The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The crab roll was packed full of crab meat inside the toasted bun. I love whatever sauce they put on top + the lemon which made the crab meat ridiculously refreshing. The side of salad helped me feel better about eating healthy too and was a nice textural break from the crab roll. Overall, the crab roll tastes relatively similar to what I had at Lobster and Beer. Lobster tacos: If you're a fan of American style like Baja fresh, the tacos are healthier, then these are for you. These tacos are not like Mexican styles, so be warned. Lobster grilled cheese: this sandwich was HEFTY! It is a lactose intolerant person's nightmare because of how much cheese was in it! The bisque was very aromatic and was delicious to eat the day of. My group came here for lunch because we were looking for a sandwich place in the Pasadena area. My sister found this restaurant on Yelp and we all wanted to try it since loved the lobster rolls we had while visiting Washington DC last spring. The lobster roll that I ordered was alright, but I am do comparing to a rather high bar that was set when we went to a seafood shop in Maryland that also specialized in lobster rolls. The lobster rolls had a ton of lobster and the roll was buttery, crunchy and delicious. The lobster bisque was probably Top 3 I've ever had and that is saying a lot. It was full of lobster, creamy, rich and full of flavor. I give it a 10. We also received a cup of clam chowder and that was full of clams and potatoes. Be careful as it was hot and filling. We got the clobster roll (a mix of crab and lobster) Connecticut style (which includes mayo AND butter and is served warm), a lobster roll Connecticut style, and one regular sized order of fries. The lobster roll tasted great and was reasonably priced. My only complaint would be that compared to other photos on Yelp, my roll seemed insufficiently full as far as lobster meat. The clobster roll also could've used more meat stuffed in. The bigger problem is the crab, which is extremely briny/fishy. I wasn't a fan of the mixture because of this fishiness. We didn't get sick or anything, so it wasn't off. I think it's what kind of crab you use. The fries were good and crispy, and a regular order is more than enough for two people to share. I would go back and do recommend it. I like the lobster roll at The Dive in Temple City, but they charge $40. There is more meat on it, but this is half the price. We got the Connecticut lobster roll which the lobster was tossed with butter, mayo, green onion and old bay and the Cali truffle roll which had lobster, truffle oil, herb mayo, avocado, cucumber, carrots, red onion, lettuce, celery, green onion and old bay. We also got Cajun jumbo shrimp with the homemade cocktail sauce which was so good! The shrimp was so juicy and plump. The clam chowder and lobster bisque was surprisingly good as well. Lots of clam pieces in the chowder and actual lobster pieces in the bisque as well. It wasn't watery at all. As for the fries, tater tots are much better than the regular fries. We look forward to coming here again. Service was quick and efficient. He brought out the soup first which was much appreciated. It was extremely hot too. Then the rolls and shrimp. OH FYI. But the prices are high for the quality of the lobster when compared to other lobster roll restaurants in the area and they're still ironing out some issues in their opening I think. It had a nice flavor and decent amount of mayo but nonexistent amount of butter and the lobster wasn't fresh at all. It was very rubbery and flavorless and seemed old. For the prices, it should be springy, fresh and full of lobster flavor, and drowning in butter lol. Their rolls are a tad more expensive than other spots in the area imo. We also tried the fish sandwich off their specials menu - the menu says it comes with fries. I wanted to verify with the staff that it comes with fries bc if so, I didn't want to order a side of fries unnecessarily. It had a very odd, artificial texture, super fishy flavor, and ZERO lobster pieces inside. For $15 I expect a nice, soupy texture flowing with chunks of lobster. Definitely wouldn't order this again. The fish sandwich itself had a nice flavor but way more breading than fish unfortunately. Not sure I'd get again. All that said, they have a lot of potential - the staff are very helpful and nice. A bit warm and stuffy inside on a hot summer day. A few indoor tables, no outdoor patio, small parking lot shared with other businessess. Early 2000s rock music was blasting the whole time. On the cheap end as far as lobster rolls go, and they also have Yelp check-in discounts so be sure you keep an eye out for those. I got a Maine roll and asked for everything on the side. They still doused the meat in their aioli, I had to scrape some off because it was too saucy. I sprinkled on some seasoning and green onions myself, plus a squeeze of lemon. I prefer regular mayo but the aioli had a nice flavor. There was a decent amount of lobster meat, not the most succulent but not bad either. Any flavor got drowned out by the sauce. The bun was too thick and tasted a day old or something. My biggest gripe was that the Maine roll is supposed to have chilled lobster but it tasted lukewarm, maybe because of all the aioli they douse it in. Also got a side of sweet potato waffle fries, they were extra crispy, perhaps left in the fryer a minute or so too long, lost that sweet potato flavor in the process, more like chips in the end. Pretty solid lobster roll option that won't break the bank, but still a bit disappointing (Cousins is my gold standard). As someone from New England, these lobster rolls have been the closest to main lobster rolls I've been able to find on the west coast! The lobster rolls have an okay amount of lobster, it is mostly claw (versus tail) in the rolls. For approximately $20, it's not as absurdly pricy compared to other lobster rolls in CA. This spot replaced a hot chicken restaurant that was located here and I guess they didn't do so well. The restaurant is small and don't expect a fancy seafood restaurant, this is for fast food seafood lovers without a lot of time on their hands. I ordered a Connecticut Style Lobster Roll, regular fries, canned drink, and it comes with a small side salad. The service is quick as I had my food in less the ten minutes. The roll was delicious and the heavy seasoned fries were so good and crispy, this order will set you back 27 bucks. read more

Connecticut lobster roll - warm lobster meat packed inside a buttery toasted bun, no annoying fillings, mayo, sauce, cole slaw, etc., just good fresh juicy lobster meat. Even though I've never been to New England, I feel this is as good a lobster roll as you can get here in SoCal. (I've had better in Cupertino.) Clam chowder - good consistency and taste, but too salty for me. Deep fried calamari - red battered fried calamari strips, the batter has zero taste, dipping in the cocktail sauce doesn't do much either.
