WOW! This place has been open for 4 years now and I didn't find out about it until a couple of days…read moreago. They have a great selection of wines and the absolute most spectacular views you will ever have the chance to see. I highly recommend anyone in the Lake county area to try their wines and experience the atmosphere.

After pouring thru the many winery options, confusing myself more than coming to a decision as to…read morewhich would be "best", some local friends suggested Wild Diamonds. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the weather, overcast and cloudy with some sun finally appearing toward the end. But still had some amazing views. The wines were all very good with some being standouts. The number and size of the tastings were more than acceptable. Our host Jazzlynn was personable and informative. She had nothing but positive things to say about the winery, owners, winemaker and working there--all pluses in my book as I love supporting family-run businesses who care about their employees. The drive up the mountain to get to Wild Diamonds in Lake County is nice and also provides for the great scenery while tasting in the "rooms with a view". With enough notice (48 hours) they can have charcuterie boards available for you. I thought I also heard them say you're welcome to bring your own--but don't quote me on that... verify! If you want to get away from the commercialized options in Napa and Sonoma, you won't go wrong at Wild Diamonds!

I don't even know where to start because there was too much greatness! If you want a quiet,…read morerelaxing, romantic, fun getaway, this is the place to go! (Doesn't have to be romantic; can also be fun with girlfriends!) This is an absolutely beautiful 3-bedroom home equipped with everything you can think of for a good time: full kitchen, dining area, patio with BBQ grill, fire pit, plenty of tables and chairs, and we even saw hammocks hanging on some trees! The rooms can be individually booked, or you can book all three for your friends and family. The home sits on a vineyard, so you get to taste their delicious wines. In the dining/living room area, you have access to games and a projector that is connected to Apple TV, so you can project a movie on the wall! How cool is that?! DANIEL gave us the best wine-tasting experience we have ever had. His explanations were thorough and very interesting. It went beyond the "peppery notes with hints of berries" descriptions you usually get at wineries. He explained the winemaking process because he has done it all, from planting grapes to making wine. And he was very kind and patient with all of our questions. And up the hill a little bit there is another home that they rent as well, and if it is vacant, you get full access to the pool! Another thing I appreciated now during covid is that the entire home was very clean! No carpet in the rooms (which makes it feel instantly cleaner already), the sheets smelled of fresh laundry detergent, and the shower was spotless. The rooms also have beautiful wooden patios. And then in the morning, we got a delicious hot breakfast by Gunay! She was so sweet and hospitable. On a sad note, they no longer have the llamas or sheep. But it is still a great experience! Also, don't be scared when you are following the GPS to arrive here! It's literally in the middle of no where! In conclusion to my short novel, we will definitely be returning with friends and enjoy all of the amenities!
