottlenose dolphins and got the incredible opportunity to swim with them--at least 20 in total! The dolphins were playful and curious, making it an experience we'll never forget. After the dolphins, we snorkeled in a stunning spot and even swam with turtles. The kids were thrilled, and the entire group was amazed at the marine life and the crystal-clear water. The crew made the day seamless, fun, and memorable for everyone, from the youngest to the adults. We couldn't recommend Aloha Ocean more for anyone looking for a truly special Hawaiian adventure. It was hands down one of the best days we've ever had on the water!

Just did a cageless shark dive with Go Adventure Hawaii and wow... what an unforgettable…read moreexperience! I'll be honest it was the scariest thing I've ever done. At one point, I refused to even look down into the ocean but then my son tapped me and pointed... and there it was a shark swimming right toward us. I almost passed out! Even though I was terrified, it turned into such an amazing memory. My son had the best time and is already asking to come back again. That alone made it all worth it. Huge appreciation to the staff they were professional, supportive and made us feel safe the whole time. Plus, we got some really cool pictures to remember it by! If you're looking for something thrilling and unforgettable, this is it.
