They have a great selection of wines and the absolute most spectacular views you will ever have the chance to see. After pouring thru the many winery options, confusing myself more than coming to a decision as to which would be "best", some local friends suggested Wild Diamonds. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the weather, overcast and cloudy with some sun finally appearing toward the end. But still had some amazing views. The wines were all very good with some being standouts. The number and size of the tastings were more than acceptable. Our host Jazzlynn was personable and informative. She had nothing but positive things to say about the winery, owners, winemaker and working there--all pluses in my book as I love supporting family-run businesses who care about their employees. The drive up the mountain to get to Wild Diamonds in Lake County is nice and also provides for the great scenery while tasting in the "rooms with a view". With enough notice (48 hours) they can have charcuterie boards available for you. I thought I also heard them say you're welcome to bring your own--but don't quote me on that... verify! If you want to get away from the commercialized options in Napa and Sonoma, you won't go wrong at Wild Diamonds! read more

Love this place. We were a little unsure as we made our way up the hill but once we got there it was amazing. But even more amazing is Joy. She is the perfect example of the people that can make or break a business. She offered so many recommendations along with a smile. I live in Sonoma valley and have done many tastings over the years in Sonoma and Napa, but today was a standout! My girlfriend and I came into Wild Diamond and had the best experience. Jazlynn was super helpful, knowledgeable, and fun. The views and vibes were incredible. Great lineup of wines - my favorites were the semillon, mouvedre, cab franc, and the Bordeaux.' We stopped by Wild Diamond on a whim for the wine tasting and were beyond delighted with our experience. The drive through the property is beautiful, and up a well defined, mid-grade gravel road. When you arrive at the top of the mountain, the vista is captivating and the set-up of the tasting area is modern and welcoming. As we walked up to the tasting building window, we were greeted by Joy and Travis, who immediately put a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in our hands and invited us to find a place to sit. We sat on the top deck and enjoyed many great wines! The tasting area has been in place for about 3 years and it is clear they are continuing to develop the tasting set-up offerings. Currently, they offer several great wines and it is easy to spend hours there. They do not have food available, but if you call ahead to plan your trip they can have a charcuterie prepared for you! We joined the wine club membership and look forward to going back again and again! It is a Lake County gem! read more

Amazing! The wine, the hospitality, the location- Spectacular. Hands down my favorite wine and winery in the area. Joy met us in the parking lot with a delicious glass of wine to welcome us and then proceeded to be completely delightful as she told us about Wild Diamonds. Had a great weekend at Wild Diamond Vineyards. The red wine and white wine were spectacular and at a great price! The vineyard views are the best i have seen. Luis and Joy did a great job serving the wines and i loved meeting Bruce the winemaker. The vineyard is not too far away from Calistoga, and i highly recommend visiting. read more
