Asked for double Mac and no rice and it full of rice. Why can't these people listen?

Ask for NO rice still get rice every dam time. Asked for the mix plate got one kind of chicken. These kids want tips I don't think so.

Love Hawaiian time but this time it was not good. Ordered 3 spicy chicken 3 veggie sides and 1 large huli chicken ... all burned . Even the veggies were very over cooked. Still recommend this place but definitely check your order before you drive home.

25 cents each. I could pour all three into one.

C'mon Hawaiian Time, if your going to start charging 25cents for every extra sauce, at least fill them up. We have been coming for years. This feels like nickel and diming. Bummer

I've been a big fan of Hawaiian Time for over 10 years and always loved the food. My wife and I have frequently went to the Springfield, W 11th Ave and River Road locations. The Springfield location has always been outstanding, W 11th Ave we have no complaints, but this location has always been off. First off, over the 2 years of coming here, the drive thru attendants always tend to be lazy, rude, overall apathetic ( beyond the usual measure) and/or high. Also, this is the 3rd or 4th time that we have received our food in a mess, with the cardboard box messes up, and food and liquids leaking out into the bag, making an overall mess. However this time, after eating we both got sick and have had stomach troubles for 2 days now. It was the only thing we ate on Monday so we know it couldn't have been anything else. I would suggest going to the other Hawaiian Time places if you can.

My Favorite Salad Ever. Love it. Friendly staff. Went though drive thru fast every time even when busy.

My go-to lunch spot. A little pricey but worth it. Unlike any other fast food. One of Eugene's gems.

Slow slow slow service. Super expensive for mostly rice. If you have an hour to kill for overpriced drive thru it's perfect

Not very good tea and sauce... Waited on their doorstep for over an hour. Also a bone in my meat and I didn't sense anything.

My son raves about this place and he's right - Delicious teriyaki. Definitely would come here again.

Really good food, staff is awesome, portions are not the greatest. Always have to order extra meat to feel full.

Love the macaroni salad and the Huli chicken. The large size combo is enough to make two meals.

More like SALT time. Not bad food, just way too salty for my taste. Not a fan. Go here if you like your food on the salty side.

Solid hawaiin spot. Shoyu chicken was flavorful and large portion of it. I liked their Mac salad…read more It had potato's in it which was good. The rice was ok. Not the best hawaiin I have ever had but good. Their teriyaki beef looked good would want to try that if I came back. 16$ for the chicken. The people here were very friendly.

I came to this truck on Saturday at Autzen Stadium with my husband…read more I'm always a bit leery of trying Hawaiian food here. One of our good friends is Hawaiian and therefore quite opinionated on the subject. Finding authentic and delicious Hawaiian food is a legit challenge. We walked up to the truck and were immediately greeted by the cashier. He was friendly and helpful. The first thing I noticed was his accent. He sounded exactly like the Hawaiian friend I mentioned earlier. So I thought this was a good sign. Both him and the other employee who gave us our food were super friendly and kind. That vibe and energy always makes me smile. My husband ordered the garlic chicken and I ordered teriyaki beef. They only had three options on the menu, and the third being pulled pork. Both plates came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious. Portions seemed a tad small for the price, but I really didn't care. I was full, and it was delicious. I text our friend about this business, and he said it is hands down THE best Hawaiian food in town. Which I definitely agree with. It is a small family run business, and I love it. Our friend said they've scaled back to only doing events like the spring game where we found them and catering, which makes me super sad. Because I would totally go out of my way to visit them and eat there again. I'd become a regular real quick. Despite the fact they only do events and catering, if you find them at an event you're attending, give them a try! It is so worth it. You'll thank me, I promise. Review 29 of 2025.

Visited Oakshire to get some food and found this Hawaiian truck we hadn't tried yet…read more We were excited to see a menu that was a little different from the other 2 Hawaiian trucks in town and a very reasonable price ($15 got 2 scoops of rice, slaw or Mac salad and a huge portion of the main protein). I tried the Cod Katsu plate because I have never seen a fish katsu before and was intrigued. This was a VERY good dish. The Katsu crust was super crunchy and held up well to the deliciously spicy katsu sauce and the juice from the slaw without ever getting soggy. The fish was nice and juicy and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough katsu sauce and I had to request more. My wife tried the Pork Bulgogi plate. It was very flavorful and tasty but the meat was so full of fat and gristle it was hard to eat. She tossed half the meat, that's why I took off the 5th star from this review. We'll definitely try them again, we'll be sharing the garlic tofu dish next time!

I also would have liked some more heat- would have been good with sriracha or chili garlic sauce. I would try something different next time but I'm not in a hurry to return.

Everyone in line was hungry and excited to get inside and order. When it was my turn, I got the clam chowder and the Captain's Platter with cod as my fish choice. Food came out fairly quick. They call your number and you pick it up at the counter. My clam chowder was to die for. Lots of fresh clams and potatoes. Yum! The fried clams, shrimp and cod looked like it was a little over fried. But I saw other people's plates looking the same so I started to eat mine and absolutely loved it! I'm excited to come back, enjoy a great meal and pick up some smoked fish and some of the take and bake items.

It was difficult for many guests to move between the tables. During our visit, I saw at least three older customers struggling to navigate the narrow aisles, and one woman on crutches had a particularly hard time getting through. Accessibility is definitely an area that could use some attention. The restrooms were also located outside and, unfortunately, were quite dingy and in need of a thorough cleaning. For lunch, we ordered the fish and chips special, crab cakes, and clam chowder. The clam chowder was the biggest disappointment-there was very little seafood and it was mostly potatoes. The crab cakes were also far too salty. I understand that crab cakes are often seasoned aggressively, but these crossed into territory that made them difficult to enjoy. The fish and chips ended up being the saving grace of the meal: crispy, flavorful, and easily the best dish we ordered. We also shared a kombucha, which was refreshing and paired nicely with lunch. Pricing was reasonable, but for me the food quality and execution didn't quite justify the reputation. Parking was also challenging, especially during the busy lunch rush. Overall, it was an average experience with a few bright spots, but there's definitely room for improvement
